Right now the government is leaning towards isolationism though, not true Pro Russian but anti-EU

Heh, we were going to become non relevant if we went to the EU and got invaded, but Ukraine has a high chance at becoming relevant as a CIS country.

You'll probably need NATO/EU to regain the Crimea and have true sovereignty. Ukraine seems unlikely to walk down this road alone since there'll be domestic and external pressure to join either side.

Well if a war ever breaks out we'll be on the Moscow Pact side so I don't think we have to worry about Crimea too much. Plus we might be arming the rest of the alliance soon through Praeter.

But how would just over a year suddenly cause Ukraine to be anti-EU? If anything, the Azov Battalion would've gained more seats in the parliament because they're the only group gaining ground

But how did the UPF get into power then? Most Ukrainians wouldn't vote for a party where the leader if rumoured to have helped the Russians in Crimea
