I have since cleared it with him that I can still control Thrawn even though I dropped the Chiss, since I thought it would be rather unfair for me to control both.

You're telling me that you don't control the Chiss but do control Thrawn? Thrawn controls the Chiss with the Empire of the Hand, that makes no sense. They literally go together, and the Chiss do not need to be their own faction. They are but another warring sector of the Empire with Thrawn as their Moff.

To be honest, I put words' in Thrawn's mouth. But, I'll go ahead and apologize for it. I've been acting like a dick to you in this argument, but you just keep getting uppity with me and Rob over this little thing, like fuck, let it go.

I don't see how I'm getting uppity, just trying to defend my position. I accept your apology, and offer my own for getting uppity at any point.

And I could control the Chiss as well, I just thought it would be a bit over-powered for me to have control over them, plus any support I managed to scrounge up from the Empire.

You contradicted yourself a bit in there. The Empire can beat the Confederates, this is known, but if that's the case, why would Thrawn be seen as "the person to do it" if others can do so quite readily? For the record, his arrival is fine with me - I hardly care to be frank. Thrawn has little to work with if other Moffs standing in the way, and would need major development before he could be the Imperial Strongman he was shown to be during his trilogy.

More as in become the public image of the person who defeated them, rather then the only person the Moffs and others might consider. It would help him with the public (Not that Imperials really care about public image) if he had plans to become more active in the Empire as a whole, especially after the years of xenophobia and the like.

Anyway, I'll discuss with Rebel about Thrawn controlling the Chiss as well tomorrow. Meanwhile I'm off to bed.

We need to plan things out with Thrawn if you want to get a good interaction with us. I hate roleplaying in the dark, and I was personally under the impression that Aran Vale would be an able and competent match for Thrawn - simply because I like, trust, and respect Rebel enough to make him an excellent character.
