Los Santana, The Destroyer

Black Hand drove the Destroyer down the now quiet night time streets of Los Santana, to his right sat the ghost of Dark Lord in the passenger seat. Black HAnd knew that Dark Lord didn;t need to sit in the seat, but he was mostly just doing it to be civil.

"So.." Dark lord said,
"Yes?"
"where we goin'?""
"Estate house, my temporary housing for now"
"Ah", Dark Lord looked out the window then looked back at Black Hand.
"SO....Your...Friends, what are they like?"
"I thought you already knew"
"Well to me they were just mince meat"
"Why do you ask?"
"well since We're partnering up i Might aswell"
*Sighs*"I have a Paramilitary friend in a Power suit who's the best damn shot I've ever seen named Tyrannt, I also have an incredibely intelligent Android female Named Anna"
"And those Guys from the whole 'Kill Dark Lord' Affair?"
"They aren't my friends, considering what I heard from Tyrannt after I died"
"Still..."
"God you're like a child, Fine. I also have a Gray Ogre friend who's dissapeared to the Himalayas after Atlas took advantage of his anger and made him almost kill a guy, I also have a Friend who's a Psycopathic Mercenary who can shoot two LMGs at once"
"And what of those other people?"
"Oh god, who were they again? ah, A Super SOldier in Power Armor named Atlas, a Self Entitled Smartass Woman 'WHo's independent and don' need no man' named Alice (Even though she seems to frickin hook up with every guy she meets).."
"ooooh, your gossiping"
"The chances of me seeing them again are Nil', hell they could be dead for all i care, anyways, A Superpowered Prick Named Alrick. a badass Spec Ops team leader Named Rosita (Who I actually like(d) because she seems to actually know her shit), Two guys straight out of mortal combat, Some asshole named 'Scott', And finally, a Former PTSD Victim with an Exosuit"
"an Exosuit?"
"Yeah he nearly strangeled Deadeye and Called me Scum, Neo, He was a real Prick"
"He Had PTSD"
"Yeah, I had Chronic Depression, Chronic Anxiety, Night Terrors, Suicidal thoughts, and I had just learned I unintentionally killed 3,000 Marines, I was as worse off as he was, and i could've easily gunned him down. Besides, He basically ditched us when we got to the UN HQ, probably ran off to go drink a bottle in some Veterans home"
"a bit harsh"
"well I'm fucking sorry, I'm forced to be the stable fucking Dark Hero for most of the time, and when i Vent to a FUCKING GHOST, I thought It'd seem the least bit understandable".

Black hand pulled the Destroyer into the long drive way of the Estate house, once he pulled up it started raining, "Great, of course it's raining". Black hand exited the destroyer and ran over to the Door, he unlocked it and hurried inside, turning to lock the door. he turned to face the long hallway only to Dark Lord lounging about on the Chair, "Beign a Ghost is so Fun" Dark Lord said reading a transperant paper. Black Hand shook his head and walked over to one of the back rooms, he then proceeded to take off his armor piece by piece and place it in the large Gray crate. Afterwards Black Hand yawned. Black Hand Walked up the large stairwell, past Dark Lord who was layingdown on the stair railing in a pose.

I could barely hear the call over the gunfire but I heard it, glancing at Zara to find her rather tied up with the power armored meathead. I sprinted over to the rather uncovered position, a few bullets pinging off my armor. I grabbed his right upper arm and squeezed, metal deforming, a few rivets popping and his bone turning to dust, before dragging him and Zara to behind a sizable rock for cover, I kneeled onto the man's chest, "Move and I'll snap your femurs like twigs," I looked up at Zara, "You called?"

"You came..." Zara looked slightly surprised. She was used to the idea that for most Meta-humans she was beneath notice. That he had even had to come was embarrassing though, she glanced downward, "I had him until his friend appeared with a gun. I should not have surrendered, I was weak willed. I should have gone down fighting, we cannot afford to let prisoners be taken." But when it came to the crunch she had wanted to live.

"Can you cut this zip tie?" She nodded towards her back behind which she was bound. She had made quite a mess of her wrists, though she was not the type to complain, certainly not to a Meta, "Oh... and thank you."

The whole Lareylis family plus Màen suddenly was pulled off of their own existence, for a moment, they thought Stone did this and honestly, it wasn't something that was seemingly bad, after all, hot coco never hurt anybody.
But once they saw each other and Anathema in front of them, Alrick flipped.

"Excuse me, WHAT. Why the fuck are you pulling us here?!" However, he didn't seem to even care for the outburst and explained what he had to say.

As the god finished speaking, they all looked at each other and sighed.

"For fuck's sake, why do you want US to have no powers and be super tired while having a grenade with Carbonadium shrapnel in it? It's not even truly fair, what's the point in being a god if it is to do that? Heck I haven't even used my powers correctly since a shit long while. Why target me as well? Because I double jumped on a roof? Big deal, all of those here could do that." Naunet was pissed, the gods were often her only people she could speak to. and she needed people to speak to.

"WHAT. I trained to not feel tired over such things! What the hell man! It's not our fault we were born like this and are now powerful because we either use our imagination or do something else with our regeneration! Not our fault we aren't stupid like those heroes in the comics and tell our weakness to someone not worthy of our trust! Seriously!" Heamet shouted, he was pissed just as much and couldn't see the reason behind it, he trained to be that way, using barriers, portals and blood was something he trained for years to achieve to not be tired while using his powers.
It was simply and purely unfair to him.
Undoing five years of training and hardships was simply stupid and illogical.

However, as much as one would've expected Alrick to shout, flip and get angered, he stayed quiet and said a number.

"Pi. Now fuck off. And if need be, I'll just call upon Stone, but I actually wonder what my life could've been like if I hadn't got any powers. But you know what would be fairer? That you do it with us. After all, it's not like you will be able to manage it for more than... Three days, hold on for three days without powers and then I'll shut up, if you can't do that... Well, give us back our powers and never mess with us again. Because right now, calm as I may seem, I'm rather pissed and honestly, if I had a god killing weapon, I would use it right now because not only is it unfair to do it on everyone compared to both Heamet and I that are clearly the most dangerous here, Naunet on the other hand, just has an absolute defense and figuring out her weakness isn't something so hard to do.
Màen on the other hand just flat out won't be affected, she was literally born with it and her power lies in something our of her plus her natural knowledge. Seriously, fuck off now and put us on our damn Islands."

Màen, just like Alrick, simply nodded and lit up her cigarette again.

"You know bloke, it's not fun to break someone's years of training for your personal fun, god or not. Even Stone wouldn't have got that on us, and he's way more unpredictable than you are. Now as Alrick so colorfully put it, fuck off." She simply looked at him with a poker face, not caring in the slightest, after all, it wouldn't affect her.

The man was crazy.. or perhaps he was not a man at all, perhaps he was some kind of meta-human. She had no idea what kind though, she had never encountered a description of him in her research, but she had never really researched any powered armor user apart from, "Atlas!" she called, "A little help over here!"

She struggled, trying to get her ankles around his neck, though realistically, if he even vaguely knew what he was going, she was not going to succeed with that one. Attacking the wound had seemed the best bet and that had not worked...

Mind control? It would explain a few things. Zara winced at the impact of the crazed man's fists. It probably did nothing to Atlas, but he might well have winded her, "Get his helmet off... and cut these ties, I'll put him under. He will be invaluable as a prisoner."

She didn't imagine he would talk, but a non-talker could be just as revealing under the right circumstances... Kosa was the right circumstances. Zara still had no idea what the other woman did, she didn't want to know, but she could make the most taciturn offender sing like a canary... and still vehemently deny they had said anything.

I chuckled "The thing is, this isn't about my personal pleasure, it's you all tipping the scales a bit too far, and asking me to depower is quite possibly the most stupid thing I've ever heard, because it would literally cause this dimension to cease to exist, and Naunet you can still speak with the gods, you just won't have any way to use your powers." the individuals in the room found themselves without any equipment, "Trust me if I could've shrugged this responsibility on someone else I would've by now." I took a sip of tea through my helmet, "And calm down, it's only 7 hours, Christ you remind me of a teenager who just got their phone taken away." I took another sip of tea. "Also, Stone was the one who suggested I get you all to tone it down a bit."

I heard someone approaching quickly, I turned to find someone wearing the same uniform as the folks attacking, I stood, stomp down hard on the power armored soldiers other arm, effectively destroying it, aimed the M249 at the approaching hostile and spoke, "That's close enough bud."

I frowned, on paper it was theoretically possible for an Olympian subject to be able to fight against a force fifteen times their own without failure. That paper didn't exactly specify what failure was, and I wasn't exactly feeling like finding out, "Make it quick." Stepped to the side a bit to let him at the cripple's form, "Try anything and you die."

As soon as Naunet heard the fact that she could still speak to the gods, she calmed down a good way.

"Oh, well then, but still, do you even realize that Màen won't be affected in the slightest? It's not even her power, it's her actual form-" Naunet spoke, but was suddenly cut off by a sigh from the same person.

"Will you piss off? I know it's not going to do anything to me and he probably knows it better than us, so how about we just take like who we are and stop whining over that bullshit, also, I don't believe you about Stone, it's not his style to ask someone to do something for him, if he wants something he takes it, could I have the real reasons? Because currently, the only people that are capable of holding a speech that can remotely make sense are both me and Alrick. Ironically." Màen spoke, she still wasn't serious but her tone had changed, it felt like she was actually concerned, her cigarette disappeared after a while.
"I know you just made every part of our equipment vanish but could at least give me a pack of cigarettes? I need to pass time. It ain't much, it's not even a weapon and I can't do shit with smoke."

"Even though she could've spared the last word, I just want to know something else, how long is the tire-from-using-powers thing going to stay in motion? I still think that this is bullshit, but I don't want to collapse like an idiot when I've been saying and knowing I could take on something.
I won't brag about something if I can't do it, and if so, well I'll just stay on the island a bit more, after all, you said deserted, that doesn't mean there won't be trees, that only says that there's no civilization. I could always make a house on there and use it as my winter residence." Alrick spoke, he simply kicked back, he didn't have any equipment besides his phone, it wasn't like anything was truly changing.
After all, he did survive a week long trip in his human body in the mountains for a week all alone, surviving on a deserted wasn't much to him and he was already pretty strong.
At the same time, what was Lios to do?

He was a ghost and still part of the Lareylis bloodline, his mere existence was a power in itself.

On the other side, Heamet simply shut up and looked at Anathema in a way that said: "Do what you want! I don't care anymore."

"Oh, I knew I forgot something, Lios will not be depowered since, y'know, he'd die. Stone did in fact ask me because I'm really the only being that can depower someone, or something. As for the tiring, take Atlas for example, he can lift a shipping container full of gold but he'll be obscenely exhausted, or he can throw several cars and still keep going, in short if you decide to use your variant of a spirit bomb you'll want to take a long nap, but you can spam magic missile for days on end before the same happens. Unless that's how things worked with you already... Don't look at my like that I'm in charge of several thousand googols of beings in several universes, I overlook things at times." Then suddenly Mean began smoking, literally, smoke was being emitted from her hair, if Anathema had a face, they'd see him smiling mischievously.

"Ah piss off, you're worse than Stone. I was simply asking if I could get a pack. Although still doesn't seems like something Stone would do, given our ties, I don't think he'd do that, I just feel like it's something you chose to do over your own accord. I'll ask him anyway if I manage to meet him. Now cut the smoke bloke." Màen spoke, noticing the smoke almost immediately, her scot accent however was clearly showing, something that told she was getting highly annoyed.

Alrick simply smirked and kicked back.

"Well well. This ought to be interesting enough, I was growing kinda bored of all those blokes unable to hit me. But even then, I'd say you underestimate my willpower and my durability, both mental and physical. On that part, no one can manage to put me down. Torture means nothing to me, carbonadium or not. Or mental. But anyway, let's see how this will turn out." Alrick snickered a bit before looking at Heamet that had been looking at him with a shocked look on his face.

"What? Don't tell me it wasn't getting boring. What's the point in living forever if you can't spice up your own fights. Yes I stole that quote from Stone. By the way, I'm with Màen, I accept what you're saying, but I don't think you're being fully honest with that and everyone knows gods have all sorts of secrets that they hide by not even speaking about them in the first place. However... I highly doubt that someone such as Stone who is basically even more our father than you are, would pull out something like that out of his ass. By the way, no need for the carbonadium shits, if we're powerless, be it carbonadium, iron or anything else, we'll get wrecked." He spoke, widening his smile in a devious way that screamed: Well, what is it?

"You're telling me that you're abandoning all your powers for seven hours just like that and accept his sudden limitations we had overcame on our own? JUST LIKE THAT?" Heamet spoke, obviously not pleased in the slightest.

"Yeah, that's what I said. Open your ears a bit more lad."

Estate House
6:30am

Black Hand woke up, his eyes increasingly sore and hurtful, "I feel like shit.." He said in a gravely and hoarse voice. Dark Lord struck a pose laying on the other side of the bed, "I know what you mean". Black Hand looked at Dark Lord, "You're really weird" Dark Lord shrugged and seemginly blinked over to the window sil. Black Hand sat up in his bead anr ran hsi hands down his face, before sighing and getting up. "So Buddy oh, where we goin'?" Dark Lord asked floating behind Black Hand. Black hand walked down the stairs and walked into the kitchen, "I'm going after a Gang called 'Hells Warriors Rebirth'". Dark Lord thought back, "Oh yeah, the Hells Warriors, I recruited them". Black Hand peered over at Dark Lord who sat on the edge of the counter top, "They all died VIA that nuke shotgun thing". Black HAnd poured himself some coffee and took a sip, "Whatever happened to the large amoutn of nukes heading for Los Santana". Dark Lord slid off the counter and stood up, "I sent them to the void, in an attempt to save the City". Black Hand gave a suprised look, "....To save my work" "ah". Black Hand took another sip of coffee before heading over to a grand father clock, "Nice clock there" "Not just a clock" Black Hand opened it and pressed a camoflauged button in the back of the clock, "A safehouse aswell". the clock turned and opened to reveal a secret passage, Black Hand headed in and once he reache dthe bottom of the stairs, powered on VIA a switch to reveal a large underground area.

"Where'd you get this place?" "I have my ways" Black Hand said walking over to a Carbon gray cylinder, standing upwards, Black Hand placed his hand on a touchpad that was on the front of it. [Fingerprint identification Confirmed, Welcome master Black Hand] Agon's voiced sounded out. the case opened to reveal an Armored power suit version of Black Hand's armor, "Upgrade?" "Insurance" Black Hand began putting on the armor, locking the pieces in place, turning on the suit functions, and readying hsi equipment. after a good 10 minutes, Black Hand put on the suit. "Calibration test" [Sensors online, Armor durability online, increased movement online, Gadgets online, Suit-Destroyer sync online. Battle ready]. Black Hand walked over to a large Metal paltform that, once he stepped on, lit up to Reveal the Destroyer. "Ah, so this is a vast bunker network to where you can easily organize and plan your operations" "Exactly" Black Hand said climbing in the destroyer. Dark Lord fased through the destroyer and sat in the "Shotgun" seat.

Black Hand powered on the destroyer and drove it on another ramp leading to a dark Cave tunnel, Black Hand turned on the destroyer spotlights and reached a black metal wall, it opened to reveal it was a camoflauged back of a cave. Black Hand drove the destroyer out and down the street leading to the Downtown outskirts of Los Santana, the cave closed behind him. "And a hidden cave entrance, you do plan your stuff out. tell me, how did you get this sutff here?" "Me and Agon worked on some things before the Martian invasion" Black Hand hit the gas and drove down the street.

"Would someone be so kind as to please cut the bloody zip-tie off my wrists?" Zara asked again, sounding a little frustrated at still being bound, "Pretty please? With a cherry on top."

I knelt down beside Zara and unsheathed the knife on my collar, I cut the zip-tie off. "I'm pretty sure you could've just pulled your arms apart really hard, but whatever."

"Say hello to Cthulhu from me and tell him that his teacup is still at my place." Alrick spoke before he disappeared.

Before he could notice the world breaking around him from the teleportation, he landed on an island, decently big.

"Well, time to test out my skills, okay first... Doot doot doot... Ah there, I found the sea, cool, going to put myself there, coconuts maybe? Ah there they are. Woot, something to eat. And we're only here for seven hours? Heck I like it here, I'm going to build my house here, get electricity, get Heamet, make him do a water cleaner and then I'll have common water to have all sorts of things. Woot! Is Lios even there? Nah... He probably had to stay Anathema, or not, it's a wonder. Anyway, breaking that coconut, then getting around making an axe." Alrick spoke, not fazed in the slightest, simply managing everything out for his future stay on the island, he brought his fist upon the coconut and broke it, his hand was slightly red, but breaking coconuts and watermelons was something he had been doing for a while, so it didn't hurt just as much.

"Aw yeah. Coconuts are awesome." He sat on the sand and looked towards the sea.
"How calming, far away from anyone... Nothing to care about... It's awesome. I wonder where I am though... Eh... It's not too hot so it's not Australia, not exceedingly cold so I'm definitely not around Greenland nor Canada. I'm probably in the middle, or in Sweden's many islands. Which could also be a possibility. Meh... Not like I care..." He lied down and looked at the sky.
"Well at least, it's not night time. Not yet."

Màen

Màen on the other hand, didn't even move in the slightest, she smoked a cigarette and lightly chuckled at the mention of not getting cancer from those.

"Not like I can even get sick. Being a sorceress, my body is protected from any kind of natural disease, I'd need to get a magic induced one to get close to be sick, or contract space AIDS. Not like it even exists." However, after a while, she wandered the island starting by the beach, where she had landed first.

"I wonder if he went full joker and put us all on the same island, also, I'm kinda wondering if I'm going to get my blades again, I can't live up to my name if the Gae Bolga disappeared, and I sure as hell don't want to find it again." She spoke to herself.

Oddly enough and despite their predispositions in survival, Naunet and Heamet didn't move, they simply fell asleep.

"That only works if you're built like a gorilla, like you, or they're tied at the front where you can get the proper leverage. Everyone says they can get out restraints, but they always assume their opponent is mentally retarded and retrains their hands in front of them." Zara told him, then shrugged, "Or possibly I just missed out on that part of my education."

In any case, she hadn't particularly wanted to try - she had already cut her wrists while struggling with the guy in the exoskeleton and didn't particularly feel like making it any worse, "Gun?" she prompted, "I am no use to you without a weapon."

Meanwhile Alice and Shane had made it into the woods. There was still gunfire, punctuated by the occasional scream. Alice was fairly adept at non-lethal take-downs, which, under these circumstances tended to involve broken arms, wrists, collar bones or a combination of the above. She threw objects at people, but more often than not the damage was done with a telekinetic cinch that snapped bone like it was twig and left the victim writhing in agony. Shane meanwhile was able to give suppressing fire. Despite its bulky appearance, the suit allowed him to move surprisingly fast. He was a tough, mobile target, hard to hit, harder to damage, occasionally sheltering Alice, occasionally acting as a decoy. They worked well together and chattered over the radio whenever they were separated, though larger weapons, or a lucky shot would take Shane down. Head to head Alice was more or less indestructible, but if blindsided... she was a slightly built woman with a ballistic vest. She would go down very easily. They were holding their own, for now, but another fifty soldiers would definitely change that.

I turned to the tree line and started taking potshots at anything that moved, and although I didn't know it at the time, the lack of light and the fires fucked with my vision, and I sent a burst straight at Alice.

"Hey Anathema, you sure you haven't gone too overboard with them? I mean, they're only living their lives. They can't really know, nerfing them like that isn't cool, especially if you've said that you did it in my behalf. That wasn't cool either." The man spoke, a trench coat flowing with gravity and his various movements.

His characteristic white hair was flowing as well, one could recognize it from anywhere. It was Stonehedge, another god of creation.

"Anyway, I have to be the arbiter again in your fight right? Well let's go, I have my hot coco ready."

Anathema
I paused, "Technically you did ask me, although it wasn't you, but it was you." We were both transported into a massive arena of sorts, it was jungle of sorts, trees reaching into the sky vines dangling downwards, and bushes and shrubs throughout the biome, it stretched infinitely in all directions. I heard the thumping of Cthulhu walking around searching for me Hastur, my team mate was separated from me. I Swung my hammer down which leveled the forest 80 miles in every direction, the hundred foot trees sailed through the air. It would be a good fight, I could feel it.

I turned to the tree line and started taking potshots at anything that moved, and although I didn't know it at the time, the lack of light and the fires fucked with my vision, and I sent a burst straight at Alice.

Something that felt a lot like a huge hammer blow suddenly cleaned Alice's legs out from under her and she went crashing down in the dirt. She snarled something unintelligible, staggered to her feet, or tried to, before ending up fla on her face again. Then the pain set in, like someone had jammed a hot poker through her left calf. She gave a sob, then flicked on the radio, "I'm hit!" she gasped, "I'm..." she let it go, there were still bullets whizzing around. It was hard to focus, but she managed to put up a weak shield, extending in a low dome about a foot above her body. It would deflect stray bullets, but she doubted she could hold it against a concerted attack.

Why was she the one who always got shot, slammed against the floor, thrown down an elevator shaft, crushed under rubble...? She doubted there were many other meta-humans who had sustained quite so many debilitating injuries in the last five years. It really wasn't fair. She gave another sob, pulled out her cellphone. The mystery caller probably wasn't still on the line, though she didn't think to check, she just jammed the phone to her head, "Thank you for the assist stranger, but I've messed up..."

There was a snapping, crunching sound of something large pushing through the undergrowth - Shane. A bullet pinged off his shoulder, then he dropped down next to Alice, "Drop the shield Watcher, I'm getting you out of here."

Some distance away, Zara had been listening to what was going on through her radio, as well as watching Atlas, mostly in case he missed someone outflanking them. It never hurt to have a second pair of eyes. Her eyes widened as she put two and two together, "Allah be merciful... Atlas... I think that was you."

There was no accusation in her tone... if anything she sounded sympathetic. Zara had been around long enough to realize that, no matter how experienced a team was, blue-on-blue incidents happened.

The man spoke, a trench coat flowing with gravity and his various movements.

Stone

He sighed, he knew he somehow created a double of himself and asked him to say that so he could have a better peace of mind.

"How about stop finding loopholes, seriously man, I've been human, I know how it feels to have your powers tripped from you but going as far as creating a clone of me and have him say: You need to nerf them. It's not going to cut it, I'm not going to give them their powers back until the time is up, but I still find it kinda bullshit.
The guy that stripped me of my power actually had reasons, I was getting cocky, in a rather bad way, you know Edge Lord the guy that tried to eliminate Earth's realm? Kinda like him.
But seriously, only Alrick really needed it, maybe Heamet and even then, that's still unfair, in his way it is, he trained to get to that point, unlike Alrick who's powerful on his own." Stone spoke, he grew smaller and simply stood on Anathema's shoulder.

"I hope you know what you unleashed though. I'm going to annoy you even harder, also, don't forget to tell Cthulhu what Alrick said. You know, his teacup."

"I hefted the SAW, "All I got is this, and I don't feel like bum rushing with a glaive, so your gonna have to sit tight." I glanced over to find Mother still malfunctioning, I frowned.

Fox-1 managed to disable the beacon. "There. You can thank me later."

Mr. Grin watched from a distance. It saw several armed men. They looked like-

-his captors. Setting Clark down gently on the ground, it ran in all fours like an animal, and shredded the first soldier it found like tissue paper. It was enraged. It was angry. It wanted to kill those that harmed Clark.
