Bio: Catherine's earliest childhood is lost to the sands of time. What she does know is that her mother was a Wangai Aboriginal from an area in the northern edge of the Nullarbor region, whom a Scottish man fell in love with. Neither their identities nor the name they gave her are known, as they are both dead. They died when she was two due to 'unknown circumstances'. Catherine herself was soon snatched up by the government and shipped off to Moore River Native Settlement.

It was here that she became a girl. There were two things that separated Catherine from her peers among the Aboriginal and fellow half-caste children at Moore River, one more grim than the other. Firstly, she did not try to escape. She had been 'rescued' at far too young an age to remember anything about her parents, so why would she bother? Especially with her education painting the Aboriginals as little more than mindless savages. Nor was she terribly interested in the 'freedom' of the Outback. On the few occasions when she was let out, she considered it nice, but too hostile a place to even consider staying. Secondly, unlike many of her age group (and despite the conditions) she was a perfectly healthy child.

She grew. As her mind developed, she began to question things. Authority, for instance, and the portrayal of the physically darker half of her lineage in school, compared to what her fellow classmates told her. Eventually, at the age of sixteen, she began to plan an escape, setting her date for doing so on Australia Day, when most of the Moore River staff would probably be distracted with the holiday. Surprisingly, it worked, and she managed to make it as far as Perth, where her trail apparently ran cold. But there she faced a bigger problem. She had never planned to actually escape, and thus had no idea, let alone plans, as to what to do once she did. After several weeks of trying (and failing) at various jobs, she decided to head back.

It was on the way back, around fifty miles out of Perth, where she was accosted by an extremely drunk werewolf. It was he who gave her the scar across her nose, and it was he who transformed her into a werewolf. (He insists it was an accident, despite fleeing the country after showing her the route to Bunyip clan territory. She doesn't believe that, but accepts it was a mistake induced by alcohol.) After several days of walking (and a few hours of hitchhiking) she managed to make it, hungry, tired, thirsty and confused, to Bunyip clan territory, in Northern Australia. At first, they were as suspicious of her as she was of them - she had only seen one werewolf before in her life, let alone hundreds. Even among the clan, which did admit her, she was considered an outsider.

Or she would have, were it not for the actions of a certain Aboriginal werewolf by the name of King Lear. If the educators at Moore River had taught her to be a human, then King Lear taught her to be a werewolf. How to control her transformations, how to ensure she wouldn't attack her new friends, how to hunt, how to track, how to shoot a rifle, and how to fight bare-handed with her new, incredible strength. She did good, at all of these things. She even got to try out those things in the end, being allowed to go on hunting raids with her fellow clanmates at the outpost by the time she reached seventeen - she wanted to go earlier, but Lear would have none of it.

But after all that time training, and a few years hunting, she felt she was in a rut, much like back in Moore River, though admittedly far more free. So when some men in suits came looking for someone willing to fight the growing threat of Japan and Germany, she willingly accepted. She's been with the SoE ever since.
Psychological Profile: Fairly intelligent, especially for someone of her checkered schooling. This is partially evident in how she doesn't like to do things gung-ho: She likes, no, needs, a plan. While she is far from above using unorthodox (or even somewhat improper/immoral) means to get what she wants, she is entirely incapable of doing any real harm. She wouldn't consciously hurt a fly, not without very good reason to.
Why do you fight?: A change in pace, and perhaps a reason to be.

Another thing noteworthy is that Brendan seems to not have a regret for his violent past, saying that he did what he had to do what was necessary to stay alive during the Great Depression and Anti-German sentiment.
Why do you fight?: To serve his country, simply put. Brendan doesn't care who he has to kill, as long as he completes the mission.

I odn't know, but I TGed Agri about the prospect of a female Minuteman in the OSS. I'd like to get a bit more info as well as a straight yes or no to what I may end up doing before I start working on it.

Bio: Grew up to a poor family in Soviet Ukraine in the aftermath of the Great War. The sixth and last of his siblings, both his parents were executed as royalist to the old Tsarist regime. His three brothers later died fighting to avenge his parents, and his only sister abandoned him soon after. He currently has no ties to any immediate or extended family members. Living on the streets, he was later discovered by the NKVD to have significant potential as an esper, and was trained at a Russian Esper Academy. He was almost constantly in.... "re-education" for his refusal to endorse Stalin's authoritative communist regime, however with the improved will-power gained by unlocking one's esper power, he managed to resist the majority of torture. Normally he would be executed, but due to the need of espers due to Russia's lack of the occult, he was instead sent to the Shadow Ops, as his lack of patriotism wouldn't be tolerated in the Red Army
Psychological Profile: A realist, and extremely cynical. However he will not hesitate to put the need of the people above himself, and is not afraid to go against the orders of his superiors, or against protocol, if he believes said order will put civilians in unnecessary danger. People often disagree with him on what these "needs of the people" are, however.
Why do you fight?: Self-determination, on a government and individual level. Government level meaning people's right to choose there own government, whether it be Fascist, Communist, or Democratic, regardless of his personal preference. Individual level meaning people's right to choose their own destiny, no matter how misguided, or straight up idiotic he thinks that destiny is.

Tho' on the other hand, I might make more chars in the future. Next one is prolly a Scotsman, a hardened veteran or happy-go-lucky yet tough witch, both of whom likes to drink alcohol. :P

Bio: Clark Harris is a good 'ole mountain boy from Morganton, North Carolina. He lived at a local sawmill that his father operated, and he learned at an early age how to work hard. He was but two years old when the state of North Carolina banned alcohol, at which point 'ole Leevert Harris decided to start brewing up hooch. During the day, about when Clark turned 5, young Clark and 'ole Lee would work the sawmill, witht he elder teaching his son the ways of the dangerous line of work. That was before he went off to school in town, learning how to read and write. Before long, the US as a nation outlawed alcohol, thus beginning Prohibition. The 11-year-old Clark was soon put to work at the still, brewing up all sorts of hooch, or they'd send him out to town to acquire the needed ingredients for said hooch, or to pass a bribe off to the Burke County Sheriff.

At the age of 15, he was out delivering hooch to local buyers, which was rather risky work when you had the feds all around. He learned to drive an old car that had its engine boosted and worked on so that he could outrun the feds if they ever tried to chase him down. By 20, his father had set up connections with powerful forces way up north, all the way in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Before long, the Harris family was dealing with some of the most dangerous men in the US, notably "Nucky" Johnson. As the years dragged on, the relationship between the two grew more perverse, with Clark spending more time in the big city, doing all sorts of jobs for Nucky, from collecting gambling debts to knocking off competition. By 1933 however, things began to crumble.

Prohibition had ended, and the government was going after Nucky. Sensing that things were about to take a turn for the worst, Clark got out while he could and found himself enlisting in the Organized Reserves of the US Army, assigned to the 82nd Infantry down in Florida, where he enrolled at the University of Florida. During his time there, he studied Sociology and also attended the Army's Officer Candidate School, earning a promotion to Second Lieutenant, thanks to some connections that he had made while working for Nucky. Around 1937, he ended up following a few of his classmates in joining up with the International Brigades in Spain, during the Spanish Civil War.

Spain was a mess. Not only did you have the Nationalist forces of General Francisco Franco duking it out with the Republican forces, but you had the Soviets meddling in the affairs of the Republican government as well as Nazi Germany wishing to showcase their new arsenal. He fought alongside the Abraham Lincoln, most notably distinguishing himself at the Battle of Jarama, as well as during the Aragon Offensive. He last fought at Teruel, when the Nationalists forced the brigade to retreat from the city. Since her birth in a small colony in Pennsylvania, Anna had only known the church and bible. However, one moment in her thirteenth birthday changed her life, when she brought an injured dove to her mother to treat. It was then her mother demonstrated a power both stunning and frightening. She healed the dove with nothing but her hands and a strange energy.

As Anna would find out, her mother was, in fact, a witch. A practitioner of pagan magistry, she grew weary of the magical realm and the trepidation of her coven, breaking ranks to settle with the man he loved and his God. It was a secret the pair harboured from the colony, knowing full well her talents would be met with fear and scorn. It was also a path she hoped Anna need not follow, preferring her to live a happy life free of the twisted outside world. Anna herself reacted nervously to the news, unwilling to recognize someone with such 'unholy' power as her mother. But a few days of silence finally calmed her nerves, as she finally accepted her ancestry on the sole belief that she need not follow down the same path.

Unfortunately for Anna, her coming of age coincided with the war itself. When the call finally came for the Salem coven to join the war effort, her registrars were ordered to scribble in any name that meets the OSS draft for manpower. The next day, the OSS approached the colony itself, calling for Anna to answer the draft. Easily bought by a desire to help the sick and believing her status as a conscientious objector would keep her off the front lines, she bid farewell to her parents in the colony.

She was wrong.

Press-ganged into the OSS, Anna's talents as a witch overrode her objections on religious grounds. While fairly mediocre in healing spells due to her lack of magical studies, Anna was still dragged into frontline duty out of necessity, rather than personal conviction. While bitter, the Mennonite's protests never extended beyond verbal complaint. Force, sadly, was something she was unwilling to use, and one her new employers exploited to gain her reluctant compliance. Now part of the OSS' Shadow Operations, Anna's usual cheerful mood had become incredibly grim. This was a life she would learn to dread, and one to remember.

Before long, the Harris family was dealing with some of the most dangerous men in the US, notably "Nucky" Johnson. As the years dragged on, the relationship between the two grew more perverse, with Clark spending more time in the big city, doing all sorts of jobs for Nucky, from collecting gambling debts to knocking off competition. By 1933 however, things began to crumble.

Prohibition had ended, and the government was going after Nucky. Sensing that things were about to take a turn for the worst, Clark got out while he could and found himself enlisting in the Organized Reserves of the US Army, assigned to the 82nd Infantry down in Florida, where he enrolled at the University of Florida. During his time there, he studied Sociology and also attended the Army's Officer Candidate School, earning a promotion to Second Lieutenant, thanks to some connections that he had made while working for Nucky. Bio: Grew up to a poor family in Soviet Ukraine in the aftermath of the Great War. The sixth and last of his siblings, both his parents were executed as royalist to the old Tsarist regime. His three brothers later died fighting to avenge his parents, and his only sister abandoned him soon after. He currently has no ties to any immediate or extended family members. Living on the streets, he was later discovered by the NKVD to have significant potential as an esper, and was trained at a Russian Esper Academy. He was almost constantly in.... "re-education" for his refusal to endorse Stalin's authoritative communist regime, however with the improved will-power gained by unlocking one's esper power, he managed to resist the majority of torture. Normally he would be executed, but due to the need of espers due to Russia's lack of the occult, he was instead sent to the Shadow Ops, as his lack of patriotism wouldn't be tolerated in the Red Army
Psychological Profile: A realist, and extremely cynical. However he will not hesitate to put the need of the people above himself, and is not afraid to go against the orders of his superiors, or against protocol, if he believes said order will put civilians in unnecessary danger. People often disagree with him on what these "needs of the people" are, however.
Why do you fight?: Self-determination, on a government and individual level. Government level meaning people's right to choose there own government, whether it be Fascist, Communist, or Democratic, regardless of his personal preference. Individual level meaning people's right to choose their own destiny, no matter how misguided, or straight up idiotic he thinks that destiny is.

I'm willing to give you a chance, though I'd like for you to make the adjustments you spoke about, if so you want. That said, a few nitpicks: all Soviet Espers have got white hair due to counter-effects of the augmentation process, and you should probably read up on how Russian names work.

Bizarrely, this may end up being one of my most autobiographical characters.
