"Well, at least that's a worry off. However, I'm sure we can manage to find what's up with it during your stay here." Heamet said, lightly relieved over the man's reasons.

"Anyway, how about we go and see what there is to do? We're both immortal in our own ways, human related matters aren't really to my taste anymore so how about we uphold the law a bit?"

"Erm, about that. Technically, I'm not immortal. I don't age, certainly, and I can essentially predict the future, but if somebody were able to block that ability, All I can say is, I've been injured in the past, to extremely severe levels. Now, whether I resurrect immediately after dying or not is still up in the air, but I am capable of taking injuries. As for the second part, yes, I do believe we should probably uphold the law, or at least attempt to do so. I'm getting a 95% chance that the Los Santana national bank is currently being robbed, perhaps we should see what we could do with that. As for fighting, what sort of weapon do you generally prefer using? As I may have mentioned already, I have a hell of a lot of weapons available to me," said Ferdinand before walking in the direction of a rental car place and renting as fast a car as possible, namely a BMW Z8.

Heamet raised an eyebrow at his mention of not being immortal.

"No, I was saying immortal but time wise. I'm not immortal either, if I get hit with my weakness I'll get blasted. Otherwise, I don't age anymore. I manipulate blood, so I blocked off my growth a few years ago.
Same goes for my grandfather too, although his was unintentional.

And by the way, no need for me to get a weapon, I think that even in another universe I would still use these." He grabbed two of his balls in his side pouches around his belt and made them into one clacker.

"I haven't used them in a while and simply managed with blood made stuff, but if it's a robbery, I'll waste the robbers with those." He spoke, getting in the car, although knowing perfectly well he could make a portal to there.
Instead, to lessen the time needed to get there, he put some small barriers made to make the car jump if needed.

"Sounds perfect actually. Check if you feel you need to, otherwise I trust your gut on this. He is your contact." Shane replied, seemingly having had his concerns dealt with.

"Which is why your brother is dangerous to his team mates." Shane replied, cool, calm and collected, "A soldier follows orders because they are part of a larger plan. Sometimes their role in that plan sucks. It isn't exciting, or it's dangerous, but they damned well do as they are supposed to do or the whole plan comes apart at the seams. Like when you pull a cog out of a mechanism."

"This is a twenty first century scenario, we aren't Atilla and his horde of huns rampaging across Europe. We need coordination and discipline, not people running around doing whatever they think is a good idea at the time." he continued, "There is a reason that we have boot camps - it is so that soldiers do what they are told to do immediately and without question. It isn't a place to explore their creativity."

Alrick was lightly surprised by the sudden response, however, he simply smiled in a sly manner.

"I'm unpredictable, that's one of my main features. But anyhow, we were going to talk about SCP at one point." He sighed and looked at her.

"Well, if my instinct is right, either Alice or Atlas should have it, and we got a good combo, they're both in the same place right now.
Alice's manor.
Yes these days we have a lot of manors and stuff, it's odd.
But they'd only have the list.
Not the rest, if we want that, we'd need to go to their headquarters or at least a guard post, both of which I don't know where they could be. All I know is that for now, they're in America.
And considering the fact that this bill is the stupidest idea ever, I'd suggest we'd start looking in the south states.
At least at first." He explained calmly, yet, one could feel the annoyance of speaking about such people radiating off of him.

"You think they have our files?" Laurel asked, blinked, "Oh, that is easier than I thought it would be."

"If I were a human." Laurel added, quite seriously, twisting her head so she could look at at Alrick, "I would support this bill and more. The 'Meta-human' community has caused chaos in the last few years. Los Santos destroyed, the mustard gas attack at the United Nations, that team who trashed Las Vegas. They are frightened and want to protect themselves, their homes and their families. That is why I work with Alice from time to time. She is working very hard to try to make Meta-humans look like humans rather than monsters. She is on television a lot now is she not?"

"It helps being pretty and tiny. She is hard to see as a monster." she said, then lowered her voice to a conspiratorial whisper, "Though I have to confess, one of the things I find very exciting about you is the fact that, outside of Elphame at least, you are far, far more powerful than I am. It is not something I am used to. I feel vulnerable around you and it is definitely a thrill!" she gave a little shiver, then smiled, "I have not felt this young for a long time."

I overheard Alice speaking outside the room, I turned to Shane, "You have any clue what she's doing?"

I replied, "I let you and the pod go a while back. The one who found your number, was in the area as well. I'm not trying to get you killed Ms. Kosa, things are getting hairy and even the CIA think the events surrounding the MHR bill are fishy, and that's rather difficult to do. Especially with those people.
However, if need be, she would dismantle SCP herself.

Black Hand drove the Destroyer donw the roads, swerving between cars, Tyrannt recieved a comms alert on his Comms. "Uh Oh" "What?" "Bank robbery, some crazed robot, a Vigilante is currently trying to stop them, another unidentified target entered VIA crashign through the roof, they're asking for Iron Mountain assistance". Black Hand locked the Bank coordinates on the Destroyer's GPS, "We'll give them their asssitance, I'll drop you off at the nearest Iron Mountain security center, I'll head to the bank". Black Hand stopped the destroyer fast, opening the top of the Destroyer to let Tyrannt hop out. Tyrannt ran into the building as Black Hand Speeded off twoards the Bank.

John Brakenbrook

John was waiting by the Police barricade along with the 50 or so swat officer outside the bank, as Black Hand's destroyer pulled up. the Cops were unsure of what to think, as the massive tank like vehicle stopped just feet from the barricade. "Hold your fire" John said holding a hand up, Black Hand dawned in his new suit stepped out from the Destroyer as it closed up behind him and approached the John. "Who are you?" "Black Hand, I'm here to assess to deal with the, 'Unkillable robot'" John looked at the Bank, with the massive amount of police spotlights shot at it, and the number of helicopters hovering over it. "I sent in an operative a few minutes ago, he hasn't come out. If you can take him down go ahead". Black Hand nodded and pulled out his grappeling hook and shot it at the roof of the bank, and was then pulled to the top. Black Hand approached the Hole in the roof silently, he peeked in and saw the Robotic figure, a Man who appeared to have arms made out of stone, and a Man in a red mask and hood. Black Hand waited to see if any of them made a move.

Finland

Alrick propped his head up again in surprise.

"Wait what? What? No I wasn't talking about what you were saying, don't get the wrong idea.
Even if I did say that in the wrong way..." He lowered his head lightly.

"When I say my bullshit sense is tingling because of my sister, I mean something's happening where she is and it feels like I will call bullshit on what's happening.
It has nothing to do with you, or what you said, it was actually rather pleasant." Alrick explained, the glow in his blue eye was brighter from the sudden emotion.

"And I was annoyed because I actually don't want to go now to save her rear. That's the reason."

Naunet simply grumbled and nodded.

'AND THAT'S THE THING I GET WITH BECAUSE I SPOKE MY MIND. FUCKING GREAT PEOPLE. FUCKING GREAT.' She thought, rather loudly for anybody able to hear her.

'Be a soldier they say, it'll be nice they say, you won't be stripped of your freedom of thought they say... Fucking asshats and stuck up twats.' She grumbled some more as she waved for everyone to get outside.

"Come on, we don't have the whole day, get the fuck out of there."

Alice held up a hand to Atlas, "Sorry, I'll put this on speakerphone. I wanted to get the ball rolling on this as quickly as possible."

"Apologies." she spoke to the person at the far end of the phone, "I needed to get the ball rolling. You said 50 plus foot mobiles. Armed and armored. Can you be more specific on that last point, level one kevlar? Atlas-wannabe suits? Are we talking small arms? MANPADs? Also, I've just been asked... who are we dealing with?"

Out front Zara was getting people into vehicles. It wasn't much of a difficult task. About half of the dozen odd guards had vehicles so they were hardly being forced to squeeze, just really to make room for the people who came in with the helicopter.

"Commander Lareylis!" she jogged over as soon as she noted the other woman, snapping a crisp salute, "We need orders. Where is the rendezvous point? Are we travelling individually or by convoy? Are we sending any scouts ahead? Information is unclear as to the nature of the threat."

"Oh... I am not going to pretend I understand that." Laurel smiled, then nestled her head back against his shoulder - there were no hard feelings there, "She is a big girl. I'm sure she can look after herself if it's just someone talking drivel.

"In any case... I have an important question." she paused for a moment, considering her words, "I know I said I did not want people to know what was going on between us straight away... am I someone you would want to meet your friends and family?"

Hartman was not pleased. "Someone gave us away. Godamn it!" He turned on the microphone. "Gorman! Get ready to pull your men out. This operation is compromised." "Affirmative, commander." "I want a full sweep of all communications in the last twelve hours. If we have a leak, I want them found." The hidden soldiers prepared to escape unnoticed.

Elsewhere, Carton Langley still say at the bar, seven drinks in but hardly feeling the effects. "She should've been here a while ago....cold feet, or am I just wasting my fucking time?" He out his fourth cigarette. "She better be worth all this trouble."

Kosa manor

Naunet still evacuated everyone, and it was going fairly smoothly, however, at one point, Zara came up to her and asked her where was the rendez-vous point, whether they were travelling in convoy or not and if they needed to send scouts.

"Well, I don't think scouts are needed since they know the place, however, what is probably sure is that we'll travel into many small convoys to split up the enemy forces if anything, if there is any casualties, we'll have them minimized and the rendez-vous point... Well I have no idea either, Iron man just told me to help getting everyone out of here. All I know." Naunet spoke, she gave advice, something she didn't think anyone would even follow considering the color of her prior speech.
Hopefully, Zara would simply get to Shane or Alice and manage this out, especially the rendez-vous point since she had no idea where it was.

'For fuck's sake... I don't know where that blasted thing is, seriously, who came up with this idea? Let's not tell the two that are evacuating everyone where everyone is supposed to meet up! Woo! Idiocy!'

Finland

Tilting his head lightly to the side, Alrick spoke again.

"Well, despite you wanting no one to know what's happening, I'd say yes, I would like to introduce you to my family. Heamet already knows you and probably knew what was going to happen, it probably wouldn't bother him.
Naunet would probably not have any objections, after all, if Heamet's here, that means I won't live alone and lonely until the latter comes up. Plus, he gave the old me me a good lesson.
He told me to appreciate what I already had.
In all seriousness though, with my family's existing craziness, I don't think anyone would have objections, Fae or not.
So don't you worry about that." Alrick spoke, a reassuring smile forming on his face.

"I bet when Heamet will come back and see us he'll just look at us and shrug like: Eh, it's your deal."

"I can't tell people to leave without a destination to meet at." Zara said, staring at a point just above Naunet's head, "If I may make a suggestion Commander?"

She took a step forward, pitching her voice so nobody else would hear, "You were put in charge, the decision is yours. Either you can pick a spot or I will. I would suggest an isolated spot with limited access ways so we can watch it, somewhere such as Lake Placid. Also, we have zero knowledge of enemy positions and possible ambush sites. I will not organize any scouting parties, as per your orders, but I would urge you to reconsider."

"Something spooked Commander Kosa. If I were an SCP Commander, I might do something to spook her and cause her to evacuate her forces, giving me an opportunity to hit them out in the open rather than on their home turf. Also, Kosa is providing a rear guard. That move was completely predictable. If this is some kind of a trap they will know she will stay back, which is to say they will know we are minus at least one one heavy hitter." she paused, "So a perfect opportunity to destroy a portion of her support troops, leaving her more vulnerable when they come for her."

"Or worse, they could take prisoners. You've met Kosa... what do you think she would do if they offered to swap her for a dozen of her people?"

"So feel free to tell people... though Heamet had better at least give you a high-five - I like to think that I'm a pretty good catch. And if he calls me 'grandma' I will do something truly horrible to him."

After a moment she looked up at Alrick again, "So what do you want to do now?"

Kosa manor

Naunet looked at her, she completely understood what she meant, after all, she was in amidst the action and in that state, her brain worked faster and better than any moment of the day, able to improvise or make a tactical change of plans by seeing how many possibilities there could be in mere seconds.

"I don't know the topography of the region so I trust you on this, however, since you pointed it out just now, we know nothing of the enemy's position, heck, they just may have not positioned at all yet.
I don't feel any offensive presence, and the small bombs I put have not exploded yet, be it because of animals or people.
Organize four small troops of minimum two people, they'll search the woods first. Then they'll search elsewhere, if I'm allowed to so after everyone left, I'll scout as well.
Making it short, we go to lake placid as you said and we organize small duos of scouts, if they find anything, they return, no need to fight until they've came back unless it's for survival.
At least that'll make it better on the diplomatic side." She then pondered the possibility of having prisoners taken, as Zara spoke again.

"They're probably here to take her too, so prisoners will be a priority to get her out of here. Which is a problem... I'd say someone could disguise themselves as her... But there's no way that'll fool them if I did, and they'll feel if she is a meta or no when they'll get there... Your take?"

Finland

Alrick lightly chuckled at the grandma part of her sentence.

"Well, you know he is from Finland, he doesn't call me Alrick because it's a form of respect for him, even if it does sound rather... Well pejorative in our time, but I'll ask him he calls you by your name if that's any better.
And he doesn't need to give me a high five, although he just may do something else that's his style like being way too happy and cheery or something.
When he gets hyped or happy there's just no stopping him, I've lived with him for five years and I already feel like I've known him like he was my stupid albeit fun and cool brother" He explained, still smiling.

"Well, as much as I want to stay in the couch potato mode for now, I guess we'll have to help Naunet out a bit." Just then, his phone rang, a cartoonish face of Naunet with a bubble that said help in capital letters flashed back and forth.

"Speak of the devil, her alarm got activated. How about it? Do we go?"

"Commander, can we really pass up something like this?" Hartman frowned. " Fox-1, a bunch of unpowered soldiers is not our priority. Our priority is Ms. Kosa. "It'll be easier to knock out her ground forces and leave her largely unguarded, Commander." Hartman sounded somewhat angrier. "And risk men over non-Metas?" "Would you rather they get shot to pieces when her ground team is in a defensive position?" There was silence on the line. "Fox-1, make the call."

Fox-1 gathered his men, and set then up in a defensive position. They 'acquired' a large garbage truck to block the road when the convoy came through. They waited.

"Well, suit yourself. I'll be grabbing a few things quickly. I'll be back in a second. Wortwörtlich,"
With that, Ferdinand activated his time machine and warped towards the arsenal where all his weapons were stored. Grabbing for himself a monofilament-edged cavalry saber and a 9mm semi-auto pistol quickly, he decided to also pack a few more little toys in case of emergency, picking up a few more weapons that he had a 80% or greater chance of using. placing it all into a conveniently sized bag, he traveled back to Los Santana, arriving exactly a second after he left, which prompted him to say to Heamet "I told you so. Now, let's get going." before starting the car and driving with as much speed as possible to the Los Santana National Bank, guided by GPS and protected from collisions by his foresight. this also prompted a casual remark to Heamet, with Ferdinand saying "You know, I ought to get a quicker car than this. It just doesn't go all that fast in my own opinion. Maybe I should see what I can do about getting a jet-powered car"

"You are allowed to do whatever you want. You are the Commander." Zara said, her expression neutral, hands folded behind her back, "My take would be to change the plan slightly - Do not scout using foot mobiles, scout using vehicles and only focus on the routes out of here, which are suburban streets. It will save some time, albeit at the loss of discretion. Any approach through the woods will, hopefully, be blocked by Atlas and Watcher."

"Scouting the Lake also seems like a good idea, although it is a few hours from here, so we would want to be on the move before they arrive, maybe keep everyone in radio contact, maybe have the main body take more circuitous routes to the destination?"

"The disguise would work if we were protecting anyone but Kosa." she said, "You imagine people can sense a Meta-human. I can't, Zupan can't, and I have seen no evidence to suggest that Kosa can either. You are probably the only person in the organisation who can... though that being said, we do have five normal senses that need to be deceived. Most of the staff are male, and none of the female staff are short enough to be Kosa. However, the main problem is that Kosa would happily martyr herself to save one of her people."

She paused, then added, "Also, if you just sent a text message to bring another Meta to the party, I would applaud your decision on a professional level... but on a personal level. If I were you I would take this as an opportunity to prove how invaluable you are to this team. I wouldn't let another Meta steal my show."

There was a reason Shane kept Zara hanging around, she offered good advice but did what she was told even when she disagreed. She stood, waiting to hear Naunet's views before she went back to the rest of the troops and 'made it so'.

Do we go?"

"He can call me whatever he likes so long as it doesn't make me sound old." Laurel said with a smile, rather reluctantly lifting her legs from off Alrick's lap and sitting up properly.

"In my vision for the rest of the day there wouldn't have been much sitting on this couch." she said with a smile that promised all kinds of interesting things, "But if your sister needs help, then you should go to her. Did you say she was with Kosa and Atlas before? I suppose we can get those files while we are at it."

"Kosa and Atlas... huh." she frowned at the thought of the two of them working together, "That will be an interesting match-up."

"Anyway, do you want me with you?" she asked, "Because if you do, I'll go and get ready."

Your take?"

In a quiet ranch, The Gunslinger sat on the porch of a modest sized ranch house, plucking the strings of a guitar. Next to his chair was a cane, which he used to get around the grounds easier. His leg, even with magical healing, did not heal correctly, leaving him with a permanent limp. He strummed his guitar, humming. He drew one of his revolvers at the sound of someone approaching. A pair of dark suited individuals stood before him, they're faces unchanged by the sight of a fun pointed at them. "What do you-" Creele cut himself off. He knew what they wanted. "I told you, I'm done." "We're not here to offer you a job." He spoke slowly, in a monotone voice. "Then what do you want, soldier boy?" They said nothing, but approached slowly. Creele fired a shot at the Ground in front of them. "Close enough." One of them raised a hand, and a dart flew from his sleeve, striking Creele in the arm, which went numb. He dropped his gun. "Sons of bitches!" He stumbled forward, taking a swing at the closet agent. He easily dodged, and Creele fell to the ground. "NO!" The agents grabbed him by the arms, and began dragging him, kicking in screaming. "LET GO YOU JACKBOOTED SONS A BITCHES!" Creele thrashed about. "MOTHERFUCKERS!" One of the agents smashed him in the face with the butt of his pistol. They dragged him into the back of a van. "We have the target." "confirmed."

I was unsure if the phone had been put down or left behind, "Ms. Kosa are you still there?"

???
I sighed in relief, "Most likely level III or IV, there may be a few power armored individuals but that's unknown at this time, 90% of the forces are armed with M4 variants with a few SAW gunners and marksmen throughout. There are also several Stingers, and Javelin systems, my assistant may be able to do something about them but I'm not sure. Any ideas you have in mind, put it into action now."

I frowned, on the spot planning wasn't my forte, what worried most wasn't numbers, it was the AT rockets, I could take a few 40mm grenades but a missile would ruin my day, The wings on my back faded as I dissipated them to make myself a smaller target, I looked over at Alice, "Any ideas?"

'Ah blast. If I'm truly the only one here capable of feeling whether or not they're a meta it's going to get bad. My bullshit sense is tingling.'
She thought, she honestly didn't know what to do.

"Well, I don't care in the slightest for glory. Honestly, I can live without, I'm here to help. Go ahead an form the scouting teams with vehicles, but I also want some in foot, just in case they need to defend themselves.
And what do you mean I sent another mess- oh, the alarm app in case something happens. I see." She spoke, tapping her shoulder, she spoke up again.

"Go ahead, and set this plan in motion, I'm going to coordinate my brother." Naunet lightly smiled, a very light confident one.

"Hmm... Well, I'm not against you getting in the fight, after all, you'll get to make use of Excalibur. I already stored it in my memory so I can replicate it.
Get your fighting stuff on, we're going back to America. You'll also meet my sister, she's pretty fond of anything mythological, you guys will get along just fine.

By the way, you'll be able to meet the gods, you know, Ra, Horus, Khepri, Bastet, etc... She represents Maat, she's her embodiment. Although, without the powers over everything." Alrick explained, getting his jacket off the floor and getting his pants on.

"Don't worry, once it's done, we'll get back here anyway. To possibly do all sorts of interesting things." He smiled still, although in a rather sly manner.

Materializing his sword, he called Lios back and briefed him on the situation and sent him over to Naunet.

'... So that's why I called you back, go with sis now.'

'Alright, and you better come up soon, I'm not going to wait for you guys and waste all my glyph power on mere pawns.'

"Eh... I don't know, I mean, I have teleport devices, wouldn't you prefer that? That'll get you anywhere faster than anything. Or just ask me for portals.
My bullshit sense is tingling. Ah blast. Let's get this fight over with and quick. I may need you with me for a fight about to break elsewhere." Heamet explained vaguely, however, his expression changed wildly, going from happy to rather annoyed and eager to end it.

"My bullshit sense is actually double tingling. Both here and with my sister. Bordel. Fallait que ça tombe maintenant."

Ferdinand replied while sending the Z8 through a particularly sharp turn "Well, it isn't just about getting to a location quickly. First of all, there is an innate amount of style with such a vehicle, particularly if well enough entwickelt. Secondly, the sheer adrenaline rush one goes through when driving a sufficiently fast or powerful car, when it feels like the car is actively trying to fight you or when it is travelling so quickly and responds smoothly and swiftly enough that it feels like another part of your body. That is something that true car enthusiasts long for, and is one of the main reasons I actually use a car rather than any other sort of vehicle as my main mode of transportation. As for the fight about to break out elsewhere, of course I'll help. my voraussicht has a 99% chance of those attacks having no justifiable reason, and thus they qualify as things that should be stopped."
Arriving at the Los Santana national bank, Ferdinand took out his bag full of equipment, bringing out his saber and sheathing it, ready to draw at a moments notice. doing the same with his 9mm pistol, he grabbed a high-powered ion-EM heat emmiter/cutting device and strapped it to his back. determining himself as ready for battle, he deactivated the holographic shell showing what was normal clothing to reveal his costume, at which point he walked up to the nearest policeman, a plainclothes officer and asked "Hey, you know what's going on? Some sort of robbery or something?"

John saw the man approaching one of the officers and sighed, he walked over. "Jackson I'll take it from here" John said gesturing to the officer to go back to the barricade. John looked at the man, carrying what seemed to be a pistol out in the open.

Heamet literally went through the barricade, it wasn't something he hadn't done before, he was almost used to it by now and honestly didn't care anymore.
