Let me think about it.

My character was born as the bastard of the house which he is currently leading. His father was a merciful man, and he let him live in the castle. Still, he was constantly hated by his stepbrothers and stepsisters, and he never had a happy childhood.

Eventually, something happened, and my character gave a part of his soul to Kronos. He received certain, powers you can call them. He became stronger, and smarter then the average man, and he became extremely good at conspiracies, trickery, and other stuff like that.

What if his bloodline claimed descendence from Kronos, so rather than being directly linked to him, he's sort of evolved a cult of personality revolving around the God. At this point the tradition has gone on for so long, people just accept his blood relation as fact. Perhaps he was also born a healthy baby, and grew up to be strong and studied to be intelligent, which only further solidifies his claim.

If there are any super north places, you should consider an Ijiraq's Circle from Inuit mythology. Basically it's a ring of forest that once entered, you can never escape. If you stay in it too long, you turn in to an Ijiraq, a shapeshifter destined to lure people in to another Circle. You can escape only by being lead out by the Ijiraq that the circle belongs to.

It sounds amazing I'll defiantly be using something like that. The Hunter could be what comes after people once they enter trying to kill them. I'm not sure what the lurker could do I don't really want it be the thing leading people out.
