Okay, sorry to do this, to be the freaking Devil's Advocate and to be a Dick-Tator, but I have Finn, Drak, Rel and Karso to guide along as a DM/OP. Not forgetting the others like Raktio, RoE and even Zoblus and Tracian. (Think I got most of the last actives/interested ones?)

If Albercio's involvement is going to slow the party (Which is the main of a couple of plotlines for this RP), he'll be given 2 warnings before being Marked for Death. It's 12.30am here, When I wake up for 'prime time' as described by Rel (7 hours from this post), either have Albercio's post up and the Party done with the ritual by the next five hours so Drak can respond, and Finn can carry sleeping Rel forward with the party, and Karso can provide his input too (He's mainly a support char for now, but he posts when needed during Prime Time too)

That'll be warning one. Warning two is if no progression is made by 10pm Central, or 12pm GMT. Thus Albercio would get spirited away by OverPowered Magic. (Sorry, pun intended)

(Which could have been settled earlier. I dont mind Albercio doing crap and spicing things up in the IC [Hey, I was looking forward to an Alby showdown this morning] but have little tolerance when the Poster isn't catching up with what he started, and I'm seeing Ry, Drak, Finn, Rel and Karso, online at the same time.).

So for a steady flow to be achieved, and a continued rate of interest so we can throw our ideas in, please respond to the IC promptly, so we of different timezones can make use of a unified Night/Day window to proceed with the IC. We lost a weekend, albeit most of us are busy on the Saturday, and the weekdays are always busier, so please.

*Main party Prime Time = 6pm to 10pm Central Time // 8am to 12pm GMT +8.
(I understand some might be having shut-eye during this period. But out of it, I'm GMT Time, so we can continue to coordinate and post to keep the IC going. Ausworthar's going thru a busy patch now, so most of his plans are initiated by me during Prime Time should it affect the Party.)

That'll be nice. Can I have a repost on the Odrysians and their strength / powerbase ? Might be a good balance to counter the other Houses in the plotlines I have going with the players.

Also, readied a really juicy plotline involving the players, main and sub. Not planning to leave anyone out, Character RPer or Nation RPer. Just need your involvement for this.


nevermind, saw the App. Only issue is that they will be slightly inferior to the standard troop because of their Military to Pop Ratio (Medieval Ratios are closer to 5-7% of troops), but your Specialised Guard will show their strength.

I can understand that, but dont forget the costs of maintaining and equipping, as well as feeding a professional army. I'd suggest a review of troops to a 5-7% cap of the population in the future, since we do wish for an RP where a realistic economy and industry is running, that WAR and Levying of troops actually hurt the people, cause devastation and chaos, and leads to greater scheme of things, rather than an "Oh I deploy all my troops and levy others, and my nation's still going strong.".

I dont need such intricacies, and am just asking for a number's review, just as I'm reviewing Sharp, Odrysia and Moruzzo (I''m assuming that 20k would be rough boys, hardly men, ill equipped and stuff). Will be looking over Cotalli soon.

If RoE and Zoblus are still interested, do make an update as well, and we can get this damn war and bloodshed under way for the glory of the Demon General

That's some fierce OPing. I'm inclined to agree with the Numbers too. Also, in the future Mercenaries would not be a bottomless pit of several thousands to magically appear. We need improvement in that area of RPing. But although I'm experienced in nation-RPs, decided to stick to lovely Haruna for this

Here is a modern estimate, with much better technology and logistical support too. Although modern percentages tend to be lower than medieval, Medieval troops are usually levies who are called up from the farms and labours to go to war. Gone are the period of Roman Professionalism (And they have a low percentage of Troops/Pop too)

I'm giving Odrysia, Sharp and Cotalli a slight exception as they are 'named' Houses. Feel free to expand your populations to a cap of 100,000 and work on the military from there. For the Cotalli, they have even more specific roles, so more exception will be granted them from the normal Human race of Central Tych. Remember, it took the Entire Tych to subjugate them. Now a fractured Tych, expect things to be much more harder to scale against Mitz & Cos

Well, so it's a trial of combat for Alby. Does this take him out of the picture temporarily? If so Ry can focus on the Doge's preparations for Moruz, and the party might be able to fast forward to the Capital or take a rest. It's up to DM Drak now

And Alb, you're going to be provided a wooden stick for the match. You'll need to beat your opponent into submission, and the loser of the match gets sacrificed. Any sort of poison would just anger the people even more so.
