Okay so like John McCain wins the 2008 Presidential election and his economic policies only hurt the economy more. With America having a destabilizing economy, Russia and China reset their relations and their relationship flourishes from there. China, with lesser dependency on the United States begin investing more in other countries in Latin America and Europe. The loss of Chinese interest hurts the fragile economic situation in the United States, causing greater inflation and steeper economic decline. Meanwhile, Russia's economy begins to grow, thanks to the new alliance with China, prompting Vladimir Putin to start a new economic union with former Soviet states.

In 2011, The Eurasian Union is formed with Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Belarus. Not soon after, China is admitted into the Union in 2012. With China lessening its economic ties more and more with the United States, the United States economy begins spiraling out of control. With civil unrest (nonviolent) building, the United States defaults on its national debt, as a result interest rates increase and the job market weakens, destabilizing the economy even more. This prompts most foreign investors to forego their options in America for better ones in Latin America, Asia, and Africa.

In 2012, the U.S presidential election seen Barack Obama win after his loss in '08. In an attempt to reduce spending and fix the economy, Obama immediately pulls out of all military installments, including Iraq and Afghanistan rapidly, leaving a power vacuum in both countries. With reinvigorated instability in the area, both Afghanistan and Iraq fall into civil unrest as their respective governments are incompetent and incapable of sustaining themselves. With fear in Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan of instability spewing over into their borders while facing economic uncertainty, they apply for the Eurasian Union. Surrounded by EAU members, Kyrgyzstan faces internal pressure to join, which it eventually does.

The European Union reaches out to a growing Eurasian Union to create an interdependency between the two unions as the U.S economy continues to fail and threaten the world economy. After representatives of member states meet, they decline. Citing the reason as unstable economic situations in certain EU nations would be detrimental to the growth of the Eurasian Union. With heavy investing from China and Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine's economies flourish, making their economies the 17th and 20th largest economies in the world by 2014.

2014 also marked the decline of the U.S Dollar, as the IMF labeled the Chinese Yuan the top reserve currency in the world. The United States, facing greater economic turmoil than ever before, couldn't have been in a worse position when the United States once again, defaulted on its debt. Marking the second time in less than two years the U.S defaulted on it's national debt. The United States' credit rating was downgraded to a CCC-, destroying any lingering hope for any loans. The United States was thusly removed from it's status as a world superpower as its economic woes continued.

The European Union suffered slightly from the United States economic collapse after it cut most of it's ties with America after it's first default, not wanting another Greece to deal with. The Eurasian Union was minimally affected as thanks to the various trading agreements and cooperation between member states. With the United States absent from world politics, the world is now a battleground to become the world's next superpower.
