Instead of having a few balanced Pokemon, is it OK to play as a trainer who only uses one that's very powerful (not legendary or lvl100, but just strong relative to those that others tend to use)?

I'd be willing to put up with a "no catching" restriction, although given the circumstances of this story, I'm not sure if anyone else would be capable of doing so anyhow...

The only thing wrong with it is that his Bipgraphy is too short. The Biography is supposed to be a retelling of his life before the RP. Yours just makes him look like a footnote in a Wikipedia page. But possibly most importantly, you didn't say why he traveled from Kanto to Johto, and which side he joined.

Most recently, his travels have taken him into Hoenn, where he planned to ask to join the regions engineers. However the outbreak of hostilities have left him stranded. As an independent trainer, both sides have approached him for help. At present, he is a member of the resistance, though the amount of actual battles he has fought for them have been few.

• History/Personality: Raven was given to Adler as a coming of age gift by his uncle, Hubert. Since then, the two have enjoyed many adventures together, and due to their often being alone with each other, their bond is strong. Personality wise, Raven is cool and calm, mirroring her trainers personality. She can be snappy, and tends to act aloof to other Pokemon. She can also be protective, and jealous.

For this RP, a few would be 2. I'm giving 3 Rule Balls to every trainer, and Team Members have access to an unlimited supply. That's why Gangsters have more Pokemon, but generally weaker ones as well.

Amua, if you want something your character writes to be coded so that other characters can't read it, then simply say that it's coded. An RP is about communal story-telling, and gimmicky things like that make it harder for everyone else to follow along. We don't all have the time or motivation to decipher something when we don't even know if it's relevant or not.
