She had no idea what kind though, she had never encountered a description of him in her research, but she had never really researched any powered armor user apart from, "Atlas!" she called, "A little help over here!"
She struggled, trying to get her ankles around his neck, though realistically, if he even vaguely knew what he was going, she was not going to succeed with that one. Attacking the wound had seemed the best bet and that had not worked...

The whole Lareylis family plus Màen suddenly was pulled off of their own existence, for a moment, they thought Stone did this and honestly, it wasn't something that was seemingly bad, after all, hot coco never hurt anybody.
But once they saw each other and Anathema in front of them, Alrick flipped.
"Excuse me, WHAT. Why the fuck are you pulling us here?!" However, he didn't seem to even care for the outburst and explained what he had to say.
As the god finished speaking, they all looked at each other and sighed.
"For fuck's sake, why do you want US to have no powers and be super tired while having a grenade with Carbonadium shrapnel in it? It's not even truly fair, what's the point in being a god if it is to do that? Heck I haven't even used my powers correctly since a shit long while. Why target me as well? Because I double jumped on a roof? Big deal, all of those here could do that." Naunet was pissed, the gods were often her only people she could speak to. and she needed people to speak to.
"WHAT. I trained to not feel tired over such things! What the hell man! It's not our fault we were born like this and are now powerful because we either use our imagination or do something else with our regeneration! Not our fault we aren't stupid like those heroes in the comics and tell our weakness to someone not worthy of our trust! Seriously!" Heamet shouted, he was pissed just as much and couldn't see the reason behind it, he trained to be that way, using barriers, portals and blood was something he trained for years to achieve to not be tired while using his powers.
It was simply and purely unfair to him.
Undoing five years of training and hardships was simply stupid and illogical.
However, as much as one would've expected Alrick to shout, flip and get angered, he stayed quiet and said a number.
"Pi. Now fuck off. And if need be, I'll just call upon Stone, but I actually wonder what my life could've been like if I hadn't got any powers. But you know what would be fairer? That you do it with us. After all, it's not like you will be able to manage it for more than... Three days, hold on for three days without powers and then I'll shut up, if you can't do that... Well, give us back our powers and never mess with us again. Because right now, calm as I may seem, I'm rather pissed and honestly, if I had a god killing weapon, I would use it right now because not only is it unfair to do it on everyone compared to both Heamet and I that are clearly the most dangerous here, Naunet on the other hand, just has an absolute defense and figuring out her weakness isn't something so hard to do.
Màen on the other hand just flat out won't be affected, she was literally born with it and her power lies in something our of her plus her natural knowledge. Seriously, fuck off now and put us on our damn Islands."
Màen, just like Alrick, simply nodded and lit up her cigarette again.
"You know bloke, it's not fun to break someone's years of training for your personal fun, god or not. Even Stone wouldn't have got that on us, and he's way more unpredictable than you are. Now as Alrick so colorfully put it, fuck off." She simply looked at him with a poker face, not caring in the slightest, after all, it wouldn't affect her.

Mind control? It would explain a few things. Zara winced at the impact of the crazed man's fists. It probably did nothing to Atlas, but he might well have winded her, "Get his helmet off... and cut these ties, I'll put him under. He will be invaluable as a prisoner."
She didn't imagine he would talk, but a non-talker could be just as revealing under the right circumstances... Kosa was the right circumstances. Zara still had no idea what the other woman did, she didn't want to know, but she could make the most taciturn offender sing like a canary... and still vehemently deny they had said anything.

I heard someone approaching quickly, I turned to find someone wearing the same uniform as the folks attacking, I stood, stomp down hard on the power armored soldiers other arm, effectively destroying it, aimed the M249 at the approaching hostile and spoke, "That's close enough bud."

Anathema
I chuckled "The thing is, this isn't about my personal pleasure, it's you all tipping the scales a bit too far, and asking me to depower is quite possibly the most stupid thing I've ever heard, because it would literally cause this dimension to cease to exist, and Naunet you can still speak with the gods, you just won't have any way to use your powers." the individuals in the room found themselves without any equipment, "Trust me if I could've shrugged this responsibility on someone else I would've by now." I took a sip of tea through my helmet, "And calm down, it's only 7 hours, Christ you remind me of a teenager who just got their phone taken away." I took another sip of tea. "Also, Stone was the one who suggested I get you all to tone it down a bit."

As soon as Naunet heard the fact that she could still speak to the gods, she calmed down a good way.
"Oh, well then, but still, do you even realize that Màen won't be affected in the slightest? It's not even her power, it's her actual form-" Naunet spoke, but was suddenly cut off by a sigh from the same person.
"Will you piss off? I know it's not going to do anything to me and he probably knows it better than us, so how about we just take like who we are and stop whining over that bullshit, also, I don't believe you about Stone, it's not his style to ask someone to do something for him, if he wants something he takes it, could I have the real reasons? Because currently, the only people that are capable of holding a speech that can remotely make sense are both me and Alrick. Ironically." Màen spoke, she still wasn't serious but her tone had changed, it felt like she was actually concerned, her cigarette disappeared after a while.
"I know you just made every part of our equipment vanish but could at least give me a pack of cigarettes? I need to pass time. It ain't much, it's not even a weapon and I can't do shit with smoke."
"Even though she could've spared the last word, I just want to know something else, how long is the tire-from-using-powers thing going to stay in motion? I still think that this is bullshit, but I don't want to collapse like an idiot when I've been saying and knowing I could take on something.
I won't brag about something if I can't do it, and if so, well I'll just stay on the island a bit more, after all, you said deserted, that doesn't mean there won't be trees, that only says that there's no civilization. I could always make a house on there and use it as my winter residence." Alrick spoke, he simply kicked back, he didn't have any equipment besides his phone, it wasn't like anything was truly changing.
After all, he did survive a week long trip in his human body in the mountains for a week all alone, surviving on a deserted wasn't much to him and he was already pretty strong.
At the same time, what was Lios to do?
He was a ghost and still part of the Lareylis bloodline, his mere existence was a power in itself.
On the other side, Heamet simply shut up and looked at Anathema in a way that said: "Do what you want! I don't care anymore."

As for the tiring, take Atlas for example, he can lift a shipping container full of gold but he'll be obscenely exhausted, or he can throw several cars and still keep going, in short if you decide to use your variant of a spirit bomb you'll want to take a long nap, but you can spam magic missile for days on end before the same happens. Unless that's how things worked with you already... Don't look at my like that I'm in charge of several thousand googols of beings in several universes, I overlook things at times." I'll ask him anyway if I manage to meet him. Now cut the smoke bloke." Màen spoke, noticing the smoke almost immediately, her scot accent however was clearly showing, something that told she was getting highly annoyed.
Alrick simply smirked and kicked back.
"Well well. This ought to be interesting enough, I was growing kinda bored of all those blokes unable to hit me. But even then, I'd say you underestimate my willpower and my durability, both mental and physical. On that part, no one can manage to put me down. Torture means nothing to me, carbonadium or not. Or mental. But anyway, let's see how this will turn out." Alrick snickered a bit before looking at Heamet that had been looking at him with a shocked look on his face.
"What? Don't tell me it wasn't getting boring. What's the point in living forever if you can't spice up your own fights. Yes I stole that quote from Stone. By the way, I'm with Màen, I accept what you're saying, but I don't think you're being fully honest with that and everyone knows gods have all sorts of secrets that they hide by not even speaking about them in the first place. However... I highly doubt that someone such as Stone who is basically even more our father than you are, would pull out something like that out of his ass. By the way, no need for the carbonadium shits, if we're powerless, be it carbonadium, iron or anything else, we'll get wrecked." He spoke, widening his smile in a devious way that screamed: Well, what is it?
"You're telling me that you're abandoning all your powers for seven hours just like that and accept his sudden limitations we had overcame on our own? JUST LIKE THAT?" Heamet spoke, obviously not pleased in the slightest.
"Yeah, that's what I said. Open your ears a bit more lad."

I frowned, on paper it was theoretically possible for an Olympian subject to be able to fight against a force fifteen times their own without failure. That paper didn't exactly specify what failure was, and I wasn't exactly feeling like finding out, "Make it quick." Stepped to the side a bit to let him at the cripple's form, "Try anything and you die."

"That only works if you're built like a gorilla, like you, or they're tied at the front where you can get the proper leverage. Everyone says they can get out restraints, but they always assume their opponent is mentally retarded and retrains their hands in front of them." In any case, she hadn't particularly wanted to try - she had already cut her wrists while struggling with the guy in the exoskeleton and didn't particularly feel like making it any worse, "Gun?" she prompted, "I am no use to you without a weapon."

We were both transported into a massive arena of sorts, it was jungle of sorts, trees reaching into the sky vines dangling downwards, and bushes and shrubs throughout the biome, it stretched infinitely in all directions. I heard the thumping of Cthulhu walking around searching for me Hastur, my team mate was separated from me. I Swung my hammer down which leveled the forest 80 miles in every direction, the hundred foot trees sailed through the air. It would be a good fight, I could feel it.

"I hefted the SAW, "All I got is this, and I don't feel like bum rushing with a glaive, so your gonna have to sit tight." I glanced over to find Mother still malfunctioning, I frowned. I turned to the tree line and started taking potshots at anything that moved, and although I didn't know it at the time, the lack of light and the fires fucked with my vision, and I sent a burst straight at Alice.
Something that felt a lot like a huge hammer blow suddenly cleaned Alice's legs out from under her and she went crashing down in the dirt. She snarled something unintelligible, staggered to her feet, or tried to, before ending up fla on her face again. Then the pain set in, like someone had jammed a hot poker through her left calf. She gave a sob, then flicked on the radio, "I'm hit!" she gasped, "I'm..." she let it go, there were still bullets whizzing around. It was hard to focus, but she managed to put up a weak shield, extending in a low dome about a foot above her body. It would deflect stray bullets, but she doubted she could hold it against a concerted attack.
Why was she the one who always got shot, slammed against the floor, thrown down an elevator shaft, crushed under rubble...? She doubted there were many other meta-humans who had sustained quite so many debilitating injuries in the last five years. It really wasn't fair. She gave another sob, pulled out her cellphone. The mystery caller probably wasn't still on the line, though she didn't think to check, she just jammed the phone to her head, "Thank you for the assist stranger, but I've messed up..."
There was a snapping, crunching sound of something large pushing through the undergrowth - Shane. A bullet pinged off his shoulder, then he dropped down next to Alice, "Drop the shield Watcher, I'm getting you out of here."
Some distance away, Zara had been listening to what was going on through her radio, as well as watching Atlas, mostly in case he missed someone outflanking them. It never hurt to have a second pair of eyes. Her eyes widened as she put two and two together, "Allah be merciful... Atlas... I think that was you."
There was no accusation in her tone... if anything she sounded sympathetic. Zara had been around long enough to realize that, no matter how experienced a team was, blue-on-blue incidents happened.
