Yeah, there is a lot of stuff going on. I figured it will all connect at some point. "The dark one"/ Ezekial seems like he will become the main villain thus far. Maybe the library has hidden knowledge about his past that becomes plot essential in the future?

This happens with Arzhaban as well. I wanted him to be evil but as I see the story progress, the more I see he isn't evil, at least not as much.

You mean like how Aang, Katara, Sokka, and Toph, went to that library in the middle of the desert to find out about the day of the black sun?
