'Anyway, what's the deal? How can I help besides supposedly dying?'

Meanwhile Heamet spoke.

"Oooor, you could use me. I'm still a healer and even better now. If you want, I can warp the bullet past you while you mimick your death. I can do the blood splattering."

I know nothing of it's details, I just know one thing, Humanity almost died. But a small group of heroes rose to fight for the rest, I don't remember who they were exactly." "Uhuh... who are we supposed to be fighting, exactly?" Alice asked, before raising an eyebrow at Hussar, "You know, if it was World War Three you've been hinting at for all this time, you could have just said it, I'd have been a lot less confused. That's an idea I can get my head around."

"But.....I don't want to lose you." He looked at her with pleading eyes. Walking to her, he held her in another tight hug. "This is fucking insane....you want me to shoot you, and there's no guarantee you'll make it at all."

"There's never any guarantee we'll wake up in the morning." Alice hugged Ulysees, now Ulrich back, resting her head against his chest for a moment. He seemed to need the reassurance, "But since you two are so set against that plan, you could also give them the offer of exchanging me for them at the point where your contract is complete... because it would be silly for you not to have an exit strategy."

"Now as for you." she turned back to Hussar, "I don't quite understand what your plan is. Wrap me in cotton wool then wheel me out in eight days with the instruction to..." she shrugged, "Go nuts?"

"This is so just so.....fucking insane. I faked death to get away from all this, not dive headfirst back into it. This is exactly what I wanted to escape!"

"Magic isn't the right way to put it... But yes, we can, Heamet can make your death look all bloody and stuff, I can virtually damage your organs and make them seem like they were hit by a bullet. But, as I said, they are after us too, and apocalypse avoided or not, we still need to avoid this crisis of bullshittery. Even if I do doubt that my survival made the apocalypse stop itself."
Alrick explained, sitting down, still smirking at many different thoughts.

"Still, you being alive is logical, but only in my future, which makes no sense to a ghost that saw visions of the future... The mistery is getting darker and darker..." Taking a swig from his canteen, he spoke again.
"And to answer your question... Yes, we still do. We have been doing some vigilante hunting part time personally so yes, we still do believe in that... Even if Gramps still has troubles containing his rage at times. But he hasn't gone postal since two years ago. So that's good."

"But we still don't know how far he's managed to go with Laurel with his origins and posdibly domething else." The bloodlad continued teasingly.

"Yes....Sony need to head back home, back to City.....Sony need to use his strength for good again..". the Monk stood up and grabbed his bamboo metal cane. "Well then I'll accomany you on your journey back, I haven't left this monastery since i was a we lad. Sony and the Monk walked bakc into the Monastery, the Monk pack up his items in an old bag and climbed onto Sony's back. "Come now Sony, let us make our journey". Sony walked out fo the doors, then made a large lead, leaping over the reviene seperating the mountain ledges. Sony climbed, then jumped to a far off cliff. Sony continued jumping, headin east, Twoards his Home.

Sweat ran down her face as Amara turned a street corner. She kept running for she didn't know what was going to happen. She took a sharp left as a man appeared out of an alley. She then realized that she was cornered in a dead end. She turned back to see that 2 men were approaching. She faced them as she took a battle stance. They came at her and they were on the floor in seconds. When she turned to make a run for it, a man was standing in front of her.
"I'm sorry, but I can't let you go. You haven't finished your treatment Rosalie."
She then fell to the floor as she was hit with a taser from one of the men. She was then electrocuted with a taser baton. She clenched the ground as she looked up at the man.
"Please! I have to tell them! My friends. They're going to die. Every single one of them. They're all going to die."
"Then you should be the first."
Amara then fell to the ground as she was struck in the head.

Amara then awoke in an unfamiliar location. She was strapped to a medical bed. She tried to break free when a man in a doctor's suit sat next to her.
"So. Tell me Rosalie. Tell me what will happen to your friends. What do you know."
"I don't remember."
"Then I'll make you remember"

"Not that we are afraid in the slightest of our respective deaths, but is it truly necessary for him to die?"

I had just finished a meeting with a few informants I had, NATO had just finished the 3rd batch of GEN IIs they were sending them to LS, there would be only one reason why, to kill the Iron Mountain crew, it was the reason I was currently sailing over the US at mach speeds. If Sioux got there before he did, then Black and his friends would be cut to ribbons.

I could always hide them out in the astral plane for a while, but that would put them into a bigger threat- unless I manage the whole thing with Heamet, create a safe haven in the astral plane where nothing goes in unless I say they go in. That could work. And we'd take out an extremely bothersome organisation. I'm such a genius. Though we'd need our deaths to be extremely convincing. Heamet can work against me with Ulrich, find out some bullshit excuse like he's a traitor to Estonia or whatever-" Alrick spoke, slowly enough so his speech could be understood and analyzed thoroughly, but he was suddenly cut mid speech by Heamet.

Blood will spill like we'd became the new Jesuses and make it actually convincing. Do that for me and you'll be sure to get them to think I'm dead." He used this time to get in a smoke, and a bit of time to himself. "Jesus fucking Christ....." He got a phone from the pilot. "Its me. I need a favor. I'll meet you at your office. Okay. Goodbye." He hung up, handing the phone over to the pilot. He walked back to the others. "We're meeting an old friend of mine. We need to hurry."

"They've probably stormed my mansion by now, if what Hussar said was true. I just left earlier than they'd thought I would. Maybe they weren't planning the arrival of my time travelling grandson who can open portals to just about anywhere on the earth now that he knows what it looks like. Heck I could even teleport in Tibet. No one cares about Tibet, nobody would search for me there." Alrick spoke, slightly joking about his situation.
"Although yes you're right, not being in my living body for so long has left me quite dull about biology. If he shot me... Let's say... A few millimeters to the right? Nah, I'll just fake my death myself. If I can get myself to be as cold as a corpse and have my organs withheld in the astral plane, I'd just have to orchestrate it correctly and you'd be fine getting away with it."
