When Heiwa finished playing her song, Ethan applauded. "G-good job!" he said, smiling. He walked over to the table she was sitting on and hopped up next to her. "W-where did you learn to play that?"

She blinked. "Is that the hospital?" She kept moving, getting farther and farther down. "I'm not going to get shot at, am I?" That would be painful, although it would be a great ventilation system.

"NO!!! No, no, that is NOT the hospital," Caine cried out. The drone bumped her back gently, to usher her along. "That is... a storage area... not much important stuff there," he lied.

She nodded, clearly unconvinced. You're a bad liar. If there wasn't anything important, why did you react like that, and why are there automatic turrets, hmm, dear sweet HIVEmind? What are you hiding? She resolved that one day she would find out.

She said with a chuckle and tucked her bow into her sock.
"Just felt like playing something now that I've worked out how to avoid zombifying the audience."

There, Julian slept, an IV of serum in his arm.

Caine didn't care for the curiosity Alice had shown for that guarded room. He quickly demolished the path leading to it. Everything kept in that... 'storage room' was now inaccessible, save for somebody who could fly. He let Alice stay with Julian, and continued destroying the elevator shafts.

Ethan laughed. "Well, it w-worked. Seems like you've made d-dinner a little more interesting." I thought of a fun game. It's called: Kill Everybody You Care About. I think you'll be good at it. Start with this lady, and move on to the others. Ethan sighed when he heard the voice again.

She said cheerfully and shifted on the table to look at Ethan. When he asked her to guess she bit her lip and looked up at the ceiling for a bit,
"Escargot, honey-glazed german gammon and tripe?"
She asked with a grin.
"Or brains with various human innards as toppings? I could do with some brain right now . . ."
She said with a giggle and a wistful sigh. Soon classes would start in earnest and she'd have new teachers to ignore.

Julian said waking up.

Julian sat up a bit, his torso still hurt from all the cough and blood. "Like I coughed up my lungs." The blood still stained his jaw, chest, and hands. "I hope I didnt scare you with that episode."

She said and giggled loudly before turning to Ethan,
"Well, at least us insane people have each other around for laughs."
She said and gently punched his shoulder.

Caine heard Alice still talking about the room. I messed up this time, he thought. The rails attaching the room to the wall didn't go down any further, and Caine couldn't risk dropping the room into the abyss. He just hoped Alice's curiosity would be dampened by the security forces.

He checked over the various renovations going on. Most of the pipes he was placing had been attached, so the elevators could be rebuilt soon. The clone testing room was finished, and drones were moving in the equipment. The Central AI Room was making progress, but it would take a while longer to finish.

She said and stood up from the table.
"I'm going to go find my dorm and hit the hay. I'm way to tired for more death threats."
She said and hugged Ethan before leaving,

She yelled and dashed off with her violin in hand. Upon reaching the dorms she picked up her bag she had left at the door and looked around. Then she remembered the AI,
"Uuuuum, Weird cat guy who's surprisingly friendly for a computer? Caine? You there? Can you tell me where Alice's dorm is, I'm rooming with her and I need some sleep. Your kidnappy pals interrupted my benchrest pretty bad."
She said with a tired giggle and another yawn.

Ethan blushed when Heiwa hugged him. Before she could say anything, she had already run out of sight. He raised an eyebrow. I guess I should be getting back too, Ethan thought, checking his watch. He slowly stood up and walked towards the dorm complex.

"Of course, Heiwa, I would be happy to guide you to your dorm," Caine replied to the girl. "Seventh door on the left."

Returning to the hospital, Caine watched the two talk. When the conversation lulled, Caine decided to speak. "I'm glad to see you're awake, Julian. You should be going back tomorrow morning, so the serum can have time to work. I've generated enough to last you a long time." He thought for a moment, then said, "Forgive me, but may I wipe your face and hands down? Protocol won't let me leave blood on a patient. It's a health hazard." A robot arm extended from the ceiling holding an alcohol pad.

"Of course, Heiwa, I would be happy to guide you to your dorm," Caine replied to the girl. "Seventh door on the left."

Heiwa smiled and skipped down the corridor,
"Thank you Fluffy."
She said cheerfully upon entering the room. She dumped her bag on the floor by the empty bed and immediately slid into the bed. She was too tired for anything else. No sooner had her head rested on the pillow and she was asleep.

Fluffy? Caine thought, confused. These students certainly enjoy coming up with nicknames for me. He scanned over the room briefly, noticing her violin. That will need supplies to maintain it. And since it seems to be an important part of her powers, it'd be a shame to see it break. In one of the underground classrooms was a small music room, for any students that were inclined to practice. It had a little shelf with instrument supplies in it. Caine withdrew a small bottle of linseed oil and other materials to maintain a violin, bringing them up to Heiwa's room and setting them on her desk. I'll have to order more, he thought.
