Zayne had just finished remodeling his Shadow Realm and then opened a portal back to his dorm room. He saw Erebus was at his computer and that there were traps on the floor on Erebus' side of the room. "Don't worry," Zayne said "I'm not going to try to hurt you for interfering. If anything you helped me out in a way."

[WHYYYY]

Ethan laughed at the music comment. "M-my hobbies?" What are my hobbies? "I b-build electronics," he said, taking out the circuit supplies he'd brought with him to the island.

He looked over and saw she was preparing to play her violin. She played a short melody, then looked over at him. He smiled encouragingly. She said something about sleeping and resumed playing.

He laughed, confused, then listened to her play. I've never been a fan of violin, but she's good at that, he thought. As he listened, he worked on the half finished circuit set up on the breadboard before him.

Heiwa finished off with the song she was playing and sighed happily, like a caffeine addict or a smoker getting their first fix after a long time.
"Its been quite a while since I've been able to play without making people sleep or do whatever else the song's telling them to do. I was working on figuring out how to turn it off the night they snatched me. Obviously before they kidnapped me, I mean I'm good, but sleep time is not for figuring out the complexities of audio-psychological soundwave manipulation." She replied, stringing a bunch of words together in order to sound smart.
"And your ears aren't bleeding so we avoided any hiccups thankfully. Ruining that song would have been so maddening!"
She said and turned to look at his electronics,
"Oooh, fancy. What does it all do? Do you think they'll let us buy stuff in here?"

Ethan applauded when she finished her song. He was slightly taken aback by her description of what the songs normally do. "I don't know much about that, but my ears aren't bleeding, and I'm not asleep. So that was a success. You're great at that," he said, smiling slightly and indicating towards the violin.

"Oh, this?" He asked, nodding towards the circuit. "This is supposed to be a multimeter that can measure the strength of my electrical pulses, since normal ones just get fried." He snapped one last capacitor in place. "I've been having difficulty building a meter strong enough to register my pulses without exploding," he said, embarrassed.

"They have a storage room in the dorm buildings where you can grab bedding and clothes and stuff," he answered. "I'm not sure about other stuff. You may wanna ask Caine."

Caine had finished hooking Julian up to various monitors and IVs when he saw Erebus was messaging him. "Ah, yes, don't worry about that. I was just doing some... remodeling... underground here. You're in no danger."

After Responding to Zayne, Erebus was curious about the remodeling so he sent another message to C.A.I.N.E. which said " Remodeling? what kind of remodeling, I didn't realize that anything big was in the Underground."

Caine had finished hooking Julian up to various monitors and IVs when he saw Erebus was messaging him. "Ah, yes, don't worry about that. I was just doing some... remodeling... underground here. You're in no danger."

After Responding to Zayne, Erebus was curious about the remodeling so he sent another message to C.A.I.N.E. which said " Remodeling? what kind of remodeling, I didn't realize that anything big was in the Underground."

"Oh, not much. I'm running cooling pipes around the area, so that rumble a minute ago was me demolishing several elevator shafts. I get bored down here, so I have a bad habit of constantly reconstructing areas of the facilities down here. And then I was preparing an area where I need to build a facility to attend to some... experiments I'm working on..." Caine replied to Erebus.

Oliver runs up to her and looks worried. "Hey, are you OK?" he says, "I'm sorry for asking that question, I didn't know it was so personal."

Justice put her hands on his shoulders and closed her eyes, deciding if she was going to explain now. I have to do this.
"I did have a boyfriend," she blurts out. "But now he probably thinks I ran away to Canada again. I want to be with you, Oliver, please don't get mad because of this."

"Hey, it's alright" Oliver says, patting her on the back, "Look, I don't care if you have a boyfriend or not. I just wanted to know. I'm not going to dump you just because of that. It's all good".

Caine was surprised to see Julian had awoken. "Hello," he said softly. "Your condition was beyond the resources in the first aid area, so I'm taking you to a more advanced hospital underground. I'll be able to keep you stable down there."

Julian looked around the room to see the IVs and the monitors in the room he was in. "L'Averti Medicaments........" he spat out, trying to say something.

"So," Caine started, keeping an eye on the boys vitals. "I took a sample from some blood you vomited up. And I noticed something interesting. All throughout your blood is an interesting, and abnormal, mix of chemicals. They're not naturally occurring compounds either. Do you know anything about that?" He gently tried to get Julian to talk about the situation at hand.

"Thank you kind sir. Usually the problem is my powers, they go haywire when I'm playing sometimes, so the sound becomes hypnotic, or deafening, or disappears all together."
She said before he began his explanation of the device in front of him.
Right! He does the electricity thing.
"Ooooh, that can most definitely get frustrating. Do your pulses have the same effect as an electromagnetic pulse or is it more like a simple pulse of static? So, anti-zappy, or pro-zappy? Which is it?"
She asked curiously.
"Its more music supplies I need to get. I'm eventually going to need new linseed oil for the bow, and if a string snaps, heaven forbid, I'd need to replace it. Also, I really, really wanna buy a pack of cookies. Preferably chocolate chip . . . Yummmm . . . LONG LIVE CHOCOLATE CHIP! DEATH TO THE RAISIN DECEIVERS!"
She yelled with a giggle, not really caring about the stares she'd get. We're they really going to complain that the person whose powers were echokinesis, was being to noisy?

When she moved on to his powers, he considered it for a minute, then replied, "Its essentially just completing a circuit and putting some of the electricity in my body into another person. I can adjust the strength if necessary, from barely feeling it to being enough to knock somebody unconscious. If I try hard enough, I can control basic systems, and just overload other computer systems. But that nearly kills me..." he trailed off.

"As for the supplies, I'm sure you can talk to Caine about the violin stuff, and he'll see what he can do. And I'm hoping they'll serve cookies someday at this cafeteria," he said, chuckling.

There should be an old entrance nearby. I'll see if I can bring it back online." Out in the hall close to Erebus's dorm, a section of the wall shook, cracked, and shattered, revealing an old-looking elevator. A robot arm attached to the elevators side appeared to have broken the wall.

"You'll take the elevator down a little ways, and then you'll have to take the scenic underground tour via stairs."

"Hmm... alright. I synthesized a small amount of the chemical. If this is the serum you're talking about, injecting you with it should improve your condition." A robot arm holding a syringe containing a small amount of clear fluid descended from the ceiling. "Do you want me to inject you with it?"

"Go ahead." Julian said lift his left arm. He looked away from the syringe. "If it doesnt work, I might be in serious trouble." he muttered weakly.

With Julian's permission, the robot arm slowly descended towards the boys arm. It centered itself around a nerve, then poked into his arm and injected the chemical. Withdrawing the needle, another robot arm swabbed the puncture point and put a bandage on it.

Jack hears a rumbling, that wakes his from his state. He sits up and rubs his eyes. "What the..." Getting up, he throws his shoes on. Walking down the hall, he sees Erebus. "What was that?"

Heiwa listened intently to his explanation of his powers. It was an interesting concept, quite different to the way her powers functioned. Basically she ran the soundwaves around her through her own mental software in a way, editing the volume or overlaying the hypnotic frequency. So far, that was the limits of it.
"I see, so technically, you could use your powers to kill someone or resuscitate them. Depending on how you applied the power. Huh, many of the interestings."
She said and bit her lip as she thought. He had a lot of potential to be a hero, she had no idea what this meant to her, but a small part of her, the part that was monitoring what things meant in the long run was cautious of his powers. They would only grow stronger, and she might have to face them someday. For now though she didn't care, she grinned broadly and stood,
"That is so interesting! I'm surprised I actually understand what you're saying, but I guess my physics teacher was wrong. Not everything was lost on me! Haha!"
She said triumphantly. Then she remembered the reason she had stood,
"But I must away, I need to try track down a dorm and roommate somewhere. Oh gosh I really hope there's a girl with a free bed . . ."
She said, murmuring the last bit softly. Not eager to share her room with the opposite gender.
She picked up her violin and rushed onwards, pausing quickly to give Ethan half a hug because he was sitting,
"Try not to pop this meter too hmm? And relax a little when you get the chance."
She said happily and bounded off at top speed with her violin and bow in hand.

Zayne was intrigued by the underground section of the school, also to find out what kind of experiments Caine was doing down there. "Hey Erebus, mind if I go with you? I've got nothing to do for a while so I'm kind of bored."

You're back. Yes I am. And I've had a revelation. Though we may be the same person, that doesn't mean I can't hate you. It just means I also hate myself. Oh. Glad you've had that epiphany, Ethan thought sarcastically. He frowned.

Turning back to his circuit, he grabbed two wire leads and pulsed. About halfway through the circuit, a capacitor cracked and smoke trickled out. Ethan groaned Still can't handle a pulse, he thought, disappointed. Deciding there was nothing left to interest him in this cafeteria, Ethan stood up and walked back to his dorm. He saw chunks of plaster littering the floor, and a large hole in the wall. Erebus and Zayne were standing before it. Ethan strode up to join them, quietly raising an eyebrow at the broken wall.

Caine was relieved to see Julian's vitals stabilizing slightly. "Don't worry, I'm already making more," he told the boy. In a moment, he would have enough serum generated to fill an IV tube. "I will keep you here for a while longer until I can make more serum, and I can make sure you're going to be stable. Eventually I should have enough serum synthesized so you can just stop by the first aid area at each meal and get an injection."

Justice put her hands on his shoulders and closed her eyes, deciding if she was going to explain now. I have to do this.
"I did have a boyfriend," she blurts out. "But now he probably thinks I ran away to Canada again. I want to be with you, Oliver, please don't get mad because of this."

The two students were taken to a small, windowless room. A metal door was in the corner. "That's fine, he can come I suppose," Caine said. "Now you'll want to go through that door, and you'll be on a metal gantry that will take you throughout the underground. Just go through the door, don't go any further, because I want to give you a tour."
