Of course, he probably shouldn't have assumed the outcome, but still.
I'll reread the passage in question.
"I can do that" He mused, and looked over the pulpit and down at the street. He clenched his hand and watched the convoy as it continued forth, the headlights of the halftrack come on. The city seemed dead outside of the spotlights, and he closed his eyes. His veins on his hand became more apparently and his nostrils flared. His face became a bit red, the cobblestone street would be his best ally. He then, raised his arm without warning, and a cobble stone flew into the tracks of the half track. There was a grinding sound, then a crunching sound before a sudden and loud bang and a snap. The halftrack limped before coming to a slow halt, the germans in the back seemed to look bewildered as the track had snapped and the wheels were bunched together by a large cobble slab. The convoy halted behind it, and like that. The German war machine had hit a snag.
Yeah, this is not ok and I'd like it corrected.
