For a moment, I have been thinking that Prince Gabriel might have a little bit in common with the "cowardly lion" from the Wizard of Oz (e.g. he fails to recognize the more redeeming aspects of his personality because he has a warped idea of what he must be like).

I figured I'd come back, though I'm not sure how acceptable this character is. I need to consider what kind of character I can play over an extended period of time. I like Shapeshifters, and tend to play villains rather then heroes as villains have a chance for redemption while heroes have the risk of falling from the light, and into darkness.

While she attempts to maintain a cool, collected, and powerful presence she finds it difficult to handle when things do not go the way she intends them to go, and can resort to rash, and often cruel betrayals before becoming meek, and regretful. However such periods are mere lulls as that which she locks away will emerge again; jealousy, envy. Empathy for others is difficult for her, though she attempts to mimic it so as to fit in with those around her. She's will be clingy when it comes to relationships, and can be described as sweet, yet controlling.
Occupation (Princess, prince, baker, farmer, etc.): Thinks of her self a royalty, but really doesn't have any power of governance.
Bio (optional): Ages ago their was an entity known as the Darkness. The Darkness coveted power, and gathered it where ever he may. But even in his cruelness was a heart that longed for a companion. However all relationships balance out. His lady was a woman of light, and he an entity of darkness. Both infected the other, and in fear of loosing his essence, his darkness he slew her. But the story was yet over, for all unions bring a legacy....

Now with little memory of who she is, nor how she came to be sealed away in a great gem, freed by the pick of a careless miner, the unknown legacy emerges. Taken in by simple farmers she gradually began to realize who she is when her dark powers where used in their defense. Her actions against armed men, soldiers of the Kingdom, has only brought those who sheltered her trouble, and thus she had fled from them. Yet even while her memory returns much remains locked away. One thing however has awoken in her, a hatred of her father, and a desire to see him ended; yet- she has learned that he was long ago defeated, and knows not how to vent this burning desire as she just can't seem to let it go.
