Awaiting the Dawn: A Horror/Survival RP (OOC/signups/Open)

You will be pitted against your fears. No, I take it back. You will be pitted against fear itself. Each night will seem an eternity, life will not be taken for granted, darkness will become your worst nightmare, each shadow, a demon. You will dread the sound of the twelfth bell.

Basis for the RP: Every ten years, a group of people is placed in the Fieldpath Estate, a 150-year-old estate riddled with antiquated rooms, lying atop dungeons, tunnels, and cellars, and home to twisted, demented serial killers known as Hunters. Average civilians ('Prey') are placed on the estate, as well as convicted criminals. The goal is to survive. The Eternal Nights continue until no more than three people are left standing. However, there is no rule that there must be survivors.
As an RP'er, you can control either a civilian and/or a criminal or just a Hunter. I will only allow five Hunters in the RP, including me. If you are a Hunter, you may only have 1 character.

Rules
- Normal NationStates forum rules apply.
- No godmodding, metagaming, or other such RP-ruining crap
- The maximum death rate is one person per two pages of IC.
- Stay with the timescale. Don't jump a night in the future, or a night in the past.
- Don't post if you are drunk or otherwise temporarily impaired. You know the mods will hold you accountable for anything you do, and drunk posting usually makes for crappy IC posts.
- Listen to me and the Co-OP's. Failure to do so means instant suspension. Failure to recognize suspension results in banning from all of my future RP's.
- No spamming, trolling, or otherwise being a jerk OOC'ly.
- No whining if you get killed by a Hunter. Hunters must ask me in a TG before killing someone in the IC, but they don't have to inform you until they kill you.
- If you're a hunter or anyone else, be reasonable.
- Notify me or a Co-OP before going on extended (< 5 hours of certain inactivity)periods of inactivity, I will place you off of limits for killing or serious injury.
- If someone is breaking these rules, don't make a huge fuss that takes up 3 pages of OOC that are filled with whining, all caps, and badly (or not at all) censored cursing. Just TG me or a Co-OP and a decision will be made.
- There is one exception: If a Co-OP is abusing their power. By all means, make a 3, 4, 5-page long fuss (just skip the cursing and homophobic slurs, if you don't mind). I'll notice and check it out. If they are abusing power, I'll boot them.
- Unless you are blatantly aware of how badly you are breaking a rule, you get one warning before suspension.
