Don't you ever relate anyone to someone from Akame Ga Kill ever again. You know damn well what happens to people from that show.[/quote]

Lol I'm hoping it doesn't end that way, at least for Edward :p

[quote="Kanilion wrote:

I'm thinking that currently in melee, Zoran's martial skills are above Edward's mainly due to weapon specializations and choices. With the utilization of magic he would be a match for both Edward and Haruna (Due to weapon skills and selection), therefore an initial 'lone wolf' concept was formed. However this being a roleplay, I am looking forward to Edward increasing his skills and expanding the choices of weapons to match his ranged capability, especially when there's a need to carry one of the main plotlines (Prince). I think Loretta's more leaned to the 'Commoner' type, she not being a skilled fighter or so, just enough for self-defence (But not when surprised, as Aus sent me the draft haha).

Yeah, I can imagine that if it's more of an open environment where Edward can use his ranged weapons such as his bow he'll definitely have that advantage over Zoran.

For future reference, I'd say that any new characters wanting to join in on what we'll call the Party Arc join with Zoran's group. My group is at it's limits to how large it can be, in my opinion. 2 vs. 5 isn't very fair odds :p

5 people will be a challenge to roleplay no doubt, as now an interaction would be waiting on 5 opinions instead of your previous 3.

However, feel free to create your own character arcs. Do not have to join the 'Good' storyline with Edward and Co, nor does your characters have to be chaos manifest or being manipulated by Zoran.

And wait, let me make this simple... 'boat trip' interesting... xD

Is the party interested in ship combat? I can try to make it that the agents incapacitated the crew and tries to assassinate the party. I already have a conclusion to the battle but to stoke the spirit of the Party it'll remain open. I have four disposable characters anyway, and probably the party would have to steer the ship back to port... time for adventure eh?!! Muahaha

I could post a piece for interaction. Not quite sure what to say though. Any suggestions are welcome. And ship combat sounds very good.

He's aboard with us. Our whole party is now, with our 2 new companions.

Also, me and Relikai agreed on what we were planning on those last few posts, so don't worry. Really they were meant to give the other RPers a chance to think about what they wanted to post. Well, that and we both ship Edward and Haruna. If anyone disagrees, we're throwing them off the literal ship :P

If anyone is throwing anyone off the ship it is Alberto since it is part of the sea wolves fleet

Didn't think I had to, since Edward indirectly confirmed me as aboard the ship. Cant post anyway. Have three more hours at work. If someone posts though, I can respond in the late hours of tonight.

I'm playing on the fact that it's a free-trade ship within a Republic, therefore travelers who pay their dues, or landlubbers who offer their services to work may be accepted. I have four people on board, but specifics of the attack isn't totally refined yet, as i'm not wanting a victory on my side, but so the five can showcase a little of their abilities. Will be sending TGs out to a couple of critical characters. In the meanwhile, those who joined the party, feel free to flesh out your characters.

For reference, the others can post about doing whatever they want to flesh out their character more, I just ended my post there because there wasn't much else to post about with Edward until he confronts Zoran's men. I'll wait until Zoran's post to post any more, unless you want to interact with Edward, then in that case I can do some editing.

What part of ship battle exactly, attracts the leviathan? Ship vs Ship? Inter-Ship combat? I'm assuming the chance of Levvy appearing like the chance of a Tarrasque appearing in D&D, a legendary creature but not one that might be met by players on a high-chance random encounter to discourage plot lines.

It depends on food one, the size of fleet two, and the commotion your making. The all factor into how it gets attracted, it's normally set up on trade lanes constantly hungry.

In that case, even with it being a Tychian creature, won't it be more attracted to pirate ships hunting richer merchants on bigger ships, rather than a simple merchant ship doing a run to Cotalli? (Assuming a dynamic world. Is Levvy is extremely active, that sea trade would be more of a risk than a profit, it would end up abolished and the economy restructured to land based inter-city trade you see)

Yes but with the advent of mages the thing can be moved away as sort of a ward against the leviathan. Which has increased the frequency of trade between the islands.

Ah that means that the actual risk is quite low since inter-Tych movement should be warded. Only trade outside of Tych would be at risk.

Didn't miss much, just proceeding from muruzzo, and some budding romance.

Then again if you have a massive fleet and not enough mages your gonna tract the thing, the wards are Ment on,y to disguise people from the leviathan it's hard to disguise and entire fleet if you get what I mean.
