United Nations Headquarters

Slayer crept through the Ventilation shaft, he looked down one of the grates to see what seemed like a meeting room, Slayer used one of his wrist blades to pry the Grate off and he set it ont eh bent shaft infrotn of him. Slayer dropepd down onto the carpeted floor of the large UN meeting room, it had many seats, each naming the member that sat, but they weren't to be found. "This is Odd" Slayer drew out his rifle and looked around, he saw the main podeum and walked up to it. Slayer inspected the Podeum and noticed a sort of computer under it, he picked up the computer to see it was a laptop, Slayer set the laptop on the podeum and activated it, the system seemed to be locked with a password, "Easy enough" Slayer got to work, using his system hacking protocals he broke the code. Slayer found some interestign developments in the laptop, "So....it seems these UN are Hunting down the members of yissgrildal, yissdragili, yis- scratch it, whatever. God, these guys are even bigger political scumbags than the Tatarians". Slayer closed the Laptop and proceeded to one of the backrooms just behind the large wall, Slayer approached the metal door that was to the far left of the podeum, easily he broke the lock and entered. the Room seemed to be a database room, Slayer unhooked his helmet uplink and linked to the Database, "Great.....100+ members, all in seperate capitols.....this is totally not worth the credits" Slayer unhooked his helmet from the database and began searching for the nearest UN member, "The President of the United States, closest one. guarded by Nato troops, heh, should be fun cutting through them". Slayer exited the room and jetted back up to the ventilation shaft, he quickly used his jetpack to get bakc throguh the Shaft and back outside. Slayer looked to the south, the direction of what seemed to be this place's capitol, and the president. Slayer jet packed off of the roof and started twoards the direction of the Capitol.

(OOC: Anowa if you could TG me where Slayer would look next for the UN, that'd be great)

5 Years Later ACT 2
President Kurtis Jackson
I sat backstage currently swirling a half full glass of Daniels around. reflecting on the past 5 years. It was hectic that was for sure, the hassle of getting the materials to clean up LS, NY, Las Vegas and DC, arguably the four most important cities in America, the AI Mother as well as Iron Mountain were a major help in cleaning up the radiation not only in LS but Vegas and Chernobyl as well, that last one got the US a few brownie points from the UN, like we didn't have enough, Korea got Stomped by NATO after the Marine Forces there were overwhelmed, the peninsula was united again after nearly 70 years, and as always Canada was the last out making sure everyone was cozy and clean, I chuckled at the thought.

The most surprising thing to happen (in my opinion) was the fact that Amendment 22 was repealed, meaning I could run for a third election... which I just won, I thought of my new employees, most specifically one Andrea Aurelio. The woman was like an ethnic melting pot, Spanish name, born in Russia, looks Irish, she was the new Secretary for Health and Human services, and considering her credentials I jumped at the chance to hire her.

Something more close to him.. in a classified sort of way, however was the disappearance of Anchor team's leader, Colonel David Kowalski, an old friend, the man had been AWOL for 5 years, something that shouldn't be possible for this day and age, we should've found him by now but we haven't even found a trace. The JSWD even made a team to track him down, Olympus II essentially better versions of Anchor team. Supposedly, from witness accounts before he disappeared, people saw Atlas become an angel.. I wasn't religious but I felt sorry for whomever decided to attack him.

As for the Martians well... Olympus Mons erupted, something that was thought impossible and pulled the red planet into an ice age, chances are anything that was up there is dead. and with the tech that Mother gave us perhaps Mr. Musk could finally send his mission to mars up there soon.

I filled my glass up again and reveled in the glory of winning a third term.

(OOC: let's do it better this time.)

Gates was sitting down in his headquarters, feet on his desk, watching cameras of different areas of the city, listening to police scanners, and watching the news. He may be a mercenary for hire, but he still kept up with everything. For him, it could be days before his next payday, maybe months. However, despite his temper and carefree attitude, he waited patiently. On the news, he saw a few politicians debating about the welfare of the people. "Politicians," he said. "Like the current ones can do anything anyway." Then Gates got up and warmed up some leftovers as he waited for his next payday.

I was thinking one of the heroes or villains could give my character a call or maybe signal my character.

Tenere Maximum Security Prison, El Cajon

Tenere Maximum Security Prison. One of the most secure supervillain prisons in the entire Western United States. "Tenere'' literally is the Latin word for "Hold". The Allies had brought the Axis here 5 years ago, after their attack on the Allies' headquarters. They were each placed in cells that would dampen or contain their abilities. Thunder was placed in a cell bounded by magic, Livewire was placed in a cell that had high levels of humidity and Velocity was placed in a cell with high gravity. Each of them prevented them from using their powers and the others were stripped of their weapons and accessories and placed in ordinary cells.

A prison guard was doing a routine check of the cells when he was watching the monitors. He could see that Velocity's heart beat was really high. He didn't think nothing at first until it flatlined. The guard then ran to the cell, stopped the gravity and went to observe Velocity. He didn't seem to be breathing. The guard grabbed his keys and unlocked one of Velocity's cuffs. As soon as Velocity's hand was free, he grabbed the guards keys and punched the guard unconscious. He then freed himself before locking the guard up. "Man it's good to be free again." He then made his way over to the other cells and freed the Axis. "You are welcome. Now, how about we go get those Allies goons?" Thunder rubbed his hands from the cuffs. "No. Not so soon. But, I say we do something different." Thunder turned to the rest of the Axis and then looked at the cells. "How about....A breakout?" Thunder smiled and the Axis then freed the rest of the supervillains that were at the prison. Before they made their leave, Techno used his repulsors to burn a message into the wall of the prison. It said "CAN'T KEEP US CAGED FOR LONG".

The masked assassin known as Ulrich sat in his private quarters at the Sanctuary in Chicago, the home of the Crimson Serpent Guild. Ulrich sat shirtless for the moment, but kept his mask on. He never took it off. His upper body was covered in numerous scars he had earned over the years. He let out a heavy sigh. He would be going out on a contract soon, but for the moment he would rest.

President Jackson, Oval office, one week after elections.
My right arm whirred as I signed a few treaties and trade agreements with the Gaian Islands, I was still getting used to the metal appendage, it carried an uncomfortable weight what with it's steel construction.

I sighed and stood before turning towards the window in the historical office. The treaties and other such duties of my position weren't what worried me, it was the bill that had recently been introduced to senate that was worrying me, Senate Bill 3755 AKA "The MHR Act", something he was troubled about. I still hadn't read through my copy for review, hell I don't think Senate's read the 974 page doorstopper, Ms.Kosa it's main public opposer probably hasn't read the whole thing either, and from what Ms. Aurelio has read, has her pulling her hair out from the supposed PR nightmare, Mr. Brown my defense secretary says it'll be worth it in the end. I'm honestly not sure, on one hand it'll prevent things like the Las Vegas massacre from happening again, but on the other hand it's not necessarily constitutional.

I walked back over to my desk and opened one of it's cupboard doors within was an unopened bottle of Jack Daniels whiskey, I could afford better that's for sure but my days in the rangers accustomed me to cheap liquor, I sighed wondering how things could get even more stressful.

Atlas, Kosa Manor, Long Island NY
I walked up to the gate of the decently sized manor on Long Island. Finding the abode wasn't hard, at all in fact, Google was a major help and for someone as high value as Alice Kosa I expected more security than a gate, some fencing, and a few cameras. Maybe she had motion lights and a rather vicious sprinkler system, who knew.

I jumped over the gate and landed on the cobble driveway leading to the woman's garage, I silently made my way to the door before hitting a snag, the door would make a shit load of noise if opened, 'I swear my lack of forsight is gonna be my downfall.' I then facepalmed my helmet realizing my plan was overly complicated... and creepy as fuck, I walked down the darkened path leading to the frontdoor before plucking a feather out of my wing and stuffing it into the mail slot, my hand went through as well, I gazed at the delivery method before realizing how easy it would be to stuff a bomb in there, a decent sized bomb, 'I've seen IEDs smaller than that.' I glanced up at the camera silently recording me, 'I wonder if the halberd on my back is gonna send the wrong message... nah' I shook my head before ringing the door bell and flying away, east to Chicago, to visit another old friend of mine.

Alrick was sitting in his chair, his laptop on his lap, translating something in Finnish to English, he finished it fairly quickly and way before the deadline, meaning he would get a bonus with the money already given to him with the translation.

"Woot! Finished it! Now I can eat my ramen and play games again. It's been such a long time since I haven't done that. All this because of Aegis... Meh, I guess it does have it's advantages, being favored by the public is always nice, especially when it gives you stuff like a stable paycheck from the government every once in a while, gods I love Finland. Plus the people are super nice here." Alrick spoke, Heamet just sat across the room, playing video games on his own.

"Told you. Plus, Finland in the future is going be even better, although yes, the Nordics will be just Finland, including Greenland, but who cares, they still kept their money and shit, plus it solved some political tensions." Heamet spoke, still concentrating on his game.

"Well, more of a reason to stay alive. At least I know Finland isn't a psychotic dictatorship in the future. Which is good." As he said those words, Laurel came back to his mind, he wondered where she had been these past months, in a way, Alrick missed her.
"By the way Heamet, would you happen to know where Laurel disappeared?"

"I reckon she probably left for her own plane of existence now, we could probably summon her again. However, we'd need to have a good reason. Otherwise, we can just get into her plane of existence, which we know next to nothing about." Heamet responded, pausing his game and looking at his grandfather.

"We could do that, but we'd need Naun's approval for that, after all, we just may fuck up everything if we enter the place." And as soon as he finished speaking, his sister entered the room.

"Hey! How's it going? Still playing games or working? I just finished a meeting about the Meta-human registration act, sounds like a bunch of nonsense to me, but people are backing it up so it's going to be annoying for us. Even if the Nordics don't take it into account, mostly because of us and our influence in the place. Gods I love northern Europe." She spoke, her sun disk floating around.
"What's with the looks? Something to ask?"

"Ehm, yes. We would like to know if we could get into Laurel's plane of existence, if she's gone back into it. If not, we would like you to see where she is. I'd like to see her again, we didn't really manage to clear out why we have powers." Alrick answered being highly calm.

"Eeeeeh... I could conduct a search but I wouldn't recommend breaking into Alfheim like that... Unless what you want to do is a suicide mission." Naunet answered, her finnish accent showing up.

"Well, at least try to search for her." Heamet chimed in.

"I will, don't worry about that, but don't go and do something stupid without me, at least, if you're doing something stupid, let me join." She laughed genuinely and smiled before going out to search for Laurel.

Andrea Aurelio/Jezebel
I sat at my desk at the middle of the night reading this epic of bureaucratic BS 'Seriously you don't need a 974 page bill.' I then thought back to it's first write up, and the straight up denial of congress to read nearly 1500 pages, I shuddered at having to read that.

I looked back at the whopping stack of paper, it was a decent bill, if you didn't take the time to read it, RFID Chips, special prisons, armed response units, and the induction of The SCP Foundation into the government alphabet soup, those were just a few things outlined in the first quarter of the bill.

I groaned and leaned back on my chair, I gazed over at the clock, turns out it wasn't midnight, it was 5:43 in the morning, "...Fuuuck...", although I didn't technically need to sleep, I helped calm me down, and since I didn't sleep I'd need an abnormal amount of coffee to avoid snapping. With a sigh, I stood from my chair, and made my way to the cafeteria.

"We have movement by the front gate." Alice Kosa didn't keep the best security in the world. She wasn't going to live her life in fear because she was a Meta-human, and she was more than capable of dealing with the run-of-the-mill stalker types. Still, there was Aegis equipment in the other garage, so it paid to keep some security around - that stuff was dangerous in the wrong hands. Right now one of the security force had noticed Atlas.

"What do you see?" came the crackling reply over the radio.

"Obvious Meta-human, huge, armed and armored. Had wings."

There was a pause from the other end of the line, "You think its him?"

"Possibly." the guard didn't want to commit to that kind of answer, "Though if it is, its a pretty big coincidence when we have Triglav due to arrive here within the hour. He seems to be gone."

"I'll inform the commander. Stay alert you'll be relieved from your Station shortly, I am going to issue Milkors with some of that new HESH ammunition." the radio chattered back.

"Roger that." the guard in the office replied. He replayed the recording. Could that be him?

It took Alice all of about a minute to get to the camera monitoring station. She was dressed smartly in a grey skirt-suit, "Hey Wilson!" she greeted the guard cheerfully, "Seen another squirrel?"

"Haha, very funny." Wilson replied, rewinding the recording to the point where the giant suited guy came in.

"Well I'll be damned." Alice whistled, "After five years. What the hell did he put in my mailbox?"

"Could be a trap." Wilson advised.

Alice shook her head, "No. I know Atlas, if he wanted me dead he'd come through the front door guns blazing. He's not the kind to sneak around. Just radio to Triglav, tell him to keep his eyes peeled, we don't want his helicopter getting knocked out of the sky. I'm going to go and collect the mail."

Half an hour later the helicopter touched down. Immediately a pair of suited men with P90s hopped off, exchanging a quick challenge and response with a trooper in full black combat armor and a grenade launcher. They were followed by a man and a woman. He was an average looking man in a finely tailored suit. She was young, pretty despite the black fatigues she was wearing, hazel eyes studying the dark field with ill-concealed suspicion. Alice was there to meet them. She was about to make a greeting, but the man spotted her first "Commander Kosa!" he declared, "As I live and breathe you look more beautiful each time I see you... and slightly shorter."

"Commander Zupan." Alice greeted him formally, offering a hand, which he shook, "It's been too long Shane. Though, as it turns out your visit may have been more timely than expected. Do you have the suit?"

"The metal one... I do."

"More timely than expected." the woman spoke up for the first time, "Might this be why your men are carrying grenade launchers? You are expecting company in powered armor."

"She's smart... is she...?"

"Lieutenant Zara Delic, Nightjar." Shane introduced her.

Alice extended her hand to the younger woman who shook it firmly, "It is an honor to meet you Commander."

"Just Alice." she corrected, "I'm not a huge fan of titles... and yes, you are right, but I will explain more when we get inside."

She led the way from the Helipad back into the manner, making sure Shane and Zara were settled and had drinks in their hands (brandy and water respectively), before she jumped right to the point, "Atlas is back."

Shane raised an eyebrow then nodded, "And you're worried what that might mean."

"He left this." Alice reached into her pocket, fumbling around until she found the feather, "This, though I have no idea what it means."

"A white feather... it's a challenge." Shane said immediately, "He's calling you a coward, wants to draw you out into the open where you are more vulnerable."

"I hate to be contrary." Zara put in. She spoke good English but it was still tinged with a South-slavic accent, "That is not what it is. You burn it and you summon the angel to your location." there was a pause as the other two looked at her. She shrugged uncomfortably, "Our organisation has always rated that one as one of our bigger threats. I made it my job to research him in case I ever had to face him. He is of Polish extract."

"Huh... a Slovak, a Croat, a Bosniak add a Pole and we could be playing Slavic happy families." Alice commented, "Do either of you have a lighter?"

There was a universal shaking of heads, "Okay, I'll do this the manual way." she began summoning up heat to unleash on the feather...

"Wait!" Zara blurted out, "Just don't burn it yet, give me two minutes."

She came back two minutes later with one of the Milkor grenade launchers and an armored vest. Alice raised an eyebrow and the other woman shrugged, "You can't be too careful."

"Alright then, let us find out what Atlas wants." without further ado, Alice unleashed a torrent of energy into the feather, dropping as it burst into flames. It was fully consumed a foot above the floor boards.

Atlas
I felt the pull of the burnt feather, "Already? Alice doesn't wait does she. I tapped into the 'Aether' and focused on the area the feathers ashes were scattered, I popped out of existence amid the sky and tore my way through the nth dimension towards Alice's home.

Within said home there was a blinding flash, a heavy whump, and an obscene amount of soot and smoke, I tore off my helmet as carbon had fill whatever gaps in it, it could find out, including my mouth and nose, "*Cough fuck..*hack* .. I really..." I spit a large amount of black powder on to the floor "...Really need to work on that. *cough*" I looked around and noticed everyone else coughing and/or armed, I snorted the clogging black soot out of my nose before sneezing, "Fucking hell... sure hope those Milkors got DP rounds in them or else they ain't gonna do much..." I coughed again expelling more soot, "Where did this shit all come from!?" I spoke to no one in particular.

"HESH actually." an unknown woman said matter-of-factly. She had an Eastern European accent, though her English was good. She wore black fatigues, with a small circular image of Athena on the left shoulder, "Powered armor has so many little cogs and gears... it spalls quite spectacularly."

Another man next to her made an effort to clear his throat. He looked like the son of some kind of Russian oligarch, though he had the same logo in the form of a lapel pin, "As for..." he paused to cough, "Where it came from, that would be me."

"It's going to take days to get this out of the carpet." Alice commented, rolling her eyes in (possibly feigned) irritation. She was wearing a grey suit and had the exact same lapel pin as the gentleman who had just admitted to supplying a whole lot of men with grenade launchers, "Well I hope you're satisfied, I'm pretty sure I can't explain this to the insurance company..."

"So. Atlas. Back from the dead." she said, her tone switching to one of careful neutrality, "And you left me a calling card which Miss Delic told me I should burn. I assume you have business you want to discuss? Though if you have something to wear that will not destroy any more of my furniture you are welcome to stay for pierogi, business or not."

That comment earned a smirk from the oligarch's scion and a concerned frown from the woman with the grenade launcher, presumably 'Delic'. Alice, it seemed, had been busy for the last few years.

After conducting some searches through Northern and Western Europe, she came back to her brother to announce the news, however, she was merely greeted by a piece of paper with writings in five different languages, which she could understand perfectly.

Hey Naun, sis. While you were gone, ol' Bloodlad and I managed to find a solution to my problem with Laurel, both him and me know a person that could lead us to her, namely, Alice Kosa. So we're going to pay a courtesy visit to our old friend and see what she knows, we'll be back in... About an hour or two, also, it'd be awesome if you could start making dinner.

Your loving brother
-Alrick

Feeling quite dismayed, she went to sit in the sofa onto which the note had been left on, suddenly widening her eyes at the realization of what they were about to do, she spoke.

"Wait. THE Alice Kosa? They know her? Gods dammit, they knew my boss and I wasn't even aware of it... Blasted idiots. I hope they won't go too crazy, I don't want to cover up another of his mistakes... Waaaah... I need ice cream..." Standing up, she quickly got a bowl of said ice cream and rambled about her brother's recklessness to her seemingly sentient sun disk.

Having engulfed themselves in the portal Heamet created that supposedly led to Alice's mansion, they fell from the sky as soon as they stepped though it.

"Heamet. What the fuck did I tell you about Google maps and google streets." Alrick said, obviously pissed at his grandson's ways.

"Quoting you: Don't look at that shit, one of these days, you'll create a portal that'll make us end up dropping from the sky." Heamet answered, yelling through the loud air passing through the both of them.

"And you still went and did it. For fuck's sake Heamet."

"I know! But I thought it would be faster and better!" The latter responded, feeling guilty.

"We're not in a Daft Punk song you idiot. Right now, we're falling. At a rather alarming speed. And we're going to hit the ground in a few minutes because of course, you chose the quickest way, namely from the gods damned satellite. If we weren't immune to most physical trauma, I'd fucking kill you." Alrick spoke, still falling with unhealthy amounts of style.

"Well fuck you too."

Upon five minutes of free falling, they finally saw Alice's manor, which is when they started slowing down.

"Well at least I can give you some credit that the location was the actual one and not something in Tibet." Alrick slowed down his speed of about seventy percent something that would stop the ground from spider webbing. However, Heamet, didn't have the necessary means to slow down as much as Alrick did, so he simply created dozens of mental barriers on which he would land and eventually break with his alarming speed, however, he spared the ground, but his spine wasn't.

"Gods the earth is close to the ground... Ow.... My spine... My head... My everything... Note to self in the future, never use google maps ever again."

"Told you. Don't use that, I may be able to manage my own fall, but you can't." The anchor lightly patronized his grandson.

"Fuck... Fuck you Gramps..." Coughing and wheezing, he remade his whole spine, stood up and tried to walk.
"I just maaaaay need some help. Gods dammit, I feel like a toddler that's just learned to walk but continuously falls on his face... Well at least I ain't crying." Upon taking some other steps, he finally stood correctly and could walk and run again.
"Well I know what I'm asking for Christmas a metal covered spine. Yeah, that'd be great. For fuck's sake I'm never doing this shit again."

With the sound they were making it was highly likely they were noticed by the others on the other side of the house, however, they had the politeness to land outside.

It was fully consumed a foot above the floor boards.[/quote]

A drone managed to get a picture of Alice as she walked by a window. "That's her. Alice Kosa, last known associate of the assassin. If anybody would know where he it's her." The drone operator zoomed in. Another technician stood nearby. "I don't understand, why are we going after her? She's high profile, and she's not a threat." Commander Hartman stood with them. "We must do what needs to be done to bring him in. People like him are a threat. And threats will be dealt with. We've been hunting him for years, and now we might have a lead. Prepare a Task Force for assault." The technician was quiet for a moment. "Yes...yes sir." It didn't feel right to him.

The drone left undetected, returning to the designated drop zone.

"Each of my associates grenades can deliver an explosive charge 29% greater than the one that took out Pan Am Flight 103. I think we can safely say these shells will 'spall an oven'" the Russian looking fellow had an Australian accent when he opened his mouth, "Now I'm quite sure your suit is spectacular, but I am quite convinced you won't be shrugging one of those off. You should take it as a complement, they were designed with you in mind."

What he didn't mention was how catastrophically dangerous it would be to Delic if she fired one of those at Atlas from this close...

Alice raised an eyebrow at the mention of the MHR bill, "Were you aware of my meeting with Mr. Zupan regarding this bill?" she motioned to the Russian looking Australian, "As you may be aware I have opposed it, but it will almost certainly pass. We are making contingency plans for that eventuality."

Heamet and Alrick were very much noticed, they were about the least discrete people on the planet and within moments the lawn had a dozen or so Aegis troopers armed with grenade launchers for some reason swarming across it, "Hold it right there!" someone yelled from behind a balaclava, "You are trespassing on private property!"

Inside, Delic frowned, lifting one hand from the launcher to press a button hidden behind her collar, "Understood. I have the Commanders here." she turned to the rest of the gathering, "The property has been breached at the rear lawn by two unidentified Meta-humans." she announced, glaring at Atlas.

Both of Alice's eyebrows shot up this time, "Friends of yours?" she asked, though unlike Delic she didn't sound like she'd already made her mind up.

"I think it is a appropriate moment for me to slip into something less comfortable." Zupan said with a slight smirk, bowing out of the room.

Alice spoke, "Friends of yours?"

Alrick turned his head around, he had felt something, wind, something that would be done by a drone, however, he didn't know where it was, or where it had disappeared, he just knew that it passed and flew away.

"Heamet, my bullshit sense is tingling. I think Alice just might be in danger. I just felt a drone, I don't know where it was, but I felt it. And something tells me that when it'll transmit what it's seen right now... It's not going to be a fun party. But just busting in like this and telling her we felt a drone isn't going to convince her and we're just going to be given shit. Which is something I do not want to happen yet, I still want to know where Laurel is." Alrick spoke, taking Heamet under his arm and jumping for the top of the manor.

"Well, if it's going to come back, might as well look out for anything that comes again, whether it be something really noticeable like a helicopter or something more subtle like gas. Honestly, I doubt it's going to be gas. By the way, do want Aunt Naun to join us?" Heamet answered.

"Sure, if she jumps through the portal, then yes, if not, then fuck it. She has two minutes once you open the portal." He responded, still alert for danger.

Opening the portal back to the Lareylis estate, Heamet waited for his great aunt to come, he wanted to see her fight again.

Naunet kept on talking to her disk, she had been speaking to it for about thirty minutes before a big portal opened in the room she was in.

"You may want to enter it Maat. They're probably waiting for you to help them." The disk spoke, it was Ra himself that usually spoke inside it, of course, Neith, Khnum, Bastet and Khepri could speak to her, but Ra or Horus were usually the ones speaking to her, something she had grown used to, she didn't like to brag about it, but it sometimes happened that they would speak during a meeting, sometimes giving them a chance to speak.
However, the ones she usually liked to speak to were Neith, Khnum and Horus, they understood her better, maybe because they could somehow feel what she had been going through, or maybe they were just more empathizing than the others.

"Think so? I mean, they can handle themselves fairly well. But if you think so... Sure, I'll go. By the way Ra, the speech you gave earlier in the meeting was really great." She answered, getting in the portal. Of course, she wasn't the only one that could hear these voices, everyone could, something that could, at times, get her into extremely bizarre arguments.

"I must thank you, you were the one that gave me most of the inspiration for it." Ra answered. However, as much as they were gods, they had lost too much of their powers to be considered as such, the only remnants of their power being kept by Naunet herself, for now, they only be considered as ghosts. Something that gave Alrick himself a bit of trouble at first.
Upon reaching the exit of the portal, she landed on the top of the Kosa Manor and gave the two men suspicious looks.

"We're not stalking her, we're protecting her, also, were you talking to Ra? Is he still doing fine being all god-like and shit?" Alrick spoke, raising an eyebrow at the sun disk floating around the three of them.

"He's doing fine."

Suddenly noticing the guards of the manor down the house, Alrick facepalmed.

"God fucking dammit... We're not hostiles! Here, here Naunet Lareylis, Northern and Western Europe commander of Aegis. I'm her brother and this is... Uh... Fuck how do I describe you to these guys?" Alrick said before looking at Heamet dumbfounded.

"I'm his brother! Heamet Lareylis." Heamet shouted to them.

"Nightjar, take the roof. You're on overwatch. I'll join you shortly." Alice ordered. Her tone brooked no nonsense and suggested she was quite accustomed to giving commands now.

'Nightjar' must be the codename for Delic, for she nodded at the point, hurrying out of the room.

"Atlas... you seem to be having way too much fun. If you want to help, join Triglav out back." she motioned in the direction of the back garden, "As much as I love and respect my muggle security forces, I'd rather they don't have to go toe to toe with Meta-human of unknown power."

There was a moment's hesitation, though the weapons didn't get lowered, "Commander Lareylis?" the guard closest to them, with the balaclava on eyed her suspiciously, looking for obvious bits of Aegis uniform, a lapel pin, anything that indicated she was a part of the club...

"We have Zeus here." he said after a moment, a referenced code for the Experimetal Exoskeleton suit, "It will be able to confirm your identity."

"Oh putain de merde..." Alrick facepalmed again before Naunet herself took her speech back, pulling out her pin and dropping on the ground, summoning the Khepri head.

"Thanks Khepri, you're cool. So yeah, here's the badge! I am commander Lareylis as you people think. I just came back from the meeting in Finland and my brother Heamet up there created a portal to here, my other brother Alrick, wanted to speak to Alice and as he suddenly got an impression that something was about to go down, he climbed up there. Although I'm sure they didn't mean to alert you, probably an error in the former portal placement." She spoke, loud and clear and holding her badge.

Heamet suddenly chimed in.
"I SAID IT WAS SOMETHING I'LL NEVER DO AGAIN AND THAT I WAS SORRY! Gods..."

"You're still a bloody idiot for having tried that and not slow down your fall earlier." Alrick still patronized his grandson.

Detective Arlet
I stared at the message scribed on the wall, it was accurate, the 'Axis' as they were calling themselves were only in the prison for 3 months, I heard the speaking of numerous news casters reporting the event, the events that transpired would be plastered all over the news within a few hours, I sighed knowing what this meant for Meta-Humans, I wasn't one but you had to sympathize with them, it was like the racial tensions of the 60s all over again. I turned and walked back into the police blockade, ready to talk to a few of the surviving guards and administration.

"Run up to them and punch them in the face?" Alice suggested, "Or hit them with the Halberd? Otherwise there are P90s in the armory." In fact, someone had left a P90 on the sideboard... probably when they were upgrading to a grenade launcher.

"And I wasn't joking about the pierogi in the kitchen." she said as she moved to leave, "We can eat when this business is complete."

"Commander Lareylis." Zupan's voice sounded deeper and a little tinny from inside his powered armor.

His appearance seemed to put the Aegis troopers at ease, "Your presence is unexpected, though not unwelcome. It would be worth discussing whether a business case can be made to expand operations in Northern Europe."

"These two..." he motioned at Heamet and Alrick, "Are your brothers? And they wish to speak to Commander Kosa? What has happened?

I stood there and spoke in deadpan, "P90s? Really? *sigh* might as well hand me a .22" I followed he gaze to a forgotten P90 off to the side, I walked over to it and grabbed it, the polymer case and small size almost comical in contrast to my massive size. "Better be a massive fucking pierogi." I walked after the head of security, pea shooter in hand.

"Well, both of them wish to speak to Commander Kosa because of personal matters, they know her personally and thought nothing wrong with a small courtesy visit, however, Alrick, the taller and lightly jerk looking one felt that something was about to go down, so instead of warning her and creating panic, he simply stayed up there to confirm whether he was right or not." Naun continued to explain the situation calmly, still not slipping in her words.

"Fuck you too sis." Alrick shouted from his 'pedestal'

"Do not mind his interruption, however, do continue with what you've said on the business case in Northern Europe. We have a high sphere of influence ranging from Germany to Greenland, so we can hope to make a lot of things develop." She continued, genuinely interested in the propositions.

Deep within Facility-321, there was a soundproof room. Inside, classical music played, while a man was in the center of the room in a heap on the floor. Ed hated classical. He couldn't draw power from it like other music. All it did to him was keep him breathing, but powerless.

Or so he made them think. Ed was reckless, but he wasn't stupid. He faked weakness while he drew power, slowly but surely. Soon, Ed would be free again.

He would use his powers to free as many prisoners as he could, both as a distraction and pity. A pair of guards stood in front of the glass in front of his cell, armed with rifles. A third guard watched the room via a camera and monitored the sound system to make sure it was playing.
