Well, not really. But I did have a time--well, several times--where I had some serious depression issues. (Having a pretty major surgery at 10 years old really didn't help matters.) Thankfully, I got professional help, medication, stuff like that, and now I'm much better than I used to be. Not perfect, still get depressed from time to time, and I have to be careful and snap myself out of it if I start getting too deep into existentialism and such, but much better.

So that might help with the angst-writing.

Existentianilism is inextricably linked to existence, we have it all.

EDIT: And now Poland comes and crashes the party. XD

Yeah, Poland, come on! We almost had an entire page filled with nothing but soap opera interaction!

I kid, I kid.

You can put your direct quotations in cursive, that way they're easier to distinguish.

I always though cursive was reserved for inner thought.

Apparently it's debatable. I use italics for thoughts, bolded italics for the darker side's thoughts, and plaintext for speech, but I usually use a new line for that.
Gets confusing. For example, one time Charlotte thought something and Wiking responded to it!

That's why I don't use italics, but cursive.

EDIT:

Oh wait, they're completely different things. Nevermind. In Afrikaans we say "kursief" - cursive - for italics, and "vaste skrif" - linked writing - for cursive.

And Lios is even more of a jackass in that regard because he reads people.
Hard.
Meaning he'll get your name, age, life story, your first lamaworm sighting and your thoughts in mere seconds.

Unfortunately for him, he can only read that which is being thought, i.e. that which the subject is aware of. Most of the time thought's for Shojiro are themselves a cover, a farce... So his true self is not readable to anyone.

Poor, inexperienced Charlotte, never seen a llamaworm.

It's a limit that only makes sense. In order for him to read a person's thoughts, those thoughts must be in action, i.e. the electrical impulses for them have to be transmitted through the Nerve Gear to the game world, where he can read them. Unconscious, or subconscious thoughts (i.e. their electrical signals) aren't transmitted to the game world, as that would put too severe a strain on the signal, transmitting the terabytes of data would kill the connection. So the thoughts that Shojiro is thinking subconsciously remain in his physical head and aren't availible to Lios to read.

Okay, so you can be the official bringer of awkwardness, and I'll be the official bringer of creepy subtext. For some reason, I get a lot of creepy subtext in my work whether I mean it to be there or not. (The most famous(by which I mean, of those who were in the RP) of which I simply call 'the yellow paint incident'. That was just weird.)
We can both bring angst.

Aca, Charlia you might want to consider the phase that you are posting at, it is going hell'a fast, and you have once more advanced ahead f the rest of us.

Charlia, small suggestion to you, if you do not want others to confuse what is thought, spoken, or written.
add a small ending then, like how i almost always add a "He said" or similar depending.
It makes it almost impossible to miss what is what, so to speak
FT, but roam where i please
It does not reflect my real life world political views, which are considerably less authoritarian and more moderate
Refer to my factbook for canon, it´s however out of date, and badly written. So take it with a grain of salt
