They are 100% made up 'aura techniques' with the cliche story of being ancient and only man knowing all of them and only like 3 alive knowing they even exist at all.

Well, at first, Theriam wasn't using his power on Grimm, since I just transferred him from my own book to this RP, but the thing is, his rusting semblance will get stronger drastically for reasons I shall not display for now, and it will get on the organic side of things, however, he can melt, just as Heamet can, the Grimm with his fighting style, his is rather defensive and ranged as it usually passes through things before getting to the target, however, the ripples unleashed by the power literally melt the Grimm and he can even come to tame a Grimm by himself, something he did during the initiation.

His power is fueled by his Aura and is called the Ripple, one of the three arts of Aura (Ripple, Spin and Stand.), the ripple mainly focuses on healing although it's used to repel Grimm, usually, the Aura changes and is something that comes from the sun, activated by a certain way of breathing and channeled by his blood, so basically, it's a magical sun energy that boosts Aura depending on the way you breathe, however, no one uses it anymore and the only known users alive at the time of the RP are both Leonard and Theriam, Leonard teaches it in special classes that are optional.

The usual attacks with the Ripple are called Overdrives, the usual ones are:

-Sunlight yellow overdrive: Highly powerful on the long term, usually used in very quick jabs to exterminate or pacify a big Grimm. User's body heat exponentially augments.
-Scarlet Overdrive: If something is held while the overdrive is in action, it can catch fire, be it someone or something, used to burn or pacify medium sized grimm, like Ursas.
-Water Turquoise Overdrive: Used underwater and only underwater, creates a small water current that has the same properties of the normal overdrive, mostly used for offensive purposes and in the very rare cases of an underwater Grimm, if the overdrive is powerful enough it can empty a small lake.
-Overdrive: Used without channeling anything, makes small bursts of heat through the body to boost the person and/or channel the Ripple through a grimm to kill it.

However, Heamet uses another form of it. The Spin, but I won't explain it right now.

By the way, Theriam has a broken leg, healed in the most part, but it still restrains his movement.

I'm going to put two facts about both the Stand and the Spin.

Spin:
Your own fingernails can be used as makeshift bullets for Spin infused movement and attacks. (Only available with Spin: ACT 3)
The Spin focuses on numbing the target and if the target is killed, it will be painless.

Stand:

Biography: A young girl from Atlas, Mentari was born to a couple that owned a gadget shop, where she learned about the many beauties of technology. She's also rather fit, as she always goes to school on foot. With this, she was able to join Atlas' huntsman academy, bringing along with her Eclipse, a weapon she created with love.

Eventually, a business opportunity appeared for the Nachtmann family, and they moved to Vale, where Mentari had to re-enroll to the nearest academy. Unknowingly, Mentari's teammate, Charlotte Noble, awakened Purnama, the result of a childhood accident, and allowed her to take control of Mentari's body. Eventually, Mentari was able to regain control, but this left Purnama still active in her mind, which meant that two auras were occupying the same body.
Personality: Loves technology, but is also willing to talk about the latest in normal life. She's a hardworking girl with an eager taste for knowledge.

COMBAT INFORMATION
Weapon: Eclipse
Appearance: Dual forked swords, both of which are night black with a streak of yellow running down the two middles.
Capabilities: As a normal weapon, Eclipse is a pair of swords. It can transform into Sonnenring when joined, a large throwing star that can return to its master when called upon. Further more they take on the form of a large railgun, mounted on the user's shoulder and using dust to project hyper-velocity lasers of death. Following its v2 upgrade, Eclipse is capable of channeling Mentari's semblance, and can also split into four blades that can be controlled through hand movements after turning into Sonnenring.

Semblance: Blinding - She is surrounded in a blinding aura of light, making anyone looking at her lose their vision for some time.

Well you think the Spin is worthless because you haven't seen what it could do.

But since no one is going to use it, I wonder if I should still bother explaining it.
But sure, I'll go ahead and explain the Spin once again.

The Spin is a way to control your aura through rotating motions, it is capable of healing through pain numbing and spinning things back into place, such as a twisted finger that you would put back where it was originally, for instance, if you touched someone using the Spin, you could numb their senses such as vision or touch so they could have a hard time walking or seeing, however, that example is quite advanced.

You can also use it for attack and through enough energy manage to transfer it to something, which is quite often the nails or something that is shaped like a ball so it can retain the force for longer.
For instance, when you use your nails, the force usually generated on them is enough to propel them like a machine gun towards the opponent, however, they can be thrown at the user as well to create holes within them to move their body parts in different locations, however, that is only accessible from the third 'Act' of the Spin.

As you've probably noticed, to use the art, you need to be in movement, henceforth if you cannot move anything like your legs or arms or even head, the power contained in you will drastically lower, even having only a leg withheld is enough to cut down your power by fifty percent.

There is also the last 'Act' of the Spin, Act 4, that holds the Golden Spin, able to shoot through dimensions, however, you need to be on something that moves for you to manage it, such as a car, a horse, or a hoverboard.
It works better with a horse since for it to be activated, the horse needs to get to what is called a natural speed, its speed if it started running when he was wild.

The Ripple is a way of handling Aura based on using Ripples from your actions.

It is an energy harnessed by your Aura the main energy coming by the sun, transmitted through your blood with heat and activated through a certain way of breathing.

As the explanations showed, the Ripple had several types of Overdrives to use, of course, they change from time to time depending on the imagination of the user.
It can only be transmitted through an object or a body part for instance and is most often used as somewhat of a healing technique to numb the pain away, however, unlike the Spin it can actually heal someone of mild illnesses or some mild wounds such as internal shocks or respiratory problems.
For instance, if someone happened to have a heart attack, you'd be able to calm the heart down and (very lightly) regenerate the dead tissues.

For offensive purposes, the healing part is useful as well, as you can, for instance, dislocate your shoulder to hit something far away and get your arm back without any pain or for instance, hit faster and better by using the Ripple as somewhat of a buffing technique.
(It does not, however, boost your bone resistance, hence why Theriam is now half dead.)

For other purposes, you can for instance walk on water by changing the density of the water created by your ripples, hence the name or create a small yet quite powerful current of electricity by manipulating your personal magnetic field, for normal people it is infinitely inferior to a Ripple user.
You can also 'magnetize' things around you such as leaves for example to create a makeshift glider.

The Stand however is the most unstable of all and can't properly be described as the form and abilities of one changes with the person.

A Stand's power is measured by five criterias: Power, Speed, Range, Development potential, Durability and Precision.
They are ranked by letters going from A, Very high, to E, Very low.

For range, the ranking go as follows:
A: Hundred meters and more
B: Fifty meters
C: Twenty meters
D: Ten meters
E: Two meters
However, the bigger the distance between the user and the Stand, the lower its power will be.
Usually, the lower ranged Stands are the strongest power wise.

The development potential is basically how broken it can get or how abusable it is, if a Stand's development potential is at E, the Stand has very slim chances of evolving and the user will have a harder time finding new ways of using the Stand, it decreases as the user finds new ways of using their Stand.

The durability is mostly shown through how long the Stand can be active or how long the Stand can receive punishment before its user falls unconscious or dies, it measures the Stand's endurance and level of susceptibility to damage and attacks. This category may also gauge the effectiveness of their power's ability of binding toward physical objects.

The Stand in itself can be obtained either through inner talent, extreme psychological trauma (Not all the time), practice or artificially through the Arrow.
It is a representation of the user's will, and can change if the user's persona changes big time, hence why Leonard is able to 'switch' between Stands.
Some users of the Ripple can also develop one through extreme practice and dozens of years of meditation.

Stand abilities are much like Semblances, only much weaker, to a first year student, a Stand ability is extremely powerful but through time, they are limited and will be overpowered by normal semblances hence why one shouldn't rely on it too much in a fight.

For instance:

Star Platinum
User: Leonard (Rage persona)
Ability: Stop time for a maximum of two seconds, enhanced strength.
Power: A
Range: E
Precision: A
Development potential: C
Speed: A
Durability: C

This one is rather balanced for anyone and is probably the typical Stand you'll see, although they may not hold abilities that powerful.

Some Stands can also carry weapons or armor that do not affect the user when broken.
Apart from that, any wound suffered by the Stand will carry on to the User and vice versa.
If the Stand is destroyed, the user dies, and vice versa.
