My favourite is probably a tie between Stormbreaker and Scorpia rising, purely because it shows his change as a charcter from 1 to 9. (Anthony wrote about this in the end of Stormbreaker)

He gets a lot darker over the course of the series... At the beginning the deaths are all accidents or someone else's fault, and then at the end

he's just standing there watching Razim sink into the salt pile and die a horrible death, doing nothing to help him(although after what happened to Jack, I can't really blame him), and shot Julius, and he's practically desensitized to it all...
