Ten years ago, as Oliver made plans to usurp the Kingdom, the Night Blades are formed. Initially a group of three people, they soon expanded into seven, then twenty. Moving about the cities, they recruited urchins for espionage, on-the-loose killers as assassins, and wandering mercenaries as moles within the hired-blade circles. After their establishment of cells Seven years ago, they began a rare scouting and recruitment program, while still staying under the eyes of the Ana-Ga. Five years ago, they came across a burnt village, where the two leaders, Klaudius Konovalov and Selven Klinge, found a man near death. While they usually do not pay attention, Klaudius felt death radiate from the body. Not his death, but the element of death radiating from the body. Zoran Kaverosky, healed and patched up, eventually joined the Night Blades.

The Night Blades are split into two specialised branches. The Shadow Blades focused on assassinations, espionage and political influencing, while the Doppelsoldners focus on the mercenary circles. Doppelsoldners differ from the standard assassin branches as they can wield a variety of weapons and are trained to fight with heavy armour, giving them the perfect cover to serve in mercenary groups, with the chance of overpowering their own comrades and killing a target.

Warfare against the Ana-Ga happened on the night of Oliver's usurping, as every Night Blade received communiques via swifts, birds with the fastest mean traveling speed. Immediately the Ana-Ga were either forced into service with the Night Blades, or they will be killed. Not all Night Blades were successful, as several families, the Daggersons for example, managed to escape and flee before the Shadow Blades or Doppelsoldners could relocate personnel.

It was rumoured that Klaudius himself initiated the poisoning of the Tychian guards, and Selven leading Oliver's men to slaughtering the group. Oliver decided to allow his goons to go for the Prince, however, insisting that Klaudius provide personal protection of his self. While still a Night Blade, Zoran's capabilities were not utilized in the Palace, him being assigned to watch for escapees instead, therefore allowing him to kill one of his personal targets, while keeping an eye on the Party.

A highly skilled martial character, he was forced to join the Night Blades when they kidnapped his childhood friend, who was actually a Night Blade herself. Disillusioned with the Chaos in the world, Zilkin carries out his duties to the very end, with a knowledge that fate would eventually catch up to him. His harsh training of Zoran has several motives - To train his successor when he was eventually killed, and to train Zoran to be his killer.

What was not known, was that the Night Blades were the ones supporting the bandits, and the capture of Haynes and Kaminsky was to select potential recruits for the Guild.

Rebekah and Zilkin were good friends and sparring partners since young, and when Rebekah was knighted at the age of 20, Zilkin himself presented her a sword. Both a weapon of knighthood and a token of marriage, they did not see their dreams come true as Haynes was overrun a year later. Raped, tortured and brainwashed, the Night Blades learned of Zilkin through others, and her cries of help. With this information, they turned her to their side, acting as saviors and giving her proper treatment from the bandits, slowly molding her mind to fit their ideals. When Zilkin returned with Royalist reinforcements, a broken, depressed girl was all that's left of the once proud Knight. Swearing revenge on the Royal Family, she slowly poisoned the mind of Zilkin, influencing him to join the Night Blades for the revenge of House Haynes after getting him surrounded, acting as the victim of a kidnapping.

Rebekah is the most proficient in martial combat among the three Low Commanders. Due to her skill set, She has never carried out an assassination in the dark, but has killed plenty of targets during mercenary assignments.

IC Information for Relikai- Rebekah and Haruna fought side-by-side during the defence of a caravan two years ago. The mission was actually a lure for the bandits to attack, and by biting the bait, Rebekah confirmed the identity of their employer, and proceeded to kill the merchant and all witnesses once their contract was over.

While there is a possibility of many Apps, my main Character is still, Zoran. Purely on the OOC, you might even encounter IC infighting and characters dying to each other due to a clash of ideals and personal reasons. I came up with this concept due to the chance of action moving even in the backgrounds. For example, Edward might encounter one of the leaders, escape, and a week or month later, find out that the person has been killed. A dynamic world where even villains who are usually 'plot-invincible' are as vulnerable as the party itself.

Male or female?: Male.
Appearance: Usually six foot one, very pale skin, fairly muscular build. Cold to the touch, brown hair, blue eyes, framed in an angular and masculine face. Vampiric face, when active, is far older, and the inner ugliness of the vampire demon is externalised. Canines are elongated, face is wrinkled and inhuman.

Breif background: Silas began as a City Watchman in a bygone city and kingdom. He was a model Watchman and skilled fighter, and would go to great lengths to capture quarry. He also worked with his twin sister, who also served the Watch due to a natural affinity for combat even better than his own. One night, the two followed a man they witnessed killing a woman in an alley. They followed the man to an old and abandoned building, which turned out to be a nest of vampires. The two Watch members fought valiantly, but were utterly outmatched by the crowd of supernatural killers. After their deaths, they rose a day afterwards with a thirst for blood.

Profession(what do they do): Mercenary work, performing murders and assassinations for the highest bidder, also tracking quarry with supernaturally enhanced senses. All Silas requires is a free hand to murder those he encounters on the way and a hefty payment in gold. Many common people and high-profile targets have been slain by his hand, and sucked lifeless by his fangs. For targets who move in daytime, uses sewers, buildings, and thick black covers to circumvent the trouble of sunlight. Has also honed his fighting skills over the centuries.

Are they loyal to any specific house (if yes explain how): No. Works for the highest bidder who will allow a free hand for murder and a large pile of gold. Currently has heart set on serving Oliver as a mercenary. Knows a civil war is coming, and knows there will be blood.

Rp example: As he sucked the last drop of blood from the maiden's veins, Silas dropped her corpse roughly to the ground. He loved to taste the blood of newlyweds. When he fed from them, he felt so much more vitality than the usual victims that were only sustenance. But with these young and healthy victims, their death was his tangible renewal. And the screams were a pleasure, building louder and louder before slowly going quiet as they watched their liquid life drained out of them.

Silas was snapped back into reality by the harsh voice of his sister Selina, who said angrily, "I see you saved me none, brother. My God, you're gluttonous. That's a sin, you know."

Silas laughed loudly and said, "What care I for sin? We're vampires, sister. I thought that after nearly two hundred year, you'd understand we're soulless. Religion has no meaning for us."

As she wiped the blood of the young husband on the sleeve of her black tunic, Selina replied, "I know, Silas. 'Twas a jest."

As he suddenly turned more serious, Silas stated, "Yes. But where we're going is no laughing matter." He then added in an excited voice, "You recall what the food was discussing when we arrived? The civil war brewing in the Tych Kingdom. I believe it's time we returned to our old home. Supposedly King Oliver usurped the throne and is using mercenaries to secure his reign. You know we were skilled fighters during life. Now our speed, strength, and agility are all tripled, and we've been given new driving power by our blood thirst. Oliver would be an idiot to refuse our service."

"Yes," Selina said. "Just think of how he'd repay us. All the gold he'd give, only for us to do what we naturally would. Blood money, brother. It's the best kind."

"It certainly is," Silas agreed. "Now let's depart. We have ground to cover, and it's already half past midnight."

Edward doesnt wanna go on deck ?

Regarding the encounters, I have cleared details with two players already. There will be a Deck Fight, where the party can fight in tandem, and there can be an individual fight.

Individual fights, as they are harder for me to coordinate(jk), do not guarantee death of enemy, not guarantee PC victory.

But of course, how i'd design the Individual fights, there'll have to be a catalyst to explain why it is an individual fight, since the Assassins will prefer to fight on deck

Right, now that we broke into several 'instances', the fights with Mitzhla and Alberto will take precedence over the fight on the top deck. Meaning, the individual fights are to be resolved earlier for the flow to continue. The top deck contains the two stronger individuals, one who is of almost equal ability with Edward, another who is a warrior-mage. Altho your IC chars dont know this, just expect to be hit with several surprises, and the top fight would undoubtly be longer, containing several posts of storyline script.

Haha dont worry. The top fight can always have flavour text. Not good to keep people bored when they're up against tough enemies

I'm assuming you can switch off to combating Loyalist forces for awhile with your party. I'm thinking the two parties will eventually square off, Akame Ga Kill style. Will it end similar to Akame? That's for us to determine

Alberto is the type of guy who let's other's fight larger groups. That and he has a spear wound in the leg which would make him immobile . So that is a no on the deck part.
