My plans? Uplift humanity into a new species, transcending pitiful homosapians altogether in search of new heights that we were destined to be.

Promethians ^^. Well... the lead political party (corporation) is supporting that, and they have no intention to step down. Our country already has quite a progress into the biological augmentation.

Now, my plans for you... my guess is that since your HQ is in Japan, you tagged Korea within your operating range. I am going to be sending specialists (all probably heavily biologically enhanced) to Japan in hopes to snuff Black Phoenix out. Probably not going to happen... but I am hoping that it will make an interesting lore in the process without killing the main casts ^^

Yes, the point of biodirectionists is to make their lives better using genetic and biological augmentation. All its branches involve at least part of genetic engineering... although some rely on it more than others.

Cyberneticists? I haven't been informed, so it must be case-by-case basis. Personally, biological homeostasis would be enough to fuel machines if they were advanced enough. or there is always Matrix-style neuron shocks being harvested for mechanical needs. OR there is a good ol'battery for safe measures XDDD

Most Koreans (as most go to military at one point in time according to my lore) has genetic enhancements that assisted them in the military once upon a time. But they probably have run-on-the-mill enhancements, like resistance to diseases, enhanced regeneration capabilities, such and so forth that would help with the soldiers.

Meanwhile, more special operatives would really be random. Some may have different powers granted via spicing genes from different animals and flora. Other would have completely new genes that function as same as humans, but altered significantly that it cannot possibly be called human DNA. I would also assume great many of these spec. ops. would have their anatomy enhanced suited for their operation needs.

And assume every Korean to have some kind of biological enhancement, if not just for looks. Koreans (even now... but more so in this timeline) has extreme fetish for having perfection. Imagine every human in that world looking perfect image of humanity... or their own, twisted image of perfection.

I would have to say... no.

The reasoning is that Koreans have always demanded perfection. While... I would think that because of religion many would have initially frowned at such a radical change, with the rates of plastic surgery in the youths in Korea NOW... I would think that Korea is all but converted away from euqalists.

That and Korean government practically gives this away. As long as you promise to serve in a military for a set years, you are given a government-sponsored genetic enhancement + biological surgery. While the purpose is to enhance the soldiers' performance, Inovatium Solutions (which is sponsored by the government to perform this treatment) has always been "kind" to soldiers in terms of changing their appearance to their perfected ideals with no further charges. Give or take a few decades... and practically all your population has some genetic enhancement or another.
