NAR, listen. You need to write longer posts. I understand conversational posts are harder, but 1-2 liners are unacceptable under nearly any circumstances.

I usually do, been having writer's block lately.

When it's the majority of the ship, probs. And they're going the complete opposite direction of Coruscant.

Even if it was the majority of the ship- meaning the Imperial Navy personnel defected along with all of the 501st- the Empire would probably still try boarding actions first. Bodies are cheap. Starships are expensive to replace.

Indeed- those interdiction fields are in place in order to prevent people from leaving Coruscant's orbit, where your ship is located.

Erm, what is the fleet doing near Endor? They jumped out-system as soon as the Death Star II went boom, presumably for their home ports.

Not to sound like a cock-block or anything, but wasn't much of the Confederacy fleet disassembled/retrofitted by the Empire? As in, almost all? I could understand a random hidden superweapon and a few dozen frigates, but hundreds of thousands of vessels seems... implausible.

They actually left most of it alone, and figured that with the droids deactivated, it wouldn't really matter. Believe it or not, the ships going to Geonosis right now isn't even a FRACTION of the former CIS fleet. At the battle of Coruscant, there were thousands of frigates, destroyers and dreadnoughts. And the hundred thousands of the vessels are just like, Vulture Droids and shit like that.

Many Old Separatists joined the Alliance when the Declaration of Rebellion was signed, and thus, probably provided a lot of the firepower for the Alliance, especially in the Outer Rim territories. The Empire used "fighting Separatism" as their false-flag, and really, did almost nothing about it except glass Mustafar. They seemed more concerned with consolidating power, eliminating Jedi, purging their own ranks, and to be honest, the Confederates couldn't really do much after the Clone Wars. Droids piloted their fleets whenever possible, so their deactivation meant that they were useless.

...Until they got reactivated by the Confederate-built Dread AI.

Biography: Darth Vaklaria, a member of the brutal Rattataki race. Not much is known of Darth Vaklaria's early life, or any of her life before being brought into Darth Sidious' fold and trained in harsh conditions to master and strengthen her powers of the dark side. It is said she excelled in training, much to the Emperors approval, and gaining her plenty of enemies among her fellows. She soon graduated and joined the ranks of the Inquisitorius. All surviving reports from the Imperial Archives show she was a violent and brutal agent of the Empire with no regard for losses, allied, enemy, or civilian.

Although the Emperor had little care for such minor issues, she made enemies across the galaxy and was the target of several assassination attempts from both Rebel and other agents of the Empire. She obviously survived all such attempts, but it soon lead to conflict after one such attack killed her favorite team of agents she commanded. She tracked down the culprits, in this case half a dozen fellow Inquisitors, and butchered them.

The Emperor may have approved of competition and survival of the fittest, he couldn't quite have his top agents being killed in such number over rather minor things. So as he sent Thrawn to the Unknown Regions, he granted Vaklaria the title of Darth (Which she well deserved by that time anyway) and sent her with Thrawn, to help him along with his mission, and to act as a direct agent to the Emperor.

Over the years she has developed a liking to the now Grand Admiral's ideals for a new empire, and with the death of her master, has decided to aid him in this endevour.
