Of course you guys would be using a lot of Schwarzesmarken characters...

Player Character App

Name: Brunhilde Rosenfeld
Gender: Female
Age: 18
D.O.B.: April 4th, 1923
Physical Description and/or Picture: https://i.imgur.com/98C5NGl.jpg
Species: Mundane
Nationality: German
Ethnicity: 75% German/25% Norwegian
Religion: "Believes in God" is about as far into religion as she gets
Bio: Brunhilde was a modern day Polly Oliver. After her lover enlisted into the German Army, she was not too far behind. She snuck out in the middle of the night and passed herself off as a rather thin looking guy to join up. She made it into the army just in time to participate in the invasion of Poland. Her travels would not stop there, as she was transferred here and there and all over the German army, trying to find her significant other. She participated in the invasion of Norway, France, Denmark, the North African campaign, and the occupation Yugoslavia. She was assigned to fill whatever role was needed in her squad, but by 1941 she was hitting her growth. It became harder and harder to pass off as a guy, and many in her squad severely doubted her stories about why she wouldn't take a shower while anyone else was in the building.

Just when she had given up hope, she received secondhand news from one of the other soldiers. Apparently, her lover had been killed in the invasion of Greece while trying to save his comrades. It was devastating to her morale, and she requested to leave the army despite knowing what such a thing did. And yet, her CO saw potential in her. She had been awarded the Knight's Cross alongside her other badges for actions that, like her lover, saved the lives of her fellow soldiers at great risk to her own life. Still, she wanted out, but he had the know-how to keep her in and get her some much needed time away from the front.
Psychological Profile: The once bright and young girl that danced off to enlist is gone, and replaced with a more mature and aged woman who's seen her fair share of war and bloodshed during the Blitzkrieg. She's quiet, keeps to herself, and seeks solitude despite hating that it makes her mind wander. She doesn't exactly know why she continues to serve the Fatherland, but maybe it's better than facing the music at home for what she did.
Why do you fight?: For tomorrow

Player Character App (Shadow Ops Operative)

Image
Ignore the Thompson whatever that is

Name: Luisa Chiavallati
Gender: Female
Age: 18
D.O.B.: 18th of March, 1923
Species: Technomage
Nationality: Italian
Ethnicity: Italian
Religion: Godless, but will state 'good god' or 'mio dio' out of habit as much as a Muslim would say 'Jesus' when startled because it's become a common phrase.
Powers/Magical Specializations: As a technomage, Luisa has an interesting and rather modern way of using her magical capabilities. Using the elements of electricity and metal, she can use custom-built weapons (mechanical fists, powered legs) that boost her combat prowess. Further more she can enhance the standard weapons she has at her disposal to even more dangerous levels of destruction, and is able to create rather useful power armor if she so requires it. One might call her a glass cannon however, as the more powerful the weapon or armor she uses, the weaker she gets becomes in body durability.
Bio: A witch who grew up to engineers, Luisa intended to become a doctor as a child. But following the death of her mother during a work incident, she decided to take on the reigns as the next Chiavallanti engineer. With bare knowledge on how to do magic from books she found in her mother's study, and her father's very little knowledge on how his late beloved used the arcane, she managed to succeed in creating her first machine at the age of 10. It only continued to grow from there, as she began to meet former colleagues of her mother in secret, gaining invaluable knowledge on how to use her powers for the better of the world itself.

Not exactly a follower of politics, she only found fascism as a way of running a country, and simply threw the thought aside to focus on her work to support her father. It was when he was called back into action, as a combat engineer on the Ethiopian front, that she realized politics would dictate the fate of the nation. She would constantly write to him day after day, eventually ordered to work at a tank factory due to her engineering background. When he didn't write back, that was when she began to worry, and eventually news came in that his entire platoon was wiped out during a surprise British attack.

Shock, anger, and want for vengeance drove her to take up arms, and she quickly enlisted, utilizing some secreted combat magic to pass the exams and enter Alpini training. By mid 1941 she had completed the course as a Sergente and was ready to begin fighting the allies, specifically the English, a fiery hate for them taking away her last bit of family.

Little did she know that her mother didn't die by accident.
Psychological Profile: A lust for vengeance, she will be rather vicious if encountering a British soldier. Otherwise, she holds no hate for anyone else.
Why do you fight?: "For my father."
Defining Quote: "There isn't a single machine that can fill the void of warmth I once knew."
RP Sample: I've given one in the first app...

So, wolf, when does the AXIS story go up, and when do the new characters for SC go in?

I'm assuming for the second that it would happen when the next Allied IC goes up, but I'm just checking.

General Peter Van Doorn

I should poke Agri into putting this in the OP

Your Allied character is going to have to wait until next mission. Your Axis character, however, can report in with the rest of Geier in the main IC already.

Not exactly what I was looking for, but I'll try to make it work

Edit:

How good of a translation is this:

From "Burns with Shadow"

to

影で 書き込む (kagede kakikomu)

I'm not sure if the spacing is right, as the copypaste was weird.

Well, computer tech hasn't advanced enough to alter grammar structures. Trust me, Japanese grammar is that different from English.

Yup. Japanese grammar is fundamentally different from that of English in several senses: the classifications of "noun", "verb", "adjective", etc. don't translate well; not only is Japanese SOV while English is SVO (in terms of sentence structure), but Japanese arranges heads and dependents in a different way from English; and a few other things that I probably shouldn't go into because I'm gonna turn this into a textwall that few people will actually understand.

I have no idea, frankly. My knowledge of Japanese is mostly theoretical: I could describe how to construct a sentence with a good deal of accuracy, but I would struggle to construct an actual sentence. My vocabulary's too small, and I don't get enough practice to get good at forming constructions beyond the most basic.

"Fill out (a written form) through the shadows" :?

I have no idea what that means. Anyway, there's no such thing as spacing in Japanese. All the characters take up one space. No spaces in between.

A much more accurate translation is 「影で燃やす」 (Pronunciation: Kage de moyasu |Literal: Burn using the shadows). It makes sense, though.

Huh. How'd you get that out of the site (if you did)?

To me, it was very confusing.

I have no idea what that means. Anyway, there's no such thing as spacing in Japanese. All the characters take up one space. No spaces in between.

I'm learning Japanese now. Exam's coming up. :D

Also, I looked up jisho.org for the verbs. They're at the end of the sentence rather than at the middle as in English.

They say that in the great wars of NS Summer, there was one who did not fight with blood, but with iron. They named this one the Master of Tanks, and the thunderous sound of cannon and the rattling of machine guns could be heard far and wide, the crossroads before the capital of CotM being defended by this valiant one until it stood alone. Shitposters layed in droves, and entire army having been slain by the might of Sonitusia, Master of Tanks, Commandant of Iron, and Slinger of Shells.
