It has been...astonishingly slow the last day or so.

I feel like a horror RP would be cool. I dunno. Just throwing ideas out.

I've honestly got nothing better to do at the moment, so I'm just piffing about NS.

If we're throwing ideas out there I had an idea for a music/hollywood one

As a drama thing, I actually kinda like the idea of doing something Hollywood related.

Something about the idea of playing, like, an aging actor or something sounds like it's ripe for funny shit.

Maybe it could be about people trying to make a movie and miserably failing at every turn?

I had the idea of staging it in the form of a contest. But maybe there could be things like movie recording as subplots as part of the competition. Maybe the competition could be a certain length and the winning character gets to star in a big movie or something.

Don't get me wrong, Vietnam is one of my favorite events in history to study and RP, but here it wouldn't be nearly has fun or realistic. Number one, we are RPing in the 80s. We'd already failed there once and were not going to make the same mistake. Number two, the odds of it escalating to the level I'm imagining would be fairly unrealistic. Number three, to put it simply, would be China is a wildcard. Lastly, where are you going to use Armor in the jungle?

I like it. I think it could use a bit more fleshing out, but it's definitely an idea that could work, if handled correctly.

I don't think I'd be able to participate, what with being involved in my max limit of three RPs at the moment, but I'd definitely encourage you to give it a shot.

So, I would say it would be a combined arms type RP. You would either control a Tank, Aircraft, or Squad sized unit.
