Interesting. Are they for OUTBREAK or Los?

Gotcha. I'm thinking I'm going to mainly RP as Paulson and his daughter, with them basically being like the Father and Son from the road. The daughter would have no clue what the old world was like, save for what she's learned from Sarah and Paulson. I feel that'd be interesting.

I may see if I can run a group of cannibals or something, but I feel like I'll probably find something to work with as the RP goes on.

We'll get along swimmingly IC as always, comrade.

At least Paulson didn't blow himself up in some misguided attempt to exercise scorched earth tactics.

Ah, but you don't know what's happened in the intervening years. Maybe...Oh, I probably shouldn't play my hand just yet.

World would've made people desperate by that point. I would expect people'd start using stuff like crossbows and improvised weapons by that point, in addition to stuff like cannibalism.

Point is, I think the desperate circumstances might make them a bit more inclined to take to banditry.

A creepy guy with a gas mask. I've been experimenting with flags lately. I may bring back the Ol' Eagle flag, but I think I prefer this.

It's a gif that's supposed to breathe really creepily, but hey, I'll take what I can get.

I've seen that around and entertained the idea of using it. I personally just like this because it reminds me of Pink Floyd's The Wall.

What exactly is that "Are you my mummy" thing referencing, anyway?

I'm a Pink Floyd guy. I can't explain it. My dad made me watch The Wall way back when and I've been listening to it ever since.

Hm. That's mildly unsettling. Not the creepiest thing I've ever seen, but still a bit eerie.

Even my non-Whovian friends are afraid of kids in gas masks... it's funny. People who have never seen that show are creeped out by the idea of a kid in a gas mask, no 'Are you my mummy?' required. Maybe it's an instinctive human fear. ;)

I have certain things that really get to me. Gas Masks don't really, maybe because I find them actually really interesting. Not as an item, but aesthetically.

Admittedly, something about things moving without making noise really gets to me. There's just something deeply unsettling about it, but I can't quite place why.

The "Are you my mummy" thing is actually a bit annoying, if you ask me, but I'm not really big on Doctor Who in the first place. I think it has good ideas, but it doesn't really know what to do with them.
