So, i took the Kineticism idea, reduced it, and made it a sub-part of the semblance rather than the whole thing. Though it, in theory is still just as capable of insane crap as before i did this, the requirements of them doing it is significantly increased. To be honest, this one is going to need some serious IC development and intervention from others to start moving towards it, as they currently reside on the opposite end of the spectrum. Sort of same ability, but with a special clause that weakens it severely.

I also added changes to it that makes him into more of a berserk tank when it really gets going. It will be notable in phase one of this, but its really phase two that whatever caused it should be concerned about. Though, for that concern, if they lose, he does end up in an incredibly vulnerable state where even he is a threat to himself.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Lyras
Age:17
Sex: M (physical appearance, however, will leave you guessing.)
Race: [ ] Human [X] Faunus
Animal Traits (Omit if human): Bat ears, and decently effective sonar ability at the detriment of messing up his throat if done for too long. For those instances when you have to navigate and night vision isn't helping.
Biography: His early life started out relatively average, a middle income household, two older siblings, and two parents with medium income jobs. From the outside, this home seemed like a perfect nuclear family. At only age 6, for him, it was broken up. Years of neglect, and drunken abuse by his parents on his older siblings, had finally come around. While Lyras himself had been spared much of it, his brother and sister were not as lucky. Having somehow gotten a hold of weapons, money, and even jobs, the two nearly murdered his parents when they attempted to stop them from leaving. As a final insult, they 'kidnapped' their only remaining child, Lyras. His life would, for the most continue normally. Six years later, he learned his siblings had acquired what they had through illegal mafia contacts. His sister had sense broken off, though his brother was still indeed heavily involved, and continued to afford them numerous luxuries. Though this time was, from the outside, bland and not worthy of note, it is the period in Lyras life where "Understanding light and dark" as the duty of an aura, and a requirement to use it, was taken quite literally by his body. Taking separate sides, his mind became possessed primarily of light, his soul primarily of darkness. A strange environmental micro evolution, which causes Lyras' trait to always seem like he's trying to hide from something. Indeed, he is trying to hide, from the other half of himself. The condition was worsened as he entered school, and of course, combat school. Being a Faunus guaranteed the moment he stepped foot in the school to be a target of harassment. Worse yet, not just being a Faunus, but calling himself male, while undoubtedly looking very much not male as he did like one. A series of enraging and depressing events, and years, later, see him accepting and recognizing himself as 'genderfluid' and intentionally failing to disclose his physical sex for reason of bullying, and of self comfort. Thought, no amount of bullying would slow his progress on training, infact, it increased it drastically, seeing him spend increasing amounts of free time in the gym, or practicing in an open area.

Numerous times, had the mafia attempted to recruit him alongside his brother. While certainly still training, no argument was made that the bat faunus was already more than capable of making his presence know in a fight between average criminals. Numerous times they failed over the next three years. In the meantime, Lyras continued to grow, and his brother, get into ever deeper shit. Early in the summer of his 15th year of life, the path of a life in the mafia took its final toll, with news of his brother being killed. Little more is known about this situation, except that 3 days later, at approximately 4:17 PM, Lyras was apprehended in an exhausted and barely conscious state. Around the corner, a three-story building, upon investigation indeed a crime den, was in shambles and filled with dead bodies. Despite being charged with over 40 accounts of murder, having lost his brother to them, and taken out a major crime faction being searched for the police, as well as his enrollment at Signal, led to the release of Lyras on mere community service. Now moving towards his next step, Beacon, the chaos inside his body only increases, as does his anti socialism. Once only wearing ear buds when training, it is now nearly impossible to find him not having music blaring in ears. Certainly a detriment to team communication, not a detriment to individual fighting skill.
Appearance: Very, very androgynous, both naturally, and on purpose. Appox. 5' 9", lithe, and definitely feminine in form, though notably built enough to make some sense of the role he often will play as simply taking and giving back the hits. His hair is no more helpful than the rest of his body in helping distinguish this, and it should be noted his voice is capable of sounding male (thought, not very deep, and still sort of girly), neutral, and of course feminine. His eyes contrast the black color of his hair, by being a bright yellow/green.

COMBAT INFORMATION
Weapon: Your average sword + shield combo. Thought both are, at least, partially, made of metal, both have small crystals made into them, and are linked together directly through his semblance. The sword may turn into a shield, the shield a sword. Or alternatively, the sword into a sword surrounded by glowing purple energy thats shoots bullets of kinetic force.
Appearance: An almost silver-looking color, crystal in the blade just above the hilt of the sword, and in the middle of the round shield. Otherwise, they look completely average and normal.
Capabilities: Close combat, long/mid range attack, having their strength significantly enhanced by the ability to control kinetics by its user.

Semblance: Singularity : Dark as his soul may be, it has an interesting connection to the universe. This allows the ability to, given the attainment of certain parameters, manipulate kinetic energy to a certain degree. The semblance also touches heavily on the intense conflict between mind and soul within his body, Light and Dark. The incredible chaotic infighting means Lyras' control, and power when using kinetics is severely reduced. However, the chaos can be circumvented, by a two-tier state, one appropriately named 'Yin and Yang', where after taking a certain amount of damage, the Darkness and Light beating each other senseless momentarily fight together while still hating each other. This increases strength considerably, however, still leaves a lack of unity creating a vulnerable weakness. The second tier gives the name of his semblance 'Singularity', which occurs when Lyras has sustained beyond critical damage, and should probably actually be dead. Rather than death, the previous Yin and Yang stage enters into a hyperdrive mode, both forces being compelled so strongly by will to survive, that they practically become the same thing. The Singularity stage massively increases strength from the Yin and Yang stage, and along with the kineticism, solidifies Lyras' role as a sort of tanking force, due to the increased everything.

Yin and Yang stage has mostly minor effects, for a mostly minor gain. Results after this are pretty average. Exhaustion, occasionally dizziness, mild confusion, and bi polarism on a level that the word 'infuriating' does not properly cover.

Singularity has drastic effects, for drastic gain. Among the above, it is almost certain to cause severe bouts of depression, random violence, self harm, and in some cases, mild insanity and hallucinations, until such time the energy has recovered to a stable capacity.

I got no idea. Frankly, for Lyras, he and i are more concerned about mastering his aura. Since, well, he has a good grip on combat anyway, he needs work with aura.

For now it seems to be enough because I've already supposedly created a class, so the current amount is fine. And the rest, history, combat and grimm identification studies are actually canonical, so we don't need others.
