Theme

Along the Road from Early 2510, to late 2558, Doctor Catherine Halsey had to make a number of decisions. A number of things that would make or break history with a pen stroke. Many of them had long reaching consequences or short term pay offs. Any number of things could have differed, if only she wrote one thing instead of another. Typed one name instead of a dozen.

So what if it had been different? 300 original candidates, cut down by half, and once again. Over 1.36^743 different combinations of children to be selected as soldiers. What if the ones we knew never met, never got abducted, never knew war? What would be different? Would the war end faster? Would it even begin? Would Humanity make it? So many questions, with very little answer that would be more than conjecture. All we know is that SPARTANS write their own story in history, either by holding mountain passes in Ancient Greece, or by blowing up capital ships on the final frontier. They pave their way through the wave of enemy flesh so others don't have to know the sacrifices they made. So others can know childhood and normalcy.

This is the story of another bundle of 75 Children. A story of loss, pain, death, victory, and triumph.

This is the story of the other SPARTAN IIs.

As you have likely guessed, this RP will be taking place during the life and times of a SPARTAN II, played by you the RPer. In the RP it'll be a bit more meotional and character building than the books and games portray the SPARTANs as due to a few expected changes. I also expect that all of you know the general Lore behind the popular game and book series Halo. If you don't it's a bit odd that you're here, but don't worry it's kinda simple, and you'll likely be taught along the way (who knows you might find a new series of game to play). But in order to get into the crunchiness there's a few things to get out of the way:

You get three total warnings. On your forth warning you get asked to leave, and if you don't the mods are called.

• 1. No Godmodding/Meta-Gaming: This can be defined as playing your character without limitations or having your character know things they couldn't possibly know. Like a six year old conscripted child knowing of the impending Covenant threat or what the hell is going to happen to them when they go to sleep that night.
• 2. Don't be a dick in the OOC: You can have your character be an aggressive and smarter version of a certain political candiate in the IC. But the moment you act like a dick in the OOC thread you'll get a warning.
• 3. No One Liners: Three full lines of text per each IC post, anything less is frowned upon and is generally laziness and will not be accepted. Anything greater is acceptable and is smiled upon.
• 4. No 'Dick measuring' contests: The moment two of you start arguing over which character is better, and it doesn't contribute to goings on in the IC. You'll both get a warning.
• 5. For the love of god keep it PG-13: This is a general site rule, and while PG-13 is a blurred line nowadays, the rules of thumb are: nothing sexually explicit, and nothing overly violent. This is a place to role play as possibly mentally broken super-soldiers, not write out deviant fantasies.
• 6. No multicolor or odd dialogue: No colored text, and no italicized/bolded/underlines paragraphs. Reserve them for actual use instead of using them for everything.
• 7. If you have a problem with a player, take it to TG. If that does not work, bring it to the OP or a CoOP's attention. Do not turn the OOC thread into chaos.
• 8. You have a 72 hour grace period to post if you're holding someone back, after that your character will be forced to move on by the OP or Co-Op. Failure to return will result in character death.
• 9. Don't just write for yourself, other want to get involved as well. I realize it's human nature, but try to involve other people's ideas, themes, and characters. A major part in RPing is having other people, don't turn them away or cast a blind eye.

It will not be noir, though it may have such a feel to it, it will take place in a single city but will be a bit free form.

The world is much like our own but with a vast difference, an event many years prior tore open the Veil separating our world from the world of Demons solidifying the once vague connection between the two worlds. Previously demonkin of any strength could only enter the mortal plane through contracts with humans foolish enough to contact them. Now however the weaker demons can pass through the tattered Veil near effortlessly though stronger ones still need a contract or a suitable host or sacrifice.

There will be a few types of demons, Those with physical forms, those with spiritual forms and ,those who are of the elements.

I am thinking that there will be two sides to the rp the Demons be they good or bad and those that hunt them. Though this is mostly just made up as i typed and havent fleshed much out.
