Where did he say that?
The only thing I can find is the IC post; which suggests that the space thing broke into two pieces while falling.

I may just be hallucinating, but I could have sworn there was another map somewhere with different dots.

New complete map moved into OP. I could have sworn I did so earlier.

Year 10, so soon?
Not now, but I will unload some events in year 12.

Um, G-Tech,
How are you building Terran Forests already?
I thought you needed the terraforming tech first.

That's the Walking Factory's special skill. It can very slowly construct Terran Forests.

So, it can mine, make BP, AND build Terra Forests before its tech...
I applaud you sir on your negotiation skill.

Well, it can harvest one Base Core resource per Quarter, generate 1 BP if it has metal, and acts as a terraformer.

But it costs 2 Petrol to move between Base Nodes, and must be on-site in order to both harvest and build the Forests.

Pretty fair for 2 RP and 5 BP, since it ate up essentially a half year of work.

I'm sure it will more than pay for its costs. Not having to build Perus (or whatever they are called), or being essentally a 'free 1 BP in this base' unit will push you ahead even further.

Mhm. I wish I could build more, but she's an unique unit, so c'est la vie.

Really? I'm suprised it hasnt happend sooner, given that everyone started off with 1000 people. I'm pretty sure, but don't quote me on this, that you need 2000 to prevent inbreeding....

Yeah, theoretically. We probably have folks picked for their genetic diversity though, so that might avoid the issue.

My problem is that I can only gain one population every year, and I'm currently building structures that require people faster than that.

Well, we can always fix the genetic diversity thing with contact.... which could "fix" the problem if relations were friendly enough

That could be an interesting mechanic. There's a dude to my south who might be worth getting in touch with, but I suspect he's inactive. I've been contemplating actually building some thermal troopers and marching them over to subjugate him for his sweet sweet population.

Well actually, if you read literally, most of the high-end victory techs don't actually have any prerequisites.

So theoretically, someone could win the game in 5-7 years.
