Returning to the hallway, Caine started cleaning up the mess from reopening the entrance. "Step aside please," he said to the students in the hallway. Robot arms descended from above the ceiling tiles and started sweeping up the chunks of plaster. He didn't have to worry about the elevator, since there was no way for it to be opened from the hallway. Caine had to specifically give the command to open it. Even then, there were several other failsafes to make sure no students entered the underground without permission.

ETHAN

Ethan moved away from the robot arms, which started cleaning up the plaster. Ethan walked into his dorm and sat on his bed, sighing. He pulled out the breadboard and worked on replacing the fried capacitor, and modifying the circuit. [i]Today has been fascinating,[/i] he thought. For better, and for worse.

The two students were taken to a small, windowless room. A metal door was in the corner. "That's fine, he can come I suppose," Caine said. "Now you'll want to go through that door, and you'll be on a metal gantry that will take you throughout the underground. Just go through the door, don't go any further, because I want to give you a tour."

Jack hears a rumbling, that wakes his from his state. He sits up and rubs his eyes. "What the..." Getting up, he throws his shoes on. Walking down the hall, he sees Erebus. "What was that?"

Shortly after they got to the room Erebus sent a message to jack who had asked him something shortly before he and Zayne headed down. HE said through Jacks' shadow "sorry for ignoring you but I was kind of engrossed with exploring the underground. Caine said he had been remodeling so I decided to take a look im sure if you want he can send the elevator back up for you," While keeping a link with Jack, Erebus walked to the Metal gantry beyond the door and waited after telling Caine " some other people might want to come down here also if you want to send the elevator back up for them"

"Alright, I'll send the elevator back up. They'll have to tell me if they're coming or not, since I can't leave the doors open. Until I get done with that, don't open the door. Protocol requires me to keep all failsafes active when I am not present in the area, so if you go through the door you might get shot." Caine sent the elevator back up but kept the doors closed.

With a loud detonation, a chunk of an elevator shaft broke off from the rest and tumbled into the pitch black depths.

After Erebus sent the message to jack and inferred that He wasn't coming down Erebus sawq that Zayne had went ahead with out him. "sorry about that my mind was elsewhere." he said. Erebus then went out onto the gantry and for a second marvelled slightly at the size of the Cavern. he waited for Caine's response to Zayne as he wanted to know that as well.

But those really important experiments, when they are finished, are printed on paper, the data is deleted, and the files are stored miles underground in a vault that even I am unable to access without the principal and other official's permission. The experiments themselves are eradicated. My general procedure is incineration followed by bathing the area in acid. In my many years of operation, there has not been a single breach into any sensitive files. And besides. Looking at the math, odds are the clones will not have superpowers."

After the whole deal with Zayne, Erebus, Alice and Julian, Lucien needed time to think. Walking outside, he found a nice spot overlooking the waters. Sitting down, he thought about the simulation, what he did and what he could've done differently. His actions saved more people than they killed, and that was a plus for him. Luke didn't really care if one person was burned to a crisp, the need of the many and whatnot.

Lucien closed his eyes, running his hand through his hair and sighing.
