Va'Hari Empress of The Second Empire:

Race name:Venèfilem
Race standard/average appearance: Mainly humanlike but a lot paler or even completely white in some case. They are also born with markings over their body, sometimes minor ones, sometimes major ones. Some so prominent the majority of their body is covered to the point where you'd mistake the marks for their skin and their skin for the marks, some only have a stripe or 2 on their face. Some have flowing lines, some have marks, marks that go from solid squares to the most abstract you can think off.
Race Specific abilities: All are born with magic, having magic is as normal to them as breathing. That said how strong they are in their use of magic varies tremendously.
Homeworld name: Venef
Lore:This planet is also the focus of magic, all magic in existence comes from it. It works like the heart from a vascular system of a body, but the body in this case is the entire universe, and the planet is circulating magic, not blood. Because of this every person born on this planet has an extremely powerful connection to magic. The planet is always ruled by those who are the strongest and any person who is on the throne can be challenged by anyone at any time with the only rule being that the ruler is given enough time to recuperate between battles. Entire groups may chose to challenge a single ruler and then rule as a council, even though these councils often end up becoming a free for all leaving only one to be declared supreme emperor or empress.

Ever so often someone on this planet is born with an extreme affinity to magic, one far outshining anyone else and they usually get a title "hearts of the empire" and are used to upkeep the laws, all of them, they have to obey the laws and have to follow the orders of the emperor/empress but at the same time have the power to dethrone any ruler if they themselves break the law. The one currently leading as Empress was originally one of the "Hearts", but she had seen great injustice over the years, she was a prodigy among prodigies. Some only have magic because they were born on this planet so it is in their veins regardless and some are born with the capabilities to truly master magic, the Empress was born as if she couldn't only control magic, but that she could become part of the source itself, and as part of the source, she could tap in to its limitless potential.

A rule the hearts had to follow themselves was to never take up the seat of Empress, but when the strongest one of their order did, there simply was nobody strong enough to dethrone her, not even if every remaining heart banded together could they defeat her. Using her powers she decided crimes would no longer be tolerated, none of them would be tolerated. And after some failed attempts she decided there was only one more option. Everyone committing a crime would be reprogrammed to have an undying loyalty to the Empress and become part of her army. But at the same time enough of their mind was kept intact so they remained their individuality.

Not settling with simply solving the problems of one planet the Empress sought out other inhabited planets to liberate them from their crimes taking them over the same way she did her home planet, ever moving further and further. And as such, the Second Empire was born.

Name: The Second Empire
How large is the faction in numbers: 129 solar systems

Short description of Tech level: Technology is all over the place, the heart of the second empire is the planet Venef and everything there is created by the use of magic so their technological level was extremely low yet they had created vessels if powered with magic are capable of space travel including hyperspace travel. And through conquest of 128 other solar systems they have added the technological marvels of those solar systems to their own growing exponentially fast in terms of technology where it is far ahead of the technology from earth.

Short history of the faction: The Second Empire was formed when the Empress of Venef chose to bring peace across the galaxy. And she believed the only way to bring peace was to eliminate crimes everywhere by mind controlling anyone braking any laws or simply outright killing them if it was to much effort to control them. Considering she understood there would always be people standing against them she has made a deal with the Guardians of the Universe that she would announce to them when she'd invade a new galaxy. Giving them the time to warn the planets there and any green lanterns patrolling that sector. Because they have lost every fight so far against the Empress this usually means in an attempted evacuations of all they can.

Just below the Empress is a single person with the title Maw of the Empress, a being of solid energy that is addicted to the Empress's power. And just below this Maw are the Fangs of the Empress. Beings with incredible power that for their own reasons follow the Empress's every word and are usually sent out to conquer planets giving them a chance to surrender completely before the Empress has to join in herself. They are also her eyes and ears when information needs to be gathered under special circumstances.

So far every planet that ever came in to contact with the Second Empire is now under its control, or has been destroyed.

Race(s) the faction is made up of: the Venèfilem are the ruling race with the Empress being a Venèfilem. That said wile every conquered planet has a Venèfilem leading them they are usually copies of the Empress herself. Besides that there are tons of races with names I haven't invented yet ^^.
The Maw is a unique being that does not have a race.
There are 3 Fangs: The Terrified Beast is a Gentarian. Beings who live according to a vow of hospitality and peace, never fighting. Their race exists of beings of incredible uncontrollable power and for that reason have learned to live in harmony. But once in a wile one is born whomse powers simply can not be contained so for the safety of the planet they are banished. The one following the Empress is one that was banished and the Empress managed to contain his powers with a mask.
The Wave of Life is an Eternal Mother. A race of watery beings that have taken it upon themselves that they exist to protect al life in the galaxy. The race consists of only a handful of members and the one that joined the Empress believes she will create a universe where no unnecessary deaths will ever happen again.
Weapon Infinity is a Darlyan, Darlyans are a race of an incredible intellect and technology that surpasses most other technology in the universe. Unfortunately they are also the definition of genius borders insanity as half their population becomes insane during puberty losing all sense of reality. The one following the Empress is a Darlyan that has invented a way to psychically create any weapon she can think of or has seen before. Darlyans also have an extreme natural resistance to magic to the point the Empress would need to exert large solar system levels of destructive magic to simply even hurt one.

Edit: PS: I'll make race apps to for Darlyans, Eternal Mothers and Gentarians if you want.

Name/Alias: Va'Hari / The Empress

Gender: Female

Age: 19

Appearance(Pics are fine, include costume if needed!):
Image

Species: Venèfilem

Backstory: Va'Hari comes from a planet where everyone is born with magic, having magic there isn't a superpower it's simply a fact, not having magic would be considered a handicap. But with that said the level of control and power every member of her race has varies tremendously. The ruler of her planet is usually the most powerful as any emperor or empress can be challenged for the throne. This is however with the exception of the Hearts. The Hearts of the Empire are Venèfilem who have such a powerful connection to magic they are deemed to dangerous for leadership. They are usually trained from before puberty to become elite guards however tasked with the safe-keeping of the world, even from the emperor or the empress themselves should they become a threat to the world. Under these rules the Venef has lived in centuries of peace.

But wile someone with the power to become a Heart is somewhat uncommon it happens enough that it isn't considered a strange event, Hearts are simply the prodigies of magic. However Va'Hari took that a step further, she was born brimming with magical energies beyond what anyone had ever seen before. She was only a newborn and she was already at the level of adult Hearts. For a long time she was simply planned to be trained as a Heart and possible even become an icon for them. But under a specific emperor's rule her existence was deemed to dangerous and she was to be eliminated for the safety of the world. Unfortunately this ended up in a failed assassination attempt in which Va'Hari's mother lost her life wile Va'Hari was only 5 years old. Several more attempts had been made over the years in which she grew up training with the Hearts but every time her powers seemingly went haywire and the attackers, simply seemed to vanish out of existence.

At the age of 15 Va'Hari had become a fully trained Heart and was still willing to serve the world, trying to keep it safe, as far as she knew any assassination attempts that had happened on her over the years, including the one where she lost her mother were crimes being committed and what better way to try and prevent things like this by being a Heart after all. Yet during her service as a heart she had learned these attempts on her life had not been simple crimes gone wrong. They were orchestrated by the ruler of this world. In a violent rage she eliminated the current emperor and in order to make sure peace would be brought to this world under any cost she took the throne as Empress herself at the age of 16.

Naturally the first response of the other Hearts was to try and dethrone her but even with their might combined they could not defeat her, she had the throne, and none could get her off of it any longer. Her desire was to bring peace to this world, and all other worlds, and the best way to do so was to eliminate all crime in her eyes. But no matter how hard she tried, how many crimes she stopped there would always be more. Enough was enough, if they won't listen to punishment they will be forced to obey. Any person committing any crime she took under her control, rewriting their brains to create a sense of complete loyalty towards her and a desire to serve and help her in her goal wile leaving enough intact to have them maintain their own personalities. This was the perfect gray area for her, they couldn't commit crimes any longer but they weren't stripped of their individuality either. This was simply the extension of keeping the peace, instead of ordering people to follow the laws under threat of punishment, they will simply be forced to obey in a way that following these laws seems like it's their own idea to begin with.

Powers and Abilities: Magic Embodiment She isn't the source of all magic but she's in a direct link with it allowing her to utilize the source to it's full capabilities.

Weaknesses: If you could somehow cut her off from her magic she's subhuman in strength. Also, not sure if this can count as a weakness but, her powers can't reach beyond the universe she's in. So leaving that universe would cut her off from her powers.

Destructive Capacity: Multi-Galactic Level

Speed: Fast to an indeterminate level (She can exist at multiple places at the same time and use magic to manipulate her own speed)

Durability: A hit from even a regular human could push her back but she can make shields strong enough to resist anything she can dish out. And even if you hit her unless you disconnect her from her magic she'll reform even from nothing.

Lifting Strength: Roughly 50 kilos. (her magic can move galaxies though)

Striking Strength: Class H

Standard Equipment: Just her clothes.

Intelligence: Highly strategic mind, knows pretty much everything there is to know about magic, childlike when it comes to technology, science and math related things. Emotionally she's also at the level of a child.

Optional stuff.

Theme song: Sick of it!

Random Facts about your character:

Name/Alias: Xyxqrizlt / The Maw of the Empress

Gender: none

Age:

Appearance(Pics are fine, include costume if needed!):
Image

Species: none

Backstory: The Maw is a being of energy, one capable of rewriting the laws of physics to adjust themselves to his need, but the changes only affect himself and don't reach beyond his body. Wile he is a being of energy, he does have a physical body, the energy is condensed so tightly it took on mass and became physical even wile remaining pure energy. While he's made from energy, he is also addicted to it, and he has never seen a brighter or stronger source of energy than the Empress who is as close to an infinite energy source as you can get, without actually being infinite. This addiction transformed in a feeling of love so powerful, he'd do anything for her, anything at all no questions, no hesitation, he is hers completely.

Powers and Abilities: Physics Infringement he can change the laws of physics revolving himself. In this way adjusting speed, power, weight, ...

Weaknesses: He is and acts like an addict always looking for that next high that he gets from energy and the Empress is his supplier. He doesn't think much and is easily outsmarted. Wile having a physical body he is made from energy, drain it and he's gone.

Destructive Capacity: Small Galaxy Level

Speed: His power of Physics Infringement brings this in constant change.

Durability: His power of Physics Infringement brings this in constant change.

Lifting Strength: His power of Physics Infringement brings this in constant change.

Striking Strength: His power of Physics Infringement brings this in constant change.

Standard Equipment: Nothing, not even clothing.

Intelligence: Just smart enough to talk and commune and follow orders, besides that non-existing.

Optional stuff.

Random Facts about your character:

Name/Alias: Drop / Fang of Life

Gender: Female

Age: 77

Appearance(Pics are fine, include costume if needed!):
Image

Species: Eternal Mother (A race of beings with mainly liquid bodies that look like they are solid if they so desire)

Backstory: Drop is one of the Eternal Mothers, a race that has long ago chosen to be shepherds of life, saving lives wherever they can regardless of what life it is. They will not interfere, however, if the life lost is to sustain another life. As in the prey of a predator will not be revived as it was killed to sustain the predator. Eternal Mothers are only born when one of them dies, like a phoenix upon death they are reborn. However the reborn one has a different personality and no memories of it's previous incarnation, the only memories they maintain is their instinct to guide and save life. Drop is fairly young for an Eternal Mother and when coming in to contact with the Second Empire for the first time she was not it's enemy, but she did interfere with its actions. Saving those who would fall in the wars which more often than not were the enemies of the Second Empire.

However after meeting the Empress, hearing her intentions to rid the universe of all forms of crime and war, Drop was eventually persuaded that while the Empress would be the cause of a lot of deaths, this was only temporarily. When she reaches her goal it will result in a stability in the lives of everyone and everything in the universe, in essence causing more lives than she could ever save herself. For this reason she decided to join the Empress and become on of her fangs. Even though she is part of the Fangs she will never take a life, and if done so by accident she will revive that lost life the moment she can.

Powers and Abilities: Master lvl Healing and resurrection (resurrection only if the target has not begun to decompose yet. Self-resurrection happens as well but this is more part of the cycle of their lives. Whomever they are dies and a new Eternal Mother is born.)
She also have an incredible level of liquid manipulation this is where she gets her destructive force from even though she almost never uses it for destructive purposes.

Weaknesses: She can't bear to see anything die and will do anything to bring them back to life, even enemies, even those who have sworn to try and kill her or those who have caused endless death and them being alive would only mean more of it.
She is very naive and gullible, even though she is 77 this is basically a newborn for her race.

Destructive Capacity: Large Planet

Speed: Sonic (Mach 1 / 340m/s)

Durability: She's made from a liquid, so I don't really know. How hard do you need to punch water to damage it?

Lifting Strength: none, if it floats she can carry it, if not, she can't.

Striking Strength: Using her liquid manipulation she can hit like a world-ending tsunami should she so desire.

Standard Equipment: None, anything she seemingly wears is part of her body.

Intelligence: childlike.

Optional stuff. Her race is very rarely seen as they can only travel at speeds of mach 1 yet they generally wander the galaxy without the use of ships. And going from one planet to another in mach 1 will take some time, from one galaxy to the other at mach one a lot a lot more.

Theme song: Basically every nursery rhyme I think ^^

Random Facts about your character: She might end up resembling a more intelligent Zephy.

Name/Alias: Luna Demini / Weapon Infinity / Fang of Knowledge

Gender: Female

Age: 27

Appearance(Pics are fine, include costume if needed!):
Image

Species: Darlyan (A race of technological geniuses with a natural resistance to magic bordering immunity and where during puberty you have a 50% chance of going insane)

Backstory: Being a Darlyan meant you would be born with an affinity for knowledge, those called genius on earth would be on the lower end of the intellectual scale of a Darlyan. And until the age of 11 she was just like any other Darlyan infant, happy, playful, childish. But during puberty she lost complete sense of reality. This wasn't considered strange though, in fact it was rather common even if undesired. The fact is a Darlyan has as much chance of coming out of puberty insane as they are coming out of it sane. It's one of the few things that baffles this worlds inhabitants as they can not figure out why. But in general it isn't to bad, some are only mildly insane as in that they talk to a second personality they developed and mild things like that. And the truly dangerous ones aren't that much of an issue either as a lot of the inventions from the Darlyans are things specifically built to make sure their insane brothers and sisters wouldn't cause to much trouble.

Luna's family was in fact considered blessed as she had 3 elder sisters and 4 elder brothers who all went through puberty coming out sane. Luna was the first one coming out insane. She became obsessed with destruction and developed several split personalities. There was the dominant one that was always in control but then there are also 3 others that mainly only show up if the main personality talks to them. Even though she had turned insane she hadn't lost one bit of her Darlyan intellect and had used that to create nanobots that allowed her to create weapons with what seems to be a mere thought. She has in fact created a pocket dimension with a lot of raw materials and with her nanobots she can open and close it at will drawing out the materials she ant in the exact shape she wants. In other words, instant weaponry.

However she quickly grew bored of her homeworld as it had to many safeguards against people like her, she couldn't destroy anything unless it was made to be destroyed as a way to appease her. For that reason she had left her world and eventually ran in to the Second Empire's war fleet. She single handedly obliterated a large part of it, enough to draw the attention of the Empress who could not take control over her because of her nigh immunity to magic. As unfortunate as this was the Empress felt that the only choice she had was to destroy Luna until she quickly realized she could use Luna. She didn't need to be controlled, just directed. Promise her places where she can sow destruction and she will follow willingly. This led to her becoming one of the Empress her Fangs. And considering her intellect and despite her psychotic tendencies, she eventually became known as the Fang of Knowledge.

Powers and Abilities: Weapon Manipulation she can instantly create any weapon she wants with a thought as long as she knows how the weapon works. But considering her intellect this is a near unlimited amount of weapons she knows how to create. The few weapons she has seen yet not been able to learn how to make are power rings and mystical weapons. This also includes shields, if she can create a weapon to destroy a galaxy, you can bet she also knows how to make a shield to protect against that.
Compared to humans Supernatural Intelligence including Intuitive Aptitude.
Magic Resistance: It takes an incredible amount of magic to affect a Darlyan.
Dimensional storage: This is where she keeps materials needed to make weaponry and shielding.

Weaknesses: She gets uneasy if she hasn't destroyed anything in a while and will eventually go haywire destroying anything around her. Her resistance to magic also makes her extremely resistant to beneficial magic like buffing magic or healing magic. She reacts on impulses and even though she has an incredible intellect this often causes her to make rookie mistakes. She has split personalities, it wouldn't take to much to get her to get in to an argument with herself, herself and herself.
You may not think it or notice it but she does miss her family a lot and feels like an outcast.

Destructive Capacity: Solar System Level

Speed: 10m/s (22mph - 36kph) without the help of technology.

Durability: non-magic: Solar system level (without shielding human level)/ Magic: Small Galaxy level

Lifting Strength: Class 5 (1,000 - 5000 kg) (She upgraded her own lifting strength to be capable of lifting and using any weapon she creates)

Striking Strength: Low end Class MJ

Standard Equipment: Her clothes, she probably always carries a couple of weapons and grenades, and even though they're inside her bloodstream and brain I suppose those nanobots would count as equipment.

Intelligence: superhuman levels. She may be insane but she has an intellect far surpassing even the smartest of humans.

Optional stuff.

Gender: Male

Species: Gentarian

Backstory: The Gentarians are an extremely harmonic and gentle race, originally mainly out of necessity rather than desire. This is because they are an extremely powerful race that has no way to control their powers. When they hit something it will be hit with the full strength they possess. Considering the destruction this could cause if there was constant infighting they became a peaceful race millennia ago. Originally this was only possible by severely punishing violent members but now it has become their way of life. Unfortunately when a Gentarian is born with an extremely high level of power they are deemed to dangerous to keep around. When you can't contain your strength even the most harmonious would still cause trouble. And if trouble meant large scale destruction that could simply not be allowed.

Jylt is one of the few born with such powers to be considered to much of a danger and for this was exiled. Exiled for a Gentarian wasn't a to terrible ordeal as they would be provided with everything they needed and there would still be communication between them and their homeworld. This was fine for Jylt for many years, he may have grown up alone but he never hurt anyone if he used his powers so he enjoyed life as much as he could. However one day upon waking up he found himself in strange surroundings. It seemed a race of slavers found him alone on his planet and "captured" him wile he was sleeping putting him in chains.

In a simple attempt to get free however he attacked the slavers, not even thinking. A single attack, that was all it took to devastate the entire planet he was on. Every building, every plant, every animal, every slaver every slave, everything on this planet besides him was destroyed. Because of this Jylt became extremely depressed and scared of himself, he didn't mean to hurt them, he didn't mean to hurt anyone, he just wanted to go back to his isolated home and in one hit he killed more than he count. He continued to live like this for a while until the Second Empire found him. Discovering what the Empress could do he begged her to kill him, so he could atone for his crimes. But he had committed none, the crime he committed was an accident and the Empress couldn't bring herself to destroy someone who spent his entire life living peacefully and ended up living with such guilt because of what was an accident.

She managed to find a way to contain Jylt's powers, allowing him to control just how much or how little he would use at a time. But Jylt still couldn't live with the guilt so after thanking the Empress for this gift he asked for the mask to suppress not only his powers but his intellect as well. If he could be granted the intellect of an animal, he was sure he could live with himself again as animals don't feel guilt for defending their own lives. Reluctantly the Empress agreed and with his intellect suppressed he in essence became an intelligent beast. A domesticated animal of sorts with the Empress as its master, smart enough to understand words and orders. But not smart enough to truly think for itself. He seemed to be a happy beast however, and happy was something Jylt hadn't been for a long time.

Powers and Abilities: Energy Attacks doesn't need much explanation, energy attacks are energy attacks ^^
Supernatural strength
Supernatural Speed
Supernatural Dense Tissue

Weaknesses: His mask gives him control over his powers but it also limits them. He has the intelligence of a beast with the mask on so he fights like a beast (which isn't always a weakness but it leaves little room for innovation or smart fighting)
If his mask breaks he becomes terrified of what he himself may do and may be reluctant to continue fighting.

Destructive Capacity: Masked: Planetary Level / Unmasked: Solar System Level

Speed: Mach 1000 (340,290m/s)

Durability: Solar System Level

Lifting Strength: Class Y (10^24 - 10^27 kg): The mass of larger planets.

Striking Strength: Masked: Class NJ / Unmasked: Class XMJ

Standard Equipment: His helmet

Intelligence: Masked: domesticated animal level unmasked: average human level

Optional stuff.

Ultra Corps

  • Name/Alias: Daud | Agent of Ultra

    Gender: Male

    Age: 25

    Appearance:
    Image
    Image

    Species: Metahuman

    Backstory:
Daud was born in Morocco without a surname, as is the tradition in his family, and lived there for some of his early life. At an age were young children were prone to bruises, cuts, scraps, and the like, it was discovered that Daud would heal from his injuries rapidly, and overall become tougher as a result. His parents didn't know the repercussions of such a discovery, so they asked their family doctor for advice. That doctor in turn alerted the authorities, and Daud was taken from his home by the government. Rather than experiment on him, the Moroccan government wanted to educate and train the youth, and began to do so. Only a few years later and Daud was chosen to enroll in the Charles Xavier Institute in America, arriving in the country at only seven.

These formulative years were tough on Daud as he adapted to the different culture, language, and customs of the West as he wrangled with his powers. As he learned and grew more confident, Daud found getting friends was easier than he realized, and that his abilities were not something to be ashamed of, and would remember his time with the Institute fondly as he grew older. As Daud became a teenager, he decided against joining the X-Men, seeking to travel the world and try his luck at being a "real hero", yet in his angsty quest, he found that heroism was in no short supply, and grew bitter at his perceived inability to do good. A rising market for young superhumans, though, was mercenary work, and Daud got his share by establishing the Ultra Corps at nineteen.

For six years, the organization grew and prospered, becoming a fearsome and potent force in the Third and Second Worlds, who suffered from a lack of superhumans due to their constant flight to Western countries. Ultra was clean, but did many government's dirty work, and thus was seen as a blemish on the reputation of superheroes and superhero teams, which would bring Daud into conflict with the Avengers, Justice League, and even the X-Men at times. The Ultra Corps had technological and biological (superhuman) advantages that many countries lacked, and their affordability made them the most popular choice for mercenary work.

Daud and his organization were given a job by a wealthy, anonymous buyer, which was to invade and topple the reigning government of Madworld - itself alienated from support due to it's position against the Worldwide Metahuman Registration Act. Daud assumed the backer was from the United States Government, who would then sweep in and place a pro-Registration dictator on Madworld's throne. They paid handsomely, and Daud went to work - launching his invasion of Madworld and nearly destroying the island in the process. His defeat of Maxwell Morningstar did not signal the end of the Mad King, though, as the Ultra Corps had been annihilated while the two leaders fought. Not only that, but realizing this was the manipulation of Doctor Doom, Daud formally surrendered to the Forever King. A political prisoner for a short time, he and Max grew to respect one another, leading to Daud's release. Left without his signature organization and a budding friendship with Mad Max, Daud is set to rebuild the Ultra Corps under a more heroic banner, with Max providing him with several Parahuman recruits to that end.

    Powers and Abilities:
    • Superior Adaptation/Adaptive Regeneration: Perhaps Daud's greatest and most powerful ability, he can adapt and repair himself when facing nearly any situation, allowing him to become stronger or faster to meet a challenge, or even develop a power or nullification to ensure his own survival. The limits of this power is currently unknown.
    • Supernatural Condition: Insanely powerful and the result of his years of constant adaption, Daud is immensely strong, fast, and enduring in even the most trying of situations. He can punch with the best of them, and take fatal hits easily, only to keep on moving and adapting, each hit against him only making him stronger as a result.
    • Tactical Analysis: Daud has been shown to be a master strategist and tactician, a power he himself did not know he possessed, but more than likely developed it as a side-effect of his adaption powers. His plans are able to take into account multiple scenarios, adapt to changes, and plan things to the very last detail. He is one of the reasons for the Ultra Corps' major successes throughout it's existence, as his mind is always on the move, and it drives him to stay multiple steps ahead of any potential opponent, not just current ones.

    Weaknesses:
    • An attack that Daud is unable to adapt against will eventually kill him.
    • Daud can be harmed physically, but death is seeming like a further and further option as his abilities progress.
    • Magic is still unknown to Daud. He has the smallest immunity of any powers to magic, meaning he would be rather fucked against a Magic User.
    • Quick, rushed fights can be his undoing if the opponent is of greater power than he is, as he won't have time to adapt.
    • Anti-Regenerative weaponry or powers can hinder his regeneration, and thus adaption.
    • Stronger, Faster, and more Intelligent Opponents can best him. Every man's weakness!

    Destructive Capacity: Planetary

    Speed: FTL (x100)

    Durability: Planetary | Regeneration

    Lifting Strength: Class Z

    Striking Strength: Class NJ

    Stamina: Nearly Infinite

    Standard Equipment:
    • Ultra Corps Power Armor: A state of the art exo-suit developed by UC's R&D wing, it allows a normal human to adjust to high caliber foes and fight at or near their level. Daud wears one for solitary with the Corps, and he likes the overall look.

Intelligence: Impressively talented and sound, Daud is potent tactical and logical force mentally, but he lacks technical knowledge and abilities of that nature. Not only that, but Daud is more laid back, rather than proactive with his intellect. Many who know of him suspect that he isn't using his brain to his absolute fullest, leading to his smarts routinely being questioned. He is no scientist nor an inventor, he's more of a soldier and a general in regards to intelligence.

    Optional stuff: N/A
    Theme song: Here.

    Random Facts:
    • Return of the Mac

  • Name/Alias: Sora-El

    Gender: Female

    Age: 24

    Appearance:
    Image

    Species: Kryptonian

    Backstory:
A daughter of Krypton, Sora-El was born and raised in the City of Kandor, but managed to escape using Kryptonian Crystals present within the city years before it's enlargement by Xander. Sora grew accustomed to Earth and her culture, gaining an immense respect and wonder at it's natural processes. Sora's story is mostly that of a travelling Kryptonian, doing good where she can, until she met the omnious forces of the Ultra Corps, and it's leader, Daud. She became a foil to their efforts time and time again, developing a hero-villain relationship between herself and Daud at times. But, a spark was born within the heart of the Corps' leader, and when Sora disappeared, he began a manhunt to find her.

Going off of a tip and a prophecy, Daud and his Ultra Corps invaded a mystical realm, spearheading a charge directly into Hell - where Daud believed Sora had been taken after her disappearance. Finding her in the clutches of Neron, Daud was prepared to fight for Sora's freedom, an act that shocked and surprised her, but Neron would not fight. HE offered Daud a deal, as he was known to do, and that was his soul in exchange for Sora-El's. Without a moment of hesitation, Daud agreed, and ordered his Corps to take her back to Earth. Neron gleefully took Daud's soul, leaving Sora-El in tears as she was removed from Hell, leaving Daud in her place. As his soul left, though, Daud gambled with his adaption power, and won out as his very soul adapted to resist being attacked. Enraged, Neron demanded Sora-El's return, but Daud taunted him, asking the Demon Lord if he'd like for others to know there was a soul he couldn't take - Dauds. He made another deal, to never bother Daud or Sora, in exchange for Daud's silence on the matter.

As Sora returned to Earth forever grateful at the motion her nemesis had done, to give his own life for hers without so much as a blink, and she felt a pain of guilt. She was about to fly away from the Corpsmen to mourn for Daud, when the bastard himself reappeared, having tricked the devil himself out of his nigh-immortal soul. Sora latched herself onto him, crying into his shoulder, and the foundation for the two's relationship being laid. Though she didn't agree with Ultra, she cared for Daud, and knew he kept the organization running as cleanly as possible, and would make attempts to reduce the amoral aspects of UC at Sora's insistence. Never apart of Ultra, she was simply there for Daud, and politely ignored his "day job" as Commander of the Corps.

    Powers and Abilities:
    • Kryptonian Abilities: Being from Krypton, Sora can utilize the Photonucleic Effect to empower herself and her cells to superhuman levels, and unlock a host of additional powers not present under the light of a red sun. Those include all that's listed there, with Sora-El having Black Light Vision instead of Heat Vision.

    Weaknesses:
    • Kryptonian Weaknesses: Sora has virtually the same weaknesses as any Kryptonian, so it's nothing too special.

    Destructive Capacity: Planetary

    Speed: FTL (x100)

    Durability: Small Planet

    Lifting Strength: Class E

    Striking Strength: Class Y

    Standard Equipment: N/A

Intelligence: Very astute and understanding, Sora is incredibly hard to trick or manipulate, but lacks the battle prowess and technical smarts of most others in her superpower weight class. She's not stupid, not by a long shot, most of her actions and decisions are just made in the heat of the moment and can come off as poorly thought out in the long run. Though, when she can analyze a situation, Sora is able to clearly connect the dots and make a rational decision.

  • Name/Alias: Dapp | Olympian

    Gender: Male

    Age: 23

    Appearance:
    Image

    Species: Olympian

    Backstory:
I'm not gonna waste your time here, Dapp is a jerk and will always be a jerk and an asshole. He was born on Olympus but kicked out for being a straight dick 101% of the time. He is supposed to be the reincarnation of the Titan of Power. I'm not lazy, Dapp is just that terrible of a character.

    Powers:
    • Greek God Physiology: As Dapp is an Olympian, his powers are the main subset, including Supernatural Condition (which itself includes Strength, Speed, Intelligence, and the like), Flight, and Regenerative Healing Factor. These are even more potent given his implied status as "reincarnation of power".
    • Ergokinetic Combat: Able to manipulate his own almost inexhaustible energy, Dapp is able to bring forth incredible, awesome power at a moment's notice, turning a simple fight into a planet-busting slugfest.
    • Power Fists/Power Kicks: Dapp is able to channel tremendous, inhuman amounts of speed, mass, and velocity into his strikes to make them earth-shatteringly effective.

    Weaknesses:
    • Bombastic personality can be corrosive on team efforts
    • Can have his energy sapped or leeched, or came be goaded into using too much of it.
    • A more powerful or stronger opponent can overpower Dapp. He doesn't have much other things besides that power.
    • Loss of energy is almost a death sentence for the Olympian.

    Destructive Capacity: Lower Stellar

    Speed: FTL (x100)

    Durability: Star Level

    Lifting Strength: Class Y

    Striking Strength: Class XMJ

    Standard Equipment: N/A

Intelligence: Flat out stupid and illogical, Dapp is the extremist form of Brawn over Brains, as his massive strength and power is offset but his unruly personality and his dumber-than-a-sack-of-bricks intellect. Daud puts up with him because of his usefulness to the Ultra Corps and his ability to take orders, but otherwise, Dapp is a menace and a worthless, braindead, pile of trash scumfuck bastard who should be gunned down in the street.

  • Name/Alias: Dr. Thaddeus Darklight | Dr. Darklight

    Gender: Male

    Age: 35

    Appearance:
    Image

    Species: Parahuman

    Backstory:
Born with immense power, the man who became known as Dr. Darklight dedicated his life to science and forging a better understanding of the world, hoping to one day follow in the footsteps of his idol, Michael Morningstar, the greatest Parahuman scientist to ever live. Darklight quickly realized how his childhood hero had nothing heroic about him as he matured, finding more pleasure in becoming a rising threat to Michael than anything. Armed with his vast intellect and photon-based power sources, Darklight was the dreaded combination of brain and brawn that could easily rise to the Throne of Parahumanity.

However, Darklight saw no purpose behind such a quest. He kept to himself and did as he pleased with experiments, his inventions building upon the base that Michael Morningstar had left following his supposed death and the tranquil political atmosphere fostered by Michael's son, Maxwell, as he ruled over the Parahumans. He was quick to remind Mad Max, though, that Darklight had no intention for the throne, but made it verbally clear that if he wanted it, Thaddeus would most certainly have it. Regardless, Dr. Darklight is a well-respected Parahuman scholar, and a recent push of his to better himself as a combatant mainly comes out of a desire to push his powers in the name of scientific research. Recently joining the Ultra Corps as a scientific liason and to further his own research, inventions, and theories, he has become a close associate of Daud, but is still closer to King Morningstar.

    Powers and Abilities:
    • Dark Light Manipulation: A distinct dark color exists over Darklight's manipulation of photons, but his abilities and applications do not differ significantly from Light Manipulation despite the difference in color. He has all of the techniques, applications, and most of the associations of Light Manipulation.
    • Parahuman Physiology: Self-explanatory, all Parahumans have a condition that exceeds human standards easily by default.
    • Supernatural Intelligence/Scientific Prowess: One of the greatest minds in Parahumanity, Thaddeus Darklight is a gifted inventor and scientist, specializing in photons and their interactions with other particles, using his powers as a means to enhance his research. He holds a doctorate in physics, and has always been a close associate of King Morningstar due to mutual respect for one another. For research purposes, Darklight has become a member of the newly reformed Ultra Corps to further his scientific agenda.

    Weaknesses:
    • Darkness Manipulation: In the absence of light, he cannot manipulate photons, though he can generate them, darkness will blot them out over time.
    • Mirror Manipulation: Which reflects photons and can potentially re-direct attacks made by Darklight.
    • Trial and Error: Unlike Craig or Zeke, Darklight goes through multiple errors before finding a working formula or invention for his ideas. It takes him a bit longer to come up with technology because of this, but it helps him produce some of the best quality around.

    Destructive Capacity: Continent Level

    Speed: FTL

    Durability: Continent Level (+Photokinetic Regeneration)

    Lifting Strength: Class K

    Striking Strength: Class YJ

Standard Equipment: Various laboratory and testing equipment, as well as random inventions he tickers with when bored or uses when he needs to see if they work under certain circumstances. The suit he inhabits is photosynthetic and of his own creation, and is never seen without it unless by a select few. The suit provides incredible amounts of energy and photons for Darklight to interact with.

Intelligence: In the same league as Mad Max when it comes to intellect, Darklight inhabits the tier below people like Zeke, Craig, and Michael Morningstar, but is vastly ahead of most other high-intellect people from around the world. His inventions and theories have advanced photon physics by decades in such a short amount of time, and his constant contractual labor from Madworld has helped advance the nation and bring it past the modern age of technology. There is little to underestimate with Darklight, he's cunning and brilliant with his devices and ideas, with exceptional imagination and an extroverted personality to match.

    Optional Stuff

    Theme Song: Breaker of Light

Random Facts: At times weird, his personality is all over the place, shifting from fun-loving researcher to smart-mouthed scientist and sometimes thinly-veiled threatening technopath. Darklight is his own man and let's no one walk over him, his relationships are built on trust and respect. He's fascinated with Elos due to their energy and photon composition, but doesn't want to fawn over Xander and look like a weirdo.

Sovereign Seven

  • Name/Alias: Sovereign | The Tyrant King

    Gender: Male

    Age: 40

    Appearance:
    Image

    Species: Ultimate Android

    Backstory:
Little of known of Sovereign prior to his rise to power as King of the Parahumans, as it was intentionally suppressed when he attained the throne. This was to prevent those from using his own history against him, so more or less, he came out of the blue, and changed Parahumanity forever. He was King at age twenty, having usurped a rather unnoteworthy monarch with his powerful abilities regarding positrons, annihilating the previous King and being crowned as a result - As is tradition among the Parahumans. From there, he took the name Sovereign, and began a reign of absolute terror upon Madworld.

Quickly, Sovereign instituted several reforms in order to keep himself in power, which involved suppressing political activities until he achieved a state where it was rule-by-decree, becoming a near-total absolutist monarch in the process. Dissenters would be imprisoned or executed, depending on their social rank, as Sovereign had most of Mad City monitored, and with the advances in science and technology from Michael Morningstar, Sovereign was able to keep track of his civilians even more. He deepened the divide between High Bloods and Low Bloods, putting the Highs closer to himself (but at a distance - He did not want rivals to power) while applying pressure on the lower caste of society, keeping the two in constant rivalry so that he could rule while they bickered.

Thousands were killed under his regime, and he wore the title of Tyrant with a sickening amount of honor. To Sovereign, he was making Madworld stronger by making Parahumans compete with each other on a primal level, but it only had the effect of severely crippling Parahuman society, and causing widespread fear and oppression nation-wide. Something had to be done, and an upstart Royal Guard decided to take matters into his own hands, and began a sinister plot to smite a God, as Sovereign likened himself to be.

More so, that Guard - a young Maxwell Morningstar - needed to break a God, and managed to form an alliance of some of the most powerful Parahumans alive at that time, all with the intention of killing Sovereign and his Elite, and instituting a new, politically free system. Thus, the Godbreakers were formed, inspired by the ideas of democracy and freedom explained by Otto Godblessed, who also revealed that Madworld was no longer isolated by society. Fearing for the outside world should Sovereign decide to attack it, the Godbreakers launched their coup, and Bloody Thursday was born.

A single day with the most bloodshed ever seen in Parahuman history, the Sovereign Seven (the King's elite forces designed to keep him in power) were brutally killed in the streets of Mad City, at the hands of Maxwell Morningstar and his Godbreakers, along with several legions of the Forever Knights and the Royal Guard that vowed to protect the King. As the final hour approached, Max approached the palace of Sovereign, and issued a challenge for the Crown. Their bout was the stuff of legends, cataclysm-level explosions and energy filled the island and surrounding seas, a duel like no other, generations in the making to produce two of the strongest Parahumans to ever live. At the end of Bloody Thursday, one Para remained standing, and Maxwell was crowned King. For his sheer brutality and reckless assaults, described as the acts of a madman, Maxwell was quickly described as "mad", and came to be known as the Mad King, who vowed to bury all mention of Sovereign and his atrocities with advancement - For Madworld and for Parahumanity.

    Powers and Abilities:
    • Positron Manipulation: The antiparticle to electrons, Sovereign can preform the same feats as an Electron Manipulator, while also being able to annihilate electrons if his positrons come into contact with them (granted - his own particle is destroyed in the process as well). He can generate an nearly inexhaustible amount of positrons from his own body, and control those at will. What separates him from others with the same power is his experience and creativity with his powers, which allowed him to become Parahuman King - A title only taken by the strongest Parahuman alive.
    • Radiation Immunity: His unique powerset and physiology allows Sovereign to be immune to most types of radiation due to the high gamma yield the annihilation of positrons and electrons produce. This makes his common technique of simply overwhelming a foe with positrons - producing an intense gamma ray burst in the process - a viable tactic due to his immunity.
    • Parahuman Physiology: Tremendously powerful outside of his powers, Sovereign was one of the most physically impressive Parahumans to live, a condition that was only improved with his additional powers and abilities.

    Weaknesses:
    • Electrons - They will destroy his Positrons, however, this may prove advantageous to Sovereign.
    • His absolute arrogance and underestimation of threats, both of which led to his downfall by Mad Max and the Godbreakers

    Destructive Capacity: Solar System Level+

    Speed: FTL

    Durability: Solar System Level

    Lifting Strength: Class M

    Striking Strength: Class XMJ

    Standard Equipment: N/A.

Intelligence: Extremely manipulative and always calculating, Sovereign is a man who's too smart for his own good. He reasons himself as an adept strategist and scientist (he excels in neither - Being a poor planner and having little technological smarts), but he really only shines as being able to apply his powers in unforeseen ways, leading to the Tyrant King to develop a whole host of abilities from Positron Manipulation. Sovereign believes he's a chessmaster, and is partially right, but has been swindled and played for a fool many times in his career.

    Optional Stuff

Theme Song: "I am beyond your comprehension. I am Sovereign."

Random Facts: Seriously, major spoiler for my up-coming arc

Sovereign was, and is, an Ultimate Android created by Michael Morningstar, father of Mad Max.

Godbreakers

  • Name/Alias: Maxwell Morningstar | Mad Max | Mad King | Strategist Supreme

    Gender: Male

    Age: 25

    Appearance:
    Image
    Image
    Image

    Species: Parahuman

    Backstory:
The exalted King of Parahumanity, Maxwell Morningstar's origins are bittersweet and grim. He was born to Michael Morningstar, one of the greatest Parahuman scientists to ever live and largely responsible for Madworld's advanced technology in a few decades, and to Maria Morningstar nee Paszek, a Parahuman commoner who worked with Michael as his assistant for years. As Michael neared completion on his crowning achievement, the Morningstar Equation, he was able to code the very equation into the DNA of a zygote produced between Michael and Maria. The zygote took hold, and Maxwell was born, Michael's theory on a biological carrier of the Equation having been successful.

However, this was not a happy home. Michael was devoted to his work and himself, he never saw Maria or Maxwell as a legitimate family, Maxwell was only his son by blood and Maria his life partner by work, not choice. Maria would develop crippling depression, and constant abuse, mental, emotional, and physical by Michael, would drive Maria to commit suicide when Max was thirteen. As his mom was the only person to love him and show him any kindness growing up, even when she herself was unable to be happy for herself, Maxwell refused to live alone with his father. He would flee the residence and join the Forever Knights.

He joined young and was train well, the son of Michael Morningstar receiving excellent treatment and advancement through the ranks, going from Initiate to Knight and Paladin within a few years time, until eventually, he was promoted to Royal Guard. Maxwell began to have ambitions for the throne, intent on usurping the dreaded Sovereign and showing his father what a true man looked like. A secret organization formed with Max as it's leader, the Godbreakers, and their intent was to destroy Sovereign. Beginning with the arrival of Otto Godblessed in Madworld, a feat that showed Max that the barrier that separated Madworld from the rest of the planet had fallen, Mad Max began to take his ambition seriously.

Launching a surprise coup, members of the Godbreakers held off and distracted several of Sovereign's elite as well as his Forever Knight protection so that Mad Max could challenge him for the right to rule the Parahumans, the one thing Sovereign feared most. But, Sovereign was no lightweight, and his positron manipulation proved almost fatal to Max in their duel. However, the eventual Mad King unleashed the full fury of the Morningstar Equation, rendering Sovereign as nothing but a husk of skin, devoid of energy, and allowing the mad man who challenged Sovereign to become undisputed King of the Parahumans. Max's usurping of power was five years ago, and Madworld has shown marked improvement under the Mad King. Not only that, but Max has opened up Madworld to the rest of the globe after centuries of isolation.

    Powers and Abilities:
    • Absolute Energy Absorption: The powerful ability resulting from the Morningstar Equation, Maxwell is described as the "Heat Death of the Universe", as he has the power to absorb and drain any and all forms of energy without limit. He calls this ability the "Morningstar Sanction", seeing it as an unavoidable law of physics that he can enact on his own accord. He can use this absorbed energy to whatever affect he desires, without any foreseeable limit.
      • Energy Perception/Energy Sensing: The Mad King can sense and feel the natural and unnatural energies of the universe around him, giving Maxwell an impeccable sixth sense that is just below Cosmic Awareness. Not only can he see events as they happen, but it's possible for him to see future events based on their energy as well.
      • Absorption Shield: A barrier the Mad King can create that draws in all forms of energy into himself, and at the event horizon, is seen almost like a bubble where energy is scattered around and absorbed evenly. He can create this over himself and others like so:
        Image
    • Supernatural Intelligence/Indomitable Will: The mind of Maxwell Morningstar is both vast and almost unknowable, being in the highest tiers of human intelligence and even further as far as the cosmos goes - able to build and harness technologies beyond human understanding while being a keen strategist and tactician to boot. From such intellect, Maxwell is able to have a firm belief in himself and his own abilities, granting a willpower that a Green Lantern would dream of, a willpower that was once said to stare down Gods themselves.
    • Tactical Analysis: The origin of the "Mad" in his name, Maxwell is a highly-respected strategist and thinker, able to competently plan out battles, political maneuvers, and economics down to the smallest of details with unimaginable precision. He's highly adaptive and prepared against an untold number of threats, constantly improving both himself, Madworld, and the Forever Knights in order to be the best the world has to offer. For this reason and many more, he is often hailed as the Strategist Supreme.

    Weaknesses:
    • Law of Conservation of Energy: Energy cannot be created or destroyed, Mad Max must get it from somewhere. He circumvents this by having vast reserves of energy, which brings us to the next weakness.
    • Max can exhaust his energy reserves, at which point, he is like a car running on fumes. He can keep going for just a little while, but must absorb more energy to survive if he reaches that low.
    • All that intelligence, and he can still be outsmarted. Not to mention, all that brainpower consumes a lot of energy to begin with. He burns up tons of energy thinking and fighting at the same time.
    • Long, drawn out fights that continuously waste his energy supply would really, royally rustle his jimmies
    • In the absence of massive energy reserves, he cannot heal effectively.
    • Maxwell is mortal - He can be reasoned with and tricked, and if his power is taken away, he's left only with high intellect.
    • Powerful Psionics can affect and read his mind, but his overpowering willpower will eventually over come such control
    • The antithesis to the Morningstar Equation, the Darkstar Equation, can cancel out his powers.
    • Negative Zone energies, Anti-Energy, and Anti-Matter will all cancel out and assault his powers
    • ...Jedi actually thought of this one. Absolute Zero temperature, where atoms have no energy to work from

Destructive Capacity: City-Level, can increase with more Energy.

    Speed: 1,000 m/s - Variable with Energy

Durability: City/Town Level - Theoretically indefinite due to the Energy Absorption Shield.

Lifting Strength: Class 100 - Variable with Powers.

Striking Strength: Class TJ+ - Striking Power can be controlled with energy output, and so Max could punch out stars if he absorbs one, and so forth.

    Standard Equipment:
    • Mad King Armor: Virtually identical to the armor he had worn as the Mad God, this equipment places further stress on the material known as Anti-Metal, allowing his suit to smash and slice through metal as if it were rice crispy treats. It no longer has the mutagen effects of Promethean Metal as it doesn't contain it anymore, leaving Maxwell without a back-up energy supply in exchange for greater offensive power. It's baseline protection is Nth Metal, allowing Maxwell to float easily.
    • Morningstar Equation: The source of Max's energy absorption abilities, the Equation was made and perfected by Max's father, Michael, and provides for infinite absorption and storage of universal energy. Maxwell was theorized to simply possess the theorem as if it were a physical object, but later approaches view him as having the Morningstar Equation embedded within his own mind - as all attempts to recreate the fearsome effect have so far proven to be fruitless. Theories persist on the existence of an "Anti-Morningstar Equation", dubbed the "Darkstar Equation", believed to have been wielded by Darkstar.
    • Lance of Longinus: The very same spear that stabbed Jesus Christ, the powerful weapon, alongside Max's impressive spearmanship ability, makes him a formidable combatant against damn near anything. With limited drawbacks, the weapon is carefully kept at the Mad King's side most of the time.

Intelligence: It was never a question of Max's brilliance, it was simply a question of how far he could go with it. His powerful mind is among the greatest humanity has to offer, even in his mortal state, he can stand blow for blow with the cosmos' most intelligent adversaries. The sheer amount of knowledge at his disposal, his ability to acquire more knowledge, and adept application of such information is always an incredible feat to behold. Without the powers granted by the Morningstar Equation, Maxwell would be scientist and technocrat of high standing within Madworld.

    Optional Stuff

    Theme song: Breaker of Gods

    Random Facts:
    • Updated as of 2/23/16

  • Name/Alias: Valarie Valentine | Val | Mad Queen

    Gender: Female

    Age: 24

    Appearance:
    Species: Parahuman

    Backstory:
Born a member of the illustrious and high-blooded Valentines, Val was expected to have great powers and abilities from birth like most of her predecessors, as well as parents. They were accepting of her psionic abilities in the form of tactile telekinesis, as her first display of it's immense depth was discovered when her father, Valor Valentine, enraged her by saying her power was worthless. Valor was a high-ranking Forever Knight General, a manipulator of fire and ice, who ran his household as an authoritarian. Val was impressed into the Knights by her father, just as he did with her older brother, Ken, and was preparing to do with her youngest brother, Rip.

A promising soldier and combatant, Val was recognized as one of the best hand-to-hand fighters in the army, making use of her telekinetic powers to unleash unruly blows against even the most durable of opponents. She was drafted into a brigade with Maxwell Morningstar as her superior, along with many of the would-be Godbreakers and her brother, Ken, in an attempt by Sovereign to create a powerful, subservient force of some of the strongest of the young generation. Val would fully commit to Maxwell's cause after the deaths of Valor and Ken, stopping at nothing until Sovereign and his entire regime was in ruins.

As Maxwell took up the throne, he gave Val an object that, in theory, should counter Maxwell's abilities and control over energy: Nega-Bands. Stolen from the lab of Michael Morningstar, these Nega-Bands were acquired from a Skrull infiltrator by Michael, and by channeling the destructive forces of anti-matter and anti-energy from the Negative Zone, they would cripple the Mad King's powers in a full onslaught. It was the Parahuman King's version of the Sword of Damocles, where Val (or Otto with Endbringer) could step in should Maxwell step out of line in his duties, but had the effect of pushing Val's powers to the tops of Parahuman kind.

    Powers and Abilities:
    • Tactile Telekinesis: Val possesses vast psionic powers, but with the exception that she has to be in contact for them to have an effect. Rather than seeing this a downside, Val managed to turn it into an asset of her arsenal. For instance, Val can feel changes in the air and on the ground due to it being in contact with her, giving her a sixth sense in that regard. The psionics at her disposal help fuel her Nega-Bands as well.
    • Supernatural Combat: Val is a proficient and highly skilled fighter, able to execute complex and simple moves to devastating effect against even well-trained opponents of similar skill. She just has a gift that Max has pushed her to improve upon, allowing her to be able to stand toe to toe with even the most fearsome of brutes, knowing she has the skills to take them on.
    • Parahuman Physiology/Telekinetically Enhanced Condition: As a result of her Parahuman ancestry, Val is incredibly durable and strong in her base form, regardless of telekinetic input. However, she can push her condition even further beyond by using her own mind to ensure her personal forcefield is strong.
    • Powers Via Object: Her Nega-Bands.
      Image

    Weaknesses:
    • Val must be in contact, or within a few molecules, to telekinetically affect something.
    • Her Nega-Bands can be removed, so take that as you will.
    • Her emotions can and will get the better of her, an adept opponent will quickly realize this and take advantage of it.
    • Despite her fighting prowess, she is not perfect nor invincible - those in roughly the same skill bracket can evenly stand with her.

    Destructive Capacity: City-Level | Indefinite

    Speed: FTL (x1)+

    Durability: Planet Level+

    Lifting Strength: Class P+

    Striking Strength: Class XKJ+

    Standard Equipment:
    • Nega-Bands: A weapon given to her by Mad Max for the expressed purpose of using them against the Mad King should he become insufferable, Val makes use of the Nega-Bands and her Tactile Telekinesis as her major power sources, being one of the implied strongest members of the Godbreakers. With the Bands, Val is considered as a likely candidate to replace Maxwell as Parahuman Monarch should he perish, alongside Shatterstar, Darklight, and Powerline.

Intelligence: Fierce and combative, Val's personality is not very kind or approachable for most people, but that hides her compassionate being. She is extremely emphatic to others, and is no push-over when it comes to reasoning and logical problems. She had learned much of what she knows from Maxwell, even surpassing him in martial artistry to a large extent. Maxwell will often rely on Val to bounce ideas off of, as she isn't afraid to tell it how it is or should be, whether an idea is stupid of brilliant, as well.

  • Name/Alias: Otto Godblessed | Otto the Just

    Gender: Male

    Age: 300

    Appearance:
    Image

    Species: Asgardian-Jötunn

    Backstory:
The bastard son of Vili, brother of Odin, and Gerðr, Jötunn wife of Freyer, Otto Godblessed's birth was one of adultery and lust, pure and simple. To hide their affair, Vili banished Otto from Asgard as a newborn, not wishing to be known as a cheater or to damage his brothers' reputation. And so, the child was cast away, their hopes being that he would not return to Asgard, or better yet, that he would perish quickly in Midgard. That wasn't the case, however, the infant surviving the cold depth of space and landing on some alien world, in some unknown galaxy.

A token reminder of his birth followed him, his name, but it was only "Otto" that his foster parents could understand. He was raised from infancy to adulthood by the aliens, Otto learning that they were Kryptonian colonists later on, before his parents told him of his origins. Otto understood, though, and knew his destiny didn't lie with the colonial world but somewhere else, and only going off on the name "Otto", he set off to explore the cosmos and find his origin. Growing up, his parents gave him the ideas of justice and order, and what they meant to society, and in his travels he found the galaxy lacking in those ideas. He would spread his wisdom across the stars, many seeing him as an enlightened prophet, and he received a title of "The Just", and "Godblessed", owing to his knowledge.

In his journey, Otto found passage to Asgard, whose Gods demanded audience with the travelling magistrate and his Midgardian opinion on an issue of their court. Arriving there, Otto felt a strange sense of belonging, one of which was confirmed by his natural fluency with the Allspeak. Still, he was tasked the All-Father, Odin, with solving a dilemma of what to do with a woman accused of murder, while she committed the crime and confesses to it, her reasoning is that harm would have came to her child if she did not. Otto took the stance of situational ethics over Asgard's moral absolutism, that had the woman's child not come into harms way, she would not have defended it as fiercely. Impressed at the defense, Odin released the woman, and blessed Otto with his official title of "The Just", but the act of being blessed by Odin gave him his more famous surname, Godblessed.

Otto took a short hiatus of his travels in the galaxy to remain in Asgard, where he quickly uncovered the truth of his birth and lineage, a nephew of the All-Father. Seeking his uncle's guidance, Odin pointed Otto to his mother, Gerðr, a jötunn goddess, and set the young man off to fulfill his thirst for knowledge. Upon meeting Gerðr, the goddess burst into tears, simply seeing Otto and knowing immediately that he was her and Vili's son. Otto comforted her, and demanded answers. With Vili dead, Gerðr told Otto the truth, that his father had Otto exiled at birth to preserve his own image, that he took Otto soon after Gerðr had given birth, and that she had never seen her son nor Vili since. Otto grew enraged, but, he yielded his emotions for clarity.

Speaking with his birth mother more, he told her of his life and who he was, Gerðr impressed at the man her son had become. She gave him a gift, one her husband Freyer had given her to win her heart, known as Draupnir, the Odinring. Otto thanked her and let her be, returning to Asgard and feeling at peace with himself. He came before Odin and thanked him, the All-Father sensing the peace of mind Otto now possessed, and the Odinring he had left for his son, Baldr. Odin shed a single tear, and openly adopted Otto as his son to make up for the betrayal of Vili, imbuing him as God of Justice within Asgard, and allowing the Odinring to access the Odinforce.

Otto, ever grateful at the gesture, wished instead to travel the galaxy and spread his word further, to which, Odin agreed. Seeing his adopted son off, Odin gave him a parting gift. Forged from an entire star cluster, the rapier Endbringer was meant to be a formidable weapon with the ability to "make Gods bleed", allowing Otto to pierce and cut apart any enemy. Along with a Uru blade meant to be a parrying dagger, Otto tearfully left Asgard to continue his adventures.

Something pulled Otto to Earth, watching it's inhabitants and learning much of their laws and customs, but a certain race seemed to fascinate him beyond the others, and that was the Parahumans. He arrived on the isle of Madworld and met Maxwell Morningstar, who upon learning that Otto was an Outsider, grew joyous at the thought of finally freeing his people from their imprisonment behind the barrier. Otto joined Maxwell's Godbreakers in order to remove Sovereign from power, witnessing the brutality of the Tyrant King, and pledging his allegiance to King Morningstar.

    Powers and Abilities:
    • Asgardian Loadout: This condition is a result of his heritage. He has strength, speed, and durability on a similar level to Thor, as Otto's father is Odin's brother, Vili.
    • Cold Empowerment: As his mother was a Frost Giant (Gerðr), Otto gains incredible power and durability, not to mention speed, faster healing, and intelligence, when in the presence of colder temperatures and environment on top of his Asgardian physiology.
    • Supernatural Swordsmanship: Otto is a self-taught swordsman, and is noted as being one of the best universally, and with his rapier Endbringer, it is no exaggeration that Otto has yet to truly fight until he draws his blade.
    • Draupnir (Odinring): The Ring forged alongside Mjolnir in Norse Mythology, Draupnir was said to multiply itself into eight rings of equal weight in gold every nine nights. However, this was but a "default" setting on the ring, as once Otto got a hold of it, he used it to access the vast Odin Force instead. He uses the Odin Force to become adept at keeping the law and order wherever he goes, but it's many other, powerful, uses have been noted, particularly in dropping temperatures to empower himself
    • Law Intuition: The result of his use of the Odin Force, Otto has an affinity for laws and their maintenance.

    Weaknesses:
    • Asgardian Weaknesses
    • Heat: Just as cold empowers Otto Godblessed, heat will siphon and greatly diminish it. Sufficient heat, such as being cast into a star, will render him mortal and human-like in his durability. His trump card against this is the Odinring, which he can use to drop temperatures to absolute zero, even in the heart of stars, through use of the Odin Force.
    • Object Removal: He's but a normal Asgardian without the Odinring, so take that as you will.

    Destructive Capacity: Large Planetary

    Speed: FTL (x10+)

    Durability: Star Level

    Lifting Strength: Class Y

    Striking Strength: Class XKJ

    Standard Equipment:
    • Endbringer: A powerful rapier forged of Uru from a star cluster, the blade is enhanced by a small sliver of a Cosmic Cube, allowing Otto to ever so slightly warp reality when wielding the blade. It's other magical effect is a nearly unavoidable thrust that stretches the blade out for several feet past it's end point, and when using this ability, Endbringer's tip will pierce any material.
    • Odinring: Otto's connection to the Odinforce, now the Valkaforce, and the source of his cold-based abilities, attacks, and empowerment.

Intelligence: Wise and extremely knowledgeable, Otto is very keen on literature and book smarts to a large degree, using his Allspeak to read libraries worth of material from alien races and attain their vast knowledge, even reading the products of dead cultures and species long past to gain their insight. He uses this drive to fuel his obsession with the law and apply mistakes made and lessons learned from the past to the present. To Otto, laws are not static nor absolute, they are made to be revisited and revised constantly, which is why he is so well-read.

  • Name/Alias: John Pride | Wildstar

    Gender: Male

    Age: 40

    Appearance:
    Image

    Species: Parahuman

    Backstory:
Born of the infamous Pride Clan, John was born as more like a beast than a man, as are all members of his family. Yet, even early on, something stood out about John, he was much larger and smarter than his cousins and peers, leading many to think he was destined to be the "alpha male" of the Pride Clan, something his father actually took pride, no pun intended, in. John was raised to give out his opinion unasked, to fight and brawl like a champion, and even how to lead and make others follow, going so far as to change his name from John to Wildstar, purely because he thought it sounded cool.

He joined the Forever Knights and quickly became a Paladin, forming his own elite group of soldiers known as the Pride, members of which were more ruthless and primal, yet highly cooperative in nature. John settled here and moved little beyond, becoming a General and just enjoying himself. That is, until he met Maxwell Morningstar, who was in need of support from a well-established and high ranking Forever Knight. Wildstar wanted Max in his Pride as well, so a deal was struck: In a duel, should Max win, Wildstar would join him in the Godbreakers, and if Wildstar won, Max would join John in the Pride.

In a vicious fight, Maxwell emerged victorious, gaining the trust and respect of Wildstar, as well as the respect of the Pride, whom Wildstar kept in order to provide Mad Max with additional forces for his plan to usurp Sovereign - the reason Wildstar supporting such an action was his belief that Max was the strongest Parahuman alive, and deserving of the Crown.

    Powers and Abilities:
    • Werebeast Physiology: The condition he has from his beast-like Parahuman ancestry, Wildstar is a cut above his own clan in terms of strength and physical power, not to mention bombastic personality. Claws and teeth strong enough to slice apart steel with ease, Wildstar is damn near close to beastly perfection in terms of offensive capabilities.
    • Beast Lordship: Self-described as the King of Beasts, Wildstar has the ability to command and control animals and creatures to some extent - mostly by his alpha male like presence.

    Weaknesses:
    • Wildstar finds silver to be his kryptonite, finding himself weaker when in contact with it.
    • His regeneration grows weaker overtime as he's in combat as he suffers grave wounds frequently due to his fighting style relying solely on offense.

    Destructive Capacity: Planetary Level

    Speed: FTL x1

    Durability: Planet Level (Regenerator)

    Lifting Strength: Class Z

    Striking Strength: Class XKJ

    Standard Equipment:
    • The Pride: A special, elite unit of the Forever Knights that report directly under Wildstar's command, composed mainly of Knights and Squires, that undertake the most dangerous missions offered by the Forever King. A fraternity and strong-willed group, the highest ranking members gain access to a biotechnological beast transformation when their loyalty has been proven time and time again.

Intelligence: Not too dumb, but does reckless and often thoughtless things, especially in the midst of combat. This can be a good and bad thing, leading to general confusion and unpredictability to the enemy, whoever it may be, but it can very well endanger others. Wildstar rarely thinks out his actions and long-term strategies, preferring to take things one battle at a time. Maxwell believes he is smarter than he lets on, but little can be said to provide proof of that.

  • Name/Alias: Maddox Shatterstar

    Gender: Male

    Age: 23

    Appearance:
    Image

    Species: Parahuman

    Backstory:
The first born in a long line of High-Blood Parahumans, Maddox retained the fearsome ability of his ancestors before him, and that was immense and nearly incalculable strength. With that power, though, many of his lineage had a stipulation on how to grow stronger or utilize their titanic potential, with it mainly being tied to the emotions or emotional state of the user. For example, Maddox's father, Sebastian, has immense strength and durability linked directly to his anger, while Sebastian's brother has super-strength when he's in fear. Maddox himself gains strength by his own willpower and self-confidence, meaning that he's as strong he reasonably believes himself to be.

The Shatterstars are a tight-knit clan, and Maddox was raised in equal parts by his parents, uncles, aunts, and cousins. They were not a family that readily supplied men and material to the Forever Knights, so Maddox did not join with them despite attempts at recruitment. However, he did form a childhood bond with Max, one that initially began with Maddox tormenting the intelligent youth, but developed into genuine friendship. Thus, when Max was gathering his allies to form Godbreaker, Shatterstar eagerly joined his friend and ally in toppling Sovereign's regime. He acts as one of the more selfish members of Godbreaker, but his loyalty is to Mad Max alone. In fact, Shatterstar was the one to give him the "Mad" prefix to Max, as Maddox used it to taunt the tempered youth once, and then again to describe him as "crazy enough to challenge Sovereign".

    Powers and Abilities:
    • Supernatural Condition: Master Level | Due to his Parahuman origin and bloodline, Shatterstar possesses a physically powerful body before his actual power comes into play - the greatest assets being his massive durability and endurance to compliment his size and tremendous strength. He can go toe to toe with Superhuman-level beings with ease with this preset ability.
    • Absolute Strength: The main ability of Shatterstar, his strength is virtually limitless and tied directly to his willpower and determination. His self-confidence plays a massive role in his level of strength as well, to the point that should his confidence in himself be broken, he will be depowered.

    Weaknesses:
    • While Shatterstar is highly resilient against physical and energy-based attacks, magic and ki-based attacks are more effective against his durability.
    • He has next to no mental defenses from psionics and mind-based attacks
    • An Absolute Defense will nullify his oncoming attacks
    • His self-confidence and willpower can be broken, leading to loss of his powers.

    Destructive Capacity: Star Level

    Speed: FTL (x10+)

    Durability: Solar System Level

    Lifting Strength: Class Y

    Striking Strength: Class XGJ

    Standard Equipment: N/A

Intelligence: Lacking in technical smarts, Maddox is fairly keen when fighting and is able to formulate rudimentary, simple, yet effective tactics in the middle of a brawl. His mental capacity just isn't up to chops with most others, as he is a reversal of the brain over brawn trope - he embodies strength and power in place of technological and social intuition. That isn't to say he's dumber than a sack of bricks, though.

    Random Facts:

  • Name/Alias: Catherine Joy| Rebound | The Rubber Girl

    Gender: Female

    Age: 21

    Appearance:
    Image

    Species: Human

    Backstory:
A Low-Blood by birth, Catherine was not expected to have powers, but expressed her impressive stretching ability from an early age. She was driven to make her parents proud, as they felt that their elevation out of the Low-Blood status rode on their daughter's shoulders. To that end, they even pushed her into the Forever Knights, intending for her to become politically connected with higher bloodlines and establish relationships. Catherine was not much of a fighter, though, and her future with the Forever Knights was not bright. As she didn't want to be looked down on due to her Low-Blood name, Catherine would normally go by the adopted name "Rebound", mostly to describe her powers.

Despite that, one of her early and endearing relationships was with Val Valentine, who Catherine befriended in their Initiate days and stuck with for several months after. Val enjoyed her company, and even helped Catherine overcome her fighting inability as well as helped her expand her powers. Val showed Catherine that stretching didn't have to make you longer, it could be concentrated in the muscles, and provide for super strength and durability. Due to this relation, Catherine was invited to join Godbreaker, who did so as a favor to Val. There, she would meet and become infatuated with Shatterstar, but she is flirty with most people regardless.

    Powers and Abilities:
    • Elasticity: Rebound can stretch and mold her body into any shape or form at will, able to get as small as the molecular level and spread herself that thin as well. She has a high stretch ratio to boot, giving her planet-level sizes and mass should she stretch that large.
    • Rubber Mimicry: This allows Rebound to survive her organs stretching, as she is simply homogenized to the point that no one organ is more important than the other, allowing for her impressive stretching abilities that are reminiscent of rubber, where she takes her name. Beyond this, she is able to nearly shapeshift by having her body assume a "mold" of whoever she is imitating, and possesses invulnerability from attacks.

    Weaknesses:
    • Temperature affects her stretching ability, with extreme cold slowing it down, and heat speeding it up, until it liquefies. Joy will survive in both cases, surprisingly enough.
    • Rebound's stretch limit is roughly the size of a planet, which is massive, but still a limit that can't be exceeded.
    • Attacks can be thrown back at the user, if physical, though. She is resistant to energy attacks to a certain degree before the thermal heat of the attack melts her body.

    Destructive Capacity: Planetary Level

    Speed: FTL x1

    Durability: Star Level

    Lifting Strength: Class Z

    Striking Strength: Class XJ

Standard Equipment: A stretchy suit that is somehow still revealing on her, despite it's elasticity matching Rebound's.

Intelligence: Coy and manipulative, Catherine isn't above using her body or powers to get what she wants, showing off a rather calculative side of Rebound. She is smart, but specializes in nothing of note, and is better adapted to handling social situations than many of her teammates in Godbreaker.

    Optional Stuff

    Theme Song: Breaker of Bodies

    Random Facts: N/A

  • Name/Alias: Xala (zah-lah)

    Gender: Female

    Age: Old - Roughly 200.

    Appearance:
    Image

    Species: Xyrixma

    Backstory:
A more reserved Xyri, Xala wasn't meant for frontline service - meaning her usefulness in invasions for food was abysmal. This didn't sit well with Xyri Generals, and noting the girl was the quiet type, placed her as a scout to search for universes to devour. This meant that Xala would drift in the cold, dark universes, alone, until she found life to report back to her higher-ups. It was absolutely crushing for Xala, who despite her quietness, actually yearned for social interaction - a fitting punishment for her ineptitude for conquest.

Her recent universes yielded no life, drawing the further ire of her superiors, so she was reassigned to a universe brimming with life, but seeded with incredible powers. Her job was to gather intel on Earth, so they dropped her onto Madworld, where she was quickly discovered and imprisoned. During her time there, she realized the hospitality of mankind and of the Parahumans in particular, and managed to fall in love with a certain Otto Godblessed, who would constantly visit her in her cell, provide her with books to read, and hold meaningful conversations with her. Otto's good word and influence within Godbreaker allowed Xala's abilities and merit to be considered for a potential candidate, launching a debate within the team on who should be allowed in and for what reason. Eventually, Mad Max's own defense of the slime girl caused her consideration to prevail, and she's joined up as yet another member, bringing the total amount of operatives within the core team to nine.

    Powers and Abilities:
    • Solar Energy Absorption: Xala gains her powers from absorbing the energy of the stars themselves - the closer, the better. Other types of energy aren't easily absorbed by Xala, just the oddly specific radiation given off by stellar objects. This absorption extends to other beings or objects that contain stellar energy, such as plants, but such sources are hardly even snacks compared to the vast solar energy she could feed on instead.
    • Solar Energy Manipulation: Whatever solar energy Xala absorbs, she can use to whatever purpose she can think of, which includes it's applications and associations of both manipulation and absorption. This power disappears if Xala's energy capacity falls below a certain threshold, where she must regulate all of her little remaining energy into survival.

    Weaknesses:
    • Cold: Frigid temperatures adversely affect her Xyrixman physiology by making her body more rigid, but can also drain her energy much faster since Xala will have to expend more of it to keep herself warm.
    • Counter-Absorption: While having an abundant supply of energy in the universe, it's relatively easy to take away her energy stores with a more potent absorption technique, such as what the Slime Queen possesses.

    Destructive Capacity: Small Planetary Level

    Speed: Sub-Relativistic

    Durability: Star Level (Regeneration)

    Lifting Strength: Class Z

    Striking Strength: Class XJ

*All values are given at their absolute maximum.

    Standard Equipment: N/A

Intelligence: Well-read and highly adept at reading people and situations, Xala is perceptive of the world around her. This, however, leads to social anxiety and fear of judgement from others - both Xyri and other organics alike. She's the type to enjoy reading books and gaining knowledge, but still has some desire to communicate with others. Her isolation has been hard on her mental state, but the generosity of the Parahumans has caused her to defect from her origins and pursue the one she's fallen in love with.

    Optional Stuff

    Theme Song: Breaker of Faiths

Random Facts: socially inept slime girls best slime girls

  • Name/Alias: Czar-Mir | Mir

    Gender: Male

    Age: 23

    Appearance:
    Image

    Species: Parahuman

    Backstory:
The Czars were never really one of the accepted families on Madworld, descended from Russian midshipmen and viewed with suspicion constantly for their strange customs and funny name spelling, they were one of the many countless low-blood families trying to make a living in the isolated island nation. Their kind was known for producing some powerhouses every generation or so, but their heritage and customs held them back from rising out of the slums and the ghettos where the peasants resided. Mir has a large family of brothers, sisters, and cousins, and all were impressed into the Forever Knights at some point, yet he managed to make a friendship with the rising Maxwell Morningstar.

That friendship and eventually coming under Max's leadership when Max became a Paladin put Mir on a path to the highest positions in government for a low blood, joining Rebound and expressing a profoundly parahumanitarian policy and set of beliefs. His actions would help bring many of Madworld's poorest and socially excluded families and people into the modern age. He and Otto Godblessed share much of the same ideas, leading to their frequent collaborations and team work.

Given an incredible gift of solar empowerment, few ever realized that Mir was one of the physically strongest Parahumans in the nation. His neutral and calm demeanor always made the man seem weaker than he really was. Physically able to go toe to toe with Shatterstar and fast enough to keep up with Jump Man and Stop Motion, he represents a gentle giant among the Godbreaker faction, using his experiences as a low-blood peasant to help guide and shape domestic policies and represent Madworld abroad when able.

    Powers and Abilities:

    Weaknesses:
    • Vibranium: Effectively drains Mir of his solar energy reserves and drops his power level.
    • Limitation to telepathic assaults and magical energies.

    Destructive Capacity: Large Planetary

    Speed: FTL (x10+)

    Durability: Star Level

    Lifting Strength: Class Y

    Striking Strength: Class XKJ

    Standard Equipment:
    • Sun-Absorber Armor: Specialized armor developed for Mir by Maxwell that continuously feeds Mir a steady supply of sunlight and solar radiation as it takes it in from the surrounding environment. It gives the Paraman the distinct regal look above, a personal choice for his allegiance to the Mad King The outfit also filters out much of the microscopic Vibranium Mir would come into contact with.

Intelligence: Highly adaptive and empathetic, Mir is a lover, not a fighter, and is a public servant, not a scientist. He's keen on human interactions and the role government plays in their lives, and is very keen in that regard. Well-respected even by Otto Godblessed, the Asgardian God of Justice, he is a capable leader and driving force for lower class action. He lacks technical knowledge and function, as well as combat smarts beyond basic training and exercise, but makes up for these shortcomings through diplomacy.

    Theme: Breaker of Heavens.

  • Name/Alias: Helene Orleans

    Gender: Female

    Age: 23

    Appearance:
    Image

    Species: Parahuman

    Backstory:
Heiress of the Orleans Family, Helene descends from a proud line of wealthy merchants and bankers, whose financial power allowed them several high-blooded privileges despite their relative inability to produce powerful offspring like the Shatterstars and Valentines. However, their blood eventually produced Helene from an arranged marriage, introducing a trait of energy blasts and higher condition than the mainline. Helene was meant to be used to leverage, but she was eventually pushed into Maxwell Morningstar's circle to secure the Orleans financial future should Morningstar usurp Sovereign.

Helene was never a die-hard Morningstar loyalist, doing only as her family told her, which alienated her from other Godbreakers and kept her voice and opinion rather lacking. She tended to vote with and side with other high-bloods like Wildstar, Maddox, and Valentine, but would occasionally side with a majority if it presented itself to her. Lacking in depth and personality, she is one of the least known Godbreakers and mistrusted of the bunch.

    Powers and Abilities:
    • Parahuman Physiology: A token power from her species, granted with all Parahumans.
    • Energy Attacks: Capable of firing blasts of energy, Helene is a powerful and precise blaster, feeding her energy reserves from ultra-violet radiation from the sun solely for the purpose of expelling it as attacks. Often paired with Czar-Mir due to their similar power reserve origins, they do not get along due to their different heritages.

    Weaknesses:
    • Lacking ultraviolet radiation to absorb and fuel her powers will rapidly deplete Helene's energy projection abilities.
    • UV-Blocking elements will diminish her powers' potency and effects.

    Destructive Capacity: Town Level

    Speed: Hypersonic

    Durability: Town Level

    Lifting Strength: Class 100

    Striking Strength: Class GJ

    Standard Equipment: N/A

Intelligence: Relatively unknown, Helene does not often think for herself and is used as a chess piece for the Orleans Family to have an ear on the throne.

Name/Alias: Maximus Ellingson/ The Hunter

Gender: Male

Age: 23

Appearance(Pics are fine, include costume if needed!): Image

Species: Human

Backstory: Throughout human history, we have been threatened by otherworldly and paranormal creatures. They try to enslave us, rule us, kill us and hunt us for sport. Then in England, a great warrior and king named Arthur Pendragon brought together his greatest warriors to form his great questing group. Their goal? To seek and destroy these threats wherever they may exist. Over time, the original members of this group died and passed on their titles and abilities to their children. The families branched out, with many of them dying in the male line or forgetting their duties to humanity. Today only three families remain The Pendragons, direct descendants of Arthur and Guinevere, The Ellingsons, who trace their lineage to the great Galahad, and the Godwisons, whose family tree begins with mighty Lancelot. To this day, all three families still fight threats that greater heroes might not see, and protect the innocent from the shadows. Maximus is the latest in the line of Galahad and protects New York from attack by mysterious beings. He is the hero that people always pray for, Kind, generous, protecting, and most of all: non-destructive. However, he is also the one they never see.

Powers and Abilities:
Maximus can utilize: pistols, shotguns, bows, swords, crossbows, and wooden stakes

Weaknesses: He can be affected by every means of human death, illness, injury, and other such physical impediments. He also can get very cocky, which will lead to a mistake.

Destructive Capacity: Wall level

Speed: Athletic Human

Durability: Human

Lifting Strength: Peak Human

Striking Strength: Peak Human

Standard Equipment: Battle Jumpsuit, pistols, crossbow, and some wooden stakes.

Intelligence: He is about average intelligence, if one says that average is completing high school and doing about a year of college.

Muh utility apps:

Name: The Celestial Army

How large is the faction in numbers: Dramatization: INFINITY!!!

I'm... kidding, it's a bit less than that. Though, to a normal person, it's a pretty close representation of the sheer numbers of the Army. With millions of hyper-efficient factories constructed out of annexed and conquered planets (not on, by the way, but out of. Think a planet-sized machine constantly pumping out androids) scattered all over the Universe, not to mention the zillions of bigger and smaller armies just roaming around, there's quite a lot of heads to count. Not even the Army itself bothers to count. But, since I have the power of the Word of God, I'll give you some statistics.

Class A - A rough estimate of somewhere between 15 to 55 quintillion.

Class B - A rough estimate of somewhere between 400 to 900 quadrillion.

Class T - Somewhere around 50 trillion.

Class N - Somewhere around 900 billion.

Class E - Somewhere around 50 billion.

Class X - Somewhere around 50 billion.

Class M (offscreen planet factory maintenance workers) - A rough estimate of somewhere between 10 to 150 quadrillion.

Class Z (the control guys, these staff the Celestial Command Carrier and plan military attacks) - 550

Fun fact: During the Federation War, Celestial Android armies got so huge that they started exerting a noticeable gravitational pull on the surroundings and itself, clumping all robots into a giant ball and immobilizing them. This became such a huge problem that Ismodeus had to develop a gravitron collection module, which essentially makes sure that the Androids do not make a gravitational field of their own. They can be affected by the gravity of planets and stars, but not by each others.

Short description of Tech level: Celestial futuristic shenanigans.

Before his infamous service as an intergalactic robot overlord, Ismodeus was one of the Celestials, and a pretty nifty and geeky one at that. He brought all of his technical knowledge with him, and used it to create the first Celestial Androids - an impressive piece of machinery, as witnessed in their race's app. Of course, there's that, but no army could survive without the required logistics. And these aren't just some pushover. The heart of the Celestial Army is in the Celestial Command Carrier - an enormous, dozens of miles wide, intergalactic carrier spaceship that serves as the headquarters and mission control of the entire organization. Most importantly, it houses the Great Theta - a massive supercomputer that all but two Celestial Androids are connected to. The Great Theta and the Carrier are home to the wandering Celestial warlord, and are staffed by the Class Z androids, as well as guarded by an entire squadron of Class X. The organization utilizes teleporters and large transport ships for moving the Androids from one place to another.

Celestial tech is the main principle of the Celestial Army's technology, but that's not to say that they are not working on things of their own design. The Class X and Power Influx are good examples of that.

Short history of the faction: The history of the Celestial Army begins with Ismodeus (Ismodeus the Constructor), one of the countless Celestials that existed since the birth of the Universe. A somewhat geeky person for a divine-ish entity, he just hanged around there most of the time and tested out samples of life-form technology until the Aspirants and the Godkiller rose up to challenge his race's rule. The long war of attrition began, and Ismodeus was one of the first to try and fight the humanoid robot by creating a machine of his own to try and out-compete it. It was a dramatic failure, the prototype was destroyed and the Celestial was blasted into a galaxy, buried under his contraption's remains. The other Celestials immediately labelled him as "dead", but the poor bastard didn't actually die.

Finally waking up on a deserted rogue planet a dozen million years ago, Ismodeus saw a barren and Celestial-less Universe above him. Believing that his race has been completely wiped out, he settled down and began doing what he does best - build stuff, just without anyone interfering. Using whatever he still remembered from the clash with the Godkiller and the studies of life-form technology, he built his own fun-sized robot, which he creatively called the Celestial Android. They were cute and small, but powerful for their size and easy to produce. That's when an idea toppled the Celestial's head - why not build an army and test it out against some little alien civilization?

So he did. A few years later, he was already aboard a massive Command Carrier floating above a planet-factory with a few billion troops at his disposal. The target was there - some odd insectoid race that barely got to their moon.

BAM! Surprise invasion. Planet's army destroyed in a single blow, population decimated, then slaughtered. In a matter of days! This was starting to get really fun for the little Ismodeus. He turned a few other planets into factories, built up an even bigger army, found a bit more developed civilization - a species of sentient bacteria that just colonized an another planet outside their star system. BOOM! Colony razed, factory built. Off to the capital! They didn't last long. A week until the last living members were crushed. The fascinated Ismodeus went on a craze - made half a dozen other types of robots, created a staff to guide him in his conquests, built up an even bigger army, named his cause "The Celestial Army" and set his goal to "Conquer everything!"

All was going well at first... but then the others took notice. Some unknown force was destroying civilizations one after another! Something was wiping them off the map! The Canis Majoris Empire and a bunch of others banded together in a Galactic Rescue Federation, built up their own forces and marched forward to save everyone from this new danger. Even more species joined up with them in this noble goal, and thus the Federation War started. The first battles went in Ismodeus's favor - the numbers were on their side - but then Canis Majoris moved in the elites. The super-powered forces, ones that the Celestials themselves were a cause of. The Army had no counter to superheroes other than throwing more Androids, which didn't work.

Ismodeus got a bit scared. He wasn't the strongest Celestial himself - a weakling, to be exact - and the enemies were starting to take a hold. This incentivized him to begin developing a counter - Class X. We know how that story went. Soon, the Federation started losing again, species were getting wiped out one by one, and finally, the Celestial Army shot a beam of matter at the star in the capital of the Canis Majoris Empire, imploding it and making it go hypernova (still hasn't nova'd for us yet, DAMN YOU FINITE LIGHT SPEED). The Federation War was over, and now there was nobody who could stop the Celestial Army in it's tracks.

Maybe there is, but they haven't gotten to them yet. Nor have they reached Earth, yet.

Race(s) the faction is made up of: Celestial Androids only.
I have a severe case of addiction to writing. At least 3k words every day is my fix.

Read my RWBY fanfiction!

Half life related character app.
Oh boy.
This is finished!
I think.
Name/Alias: UU:01:SCT:690
Universal Union, designated rank 01, scout, tag 690
Or just 690

Gender: Male by physical appearance.

Age: Early thirties in appearance. Much older.

Appearance(Pics are fine, include costume if needed!): https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/imag ... ebWJwRA2Aw
Though he doesn't use a stunstick anymore, the outfit is mostly for show of old times.

Species: Human/Cyborg

Backstory: 690 has long forgotten his human name and barely remembers anything of his time on Earth. After his planet, atleast in whatever world his existed, was taken over by the UU things changed for the worse. His Earth currently holds no life and all humans have been rounded up and taken off towards who knows. Though a small minority of the population was purposed into soldiers or guards for whatever the UU needed. 690, in this case, was selected to be a sort of scout for other worlds.
Though it is thought, atleast by himself, that it is a running joke he can't die and is simply being used as a meat shield for combine invasions.
He has currently not 'invaded' worlds and is waiting to be sent out via teleporter to some random world.

Powers and Abilities: Increased human strength and durability. Increased endurance. Large variety of alien gadgets (Will be list below). Robotic physique in certain parts (Right arm, both legs, several organs such as eyes and insides).

Robotic arm uses: Can shoot/transfer electrons at a fast rate. AKA: Shoot electricity in a way that looks like lightning.
Extreme durability: His arm is made of an alien metal called bluesteel, extremely heavy and almost impossible to break.
Arm blade: His arm has a blade, made of the same metal, that extends out of his forearm. It is about a foot and a half in length.
At full power/energy the arm can punch through most things within reason, even other bluesteel platings. Though at this level his body will be shaking/bleeding/it isn’t a good time.
He carries multiple tools in his arm. Such as welders, etc.
His arm contains about four batteries at any given time, this does not include any extra he may keep.

Robotic body powers:
Eye zoom: He can zoom in his eyes to about the average range of binoculars. He also has night vision and thermal.
Enhanced metabolism: He gains a lot more from food though this is used to transfer his calories into more electrical energy in his robotic parts.

Weaknesses: Being killed. Extremely potent EMPs will leave some of his body in a state of knockout for atleast thirty minutes.

Destructive Capacity: Small building level

Speed:10m/s

Durability: Small building level. Though most of his fleshy bits are going to be lacking.

Lifting Strength: Class 25 at max energy, in his arm. Class 1 normally.

Striking Strength: Class MJ at max energy, class KJ normally.

Standard Equipment: Robotic body parts, never leave home without it! Standard CCA uniform, odd considering he isn't a member of it anymore. Fully functional gasmask. An altered kevlar vest, the original mimicking your average police grade kevlar, that is capable of taking almost any standard ballistics.

Altered glock 19 with plasma infused rounds. Almost like an anti-armor round but more devastating to biological targets. He carries about five spare magazines.

He also has a one man space ship...only so if he is teleported into space he won't die. Though he obviously can't keep it on him. It does compress though, to about the size of a large table (So he just hides it somewhere). It also has enough storage for about three weeks of food and spare magazines for his weapon.

Several UU batteries to power anything he may require, also compatible with most Earth designs/some alien. They can be recharged by electrical sources, his own metabolism, and sunlight that makes contact with his arm (That takes a while though).
Several meaning about 10 extra.
Each battery can probably power an entire city for the span of about five minutes. It's a lot of power....he goes through it a lot.

A small grappling hook on his waist, because why not?

UU interface datapad. How he contacts the UU and check files/whatever he might need. It also hosts the main data of a portable A.I. he was assigned. (Mostly there to make sure he doesn’t fuck up).

Intelligence: Above average but hindered by insanity/stupid.

Optional stuff.

Theme song:

Random Facts about your character: Killed his first person when he was in his mid twenties.
Suffers from Schizophrenia though has it largely monitored by medication...hard to do when out of his home galaxy though.
Custom fit and created his arm...his legs are just generic robotic ones though.
Can ask for supplies from the combine home world!....Though it takes a while....like....a while while.
While still human he fought, and killed, an alien shark.
Has died, had his heart stopped, a total of fourteen times.
His robotic parts run off of his metabolism, though any other augment (Such as shooting electricity) requires other power sources.

And now for his bosses....
Name: The Universal Union
How large is the faction in numbers: Massive. It spans many galaxies and even dimensions in some cases. An accurate census would be impossible.

Short description of Tech level: Capable of teleporting between dimensions and parts of space, though it is largely inaccurate and costly in terms of power. Has created fire arms using plasma and other hazardous materials, piercing most natural armors and materials. Capable of making most, if not all, biological organisms immortal, to an extent, in some way (Though doing this with everyone obviously doesn't suit their needs).

Short history of the faction: No one knows for sure of its origins but the UU has been known for taking over planets and galaxies without mercy. Using a mixture of technology and synthetic creatures to achieve its goal.

Race(s) the faction is made up of: Humans. Alien creatures. Synthetic creatures. Robotic creatures. Anything from worlds it has conquered.

Name/Alias: Adrian

Gender: Male

Age:17

Appearance(Pics are fine, include costume if needed!): Normally/always looks like this. http://imgur.com/7q4TRtw

His body glows/changes into a material similar to the kind on Asura's arms/body when he gets enraged, like this. Note the arms. http://neatgam.es/wp-content/uploads/20 ... h-03_0.jpg Asura is the one on the right for people not knowing of the character.

Species: Human.

Backstory: Adrian was just a normal teenager in the mid east part of the United States....and then puberty hit.
Hard.
Real hard.
Like a truck.
He found himself harnassing his anger/discontent for the world. So while trying to balance out new feelings and such that he had for the world/girls/himself he would find himself becoming unbelievably mad. To the point where he found himself glowing sometimes. No one, he knows of atleast, knows of his power as he has taken good care to prevent getting to that point of rage in public but he has found that the ability requires less skill and more...pure rage.
Though his life is pretty normal so far.
His father recently took up a job at Area 51, which was the coolest thing to happen to them, but him and his mother and brother stayed in their home state because of family reasons. Now he just avoids conflict with people around him and tries to conceal his hatred of things.

Powers and Abilities: The ability to push forth his anger/rage/wrath and use it in a physical means. Think Asura's ability (Link for reference: http://asuraswrath.wikia.com/wiki/Asura)
There are a few notable changes though.
His rage isn't as limitless as one could think. The hulk could get mad and get even more mad over the course of a battle. It takes a lot of effort or a cause to just 'become wrathful/enraged' so it doesn't scale as well as you might thing.

Unlike Asura if Adrian gets to the point where he is creating arms out of Wrath, lets call the energy that fuels him Wrath, he can create as many as he can sustain. If Asura had a limit of about six, including his own two, the average Adrian could have would probably be four without major rage.

The more Wrath he has/is using equates with his durability, strength, lifting and striking power, and speed (The speed portion scales much more slowly but with pushing power sometimes he can cheat out some more).

This also includes 'resistances'. A slightly enraged Adrian is still weak against calming magic or tranq darts or something of that kind.
A fully enraged one would shrug them off.

The Wrath material is a pretty good source of "How to break barriers". Though it requires a sufficient amount of force and rage could be lost at the boredom of trying to break a force field over and over and over and...you get it.

If swinging/punching hard enough Adrian can throw his 'Wrath energy' at people as projectiles...think Ki blasts but not as good/can't be charged as much. He can throw as many as he has arms.

He has a sort of healing factor in which his original body parts can be regenerated using Wrath, though generally this is used at the beginning or end of a fight. Being enraged and losing an original body part though, like a leg, isn't lethal as it normally seals it self and he can put a fake one over it...though this hasn't happened so far. The copies are also obviously different and have a look similar to Asura's...so until then he still has normal arms!

When he initiates the whole "We are getting into rage levels that are going to kill me" his entire body glows with Wrath and the arms he can create, if there are any, look a bit like this (There is still only two of them, his body also takes a color/material similar to Asura in the photo http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/asu ... =webp)

He can glide kind of with Wrath if he really needs to but it's more of a "I prefer to jump everywhere" type of energy.

He can also traverse space if enraged enough but at his current state he wouldn't be able to unless in the final level of being enraged...but at that point he'll just die cause evaporating.

Weaknesses:
Being calmed before becoming sufficiently enraged.
The same thing but with psionics in general as Wrath doesn't guard the mind unless you are in such levels that he shrugs off everything.
Becoming saddened. Such as having a loved one held captive or bringing up bad memories.
One of the issues with his power is that if he uses TOO much Wrath it will start breaking down his body.
The final 'power level' he has isn't even his 'final form' per say, he just needs to find a way to control it better.
The scaling take into account Adrian has not much fighting experience but he has the advantage of "Don't need experience to have good durability from rage"

There are three tiers of strength for Adrian, so far.
Later on there will only be two, the "Normal human" Adrian, and the "Enraged" Adrian, and that forms power will span anywhere from the current tier three and some point between then and infinity.
Normal,Enraged/battle and finally... Extremely angry destruction of himself or others imminent mode.
Destructive Capacity:Street level, basic human. Earlier on is building level, with more rage it increases to city block Country levels

Speed:
1m/s 100m/s Mach 10
Durability:
Human level Multi city block level Continent level
Lifting Strength:
Average human Class M Class T
Striking Strength:
Class H Class PJ Class ZJ
Standard Equipment:Nothing what so ever!

Intelligence: Hasn't even finished highschool....has some common sense!

Optional stuff.

Theme song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6H3MUry ... streetsk8t
It's not a song.
Just screaming.

Random Facts about your character: He's the 'this universe' version of 690 that didn't have a chance to fuck up his life yet in his twenties/get enslaved by aliens.

Name/Alias: Derrick Quinn/Lanvin

Gender: Male

Age: 38

Appearance(Pics are fine, include costume if needed!): Business Suit and Typical Appearence

Species: Human/Mutated Human

Personality: To outsiders, Derrick may appear to project an aura of "definiteness" and self-confidence; this aura of self-confidence is commonly mistaken (rightfully so in some cases) for arrogance. When it comes to areas of expertise (and Derrick has several), he is able to tell someone almost immediately whether or not he can help them, and if so, how (although in most cases this request is often flipped and Derrick starts questioning how that person can help him). Derrick knows what he knows, and perhaps still more importantly, he knows what he doesn't know.

Quite often, Derrick can come across as a perfectionist, with a seemingly endless capacity for improving upon anything that takes his interest. What prevents him from becoming chronically bogged down in this pursuit of perfection is the pragmatism that is so characteristic to his personality: Derrick applies (often ruthlessly) the criterion "Does it work?" to everything: from his own research efforts to the prevailing social norms. This in turn produces an unusual independence of mind, freeing Derrick from the constraints of authority, convention, or sentiment for its own sake.

Derrick does whatever he can get away with and is always out for himself, pure and simple. He sheds no tears for those he kills, whether for profit, sport, or convenience. In addition, Derrick has no love of order and holds no illusion that following laws, traditions, or codes would make him any better or more noble. To some, it may seem like Derrick has become a victim to his own power.

Backstory: Derrick Quinn was born to Jodie and David Quinn in Boston on the 3rd of March, 1978. The first of his powers started to arise during his early schooling life; when Derrick was able to solve complex puzzles without much thought or - in the case of more complex logical challenges later in life - little scientific equipment. Needless to say, this done wonders for his academic career; which was leaning towards the scientific spectrum before a road freak accident (the fault of a catastrophic mismanagement by the local city government) left him not only an orphan, but also showing minor sociopathic tendencies. Following the accident, Derrick surged across to the political side of the spectrum; developing a super-human sense of lie detection as he started to climb the political ladder which, combined with his enhanced memory, only helped him become more and more influential.

Within three years (at the age of 19) Derrick was elected to serve as Massachusetts' representative in the US senate; while he was successful in this role, his sociopathic nature began to become more and more evident and he was voted out of the position after only having served one term. Derrick promptly vanished off the map and adopted the name "Lanvin", he soon started to target those responsible for his downfall; first discreetly - where he started fabricating flawless anonymous claims of local political corruption to cause public disdain against the ones who had replaced him, before he switched to more aggressive tactics - telekinetically throwing a governor's car off of a bridge being one of the more extreme examples.

While 'Lanvin' is wanted by the FBI and CIA on the grounds of being a terrorist and a serial killer (many of Lanvin's more personal revenge kills were found with their heads sliced open - often seen with their heads sliced open horizontally at the center of their skull and their brain removed. Other victims were violently pinned to walls, impaled, or beaten), Derrick Quinn remains unnoticed; however it is rumoured that he will be running for re-election to the Senate in a few months.

Powers and Abilities: Telekinesis (Replicated), Lie Detection (Replicated), Enhanced Memory, Intuitive Replication/Intuitive Replication, Radiation Emission (Replicated), Enhanced Hearing (Replicated), Electrokinesis (Replicated), Microwave Emission (Replicated), Pyrokinesis (Replicated)

Weaknesses: Very impatient, not physically built for fighting, extensively using his replicated powers (aside from lie detection) takes a severe physical toll on Derrick (often requiring him to rest afterwards), his powers are severely negated through sedation and drugs (alcohol included), going too long without either gaining a new power or understanding how a new complex system works will cause him irreversible mental trauma.

Destructive Capacity: City Level

Speed: 1m/s (2.2mph - 3.6kph)

Durability: Human Level

Lifting Strength: Average human

Striking Strength: Class H

Standard Equipment: A modified Russian Tokarev TT-30 pistol, Bulletproof suit

Intelligence: Extremely high.

Optional stuff.

Theme song: Oh Death - Lanvin's Theme, Derrick Quinn's Theme

Random Facts about your character: It is notable that due to his Intuitive Aptitude power, with each super-power-possessing individual he kills - of which he had already killed five prior to his arrival in Chicago; Lanvin becomes stronger and more powerful.

Powers replicated since his first appearance: Microwave Emission, Pyrokinesis

Name/Alias: Alton Gotti (Mirror)

Gender: Male

Age: 24

Appearance(Pics are fine, include costume if needed!):

Alton is an average height, skinny, though still healthy, man that is lightly tanned. His grey eyes appear almost metallic, and has a thin ring of gold around the Iris. His hair is kept at a shoulder length, and is well cared for. He usually walks around in a shirt in jeans, what he's most comfortable in, but when he goes out to be a hero, he wears a rather.....noticeable outfit.

Picture below is to big for the forum restrictions, also imagine him skinnier as that's the thinnest I could get this to work at <_>

http://i.imgur.com/nYax1CF.png

Species: Human/"Spriit"

Backstory: Alton had a relatively normal childhood. Fairly average parents, and sister in a rather flat, boring city. As soon as he could, he moved to New York City where he went to college to get his current Engineering degree, and now works cheaply due to being inexperienced, and young compared to most of the other engineers he knows of.

His powers manifested during a robbery at a convenience store where he was working (still in college) at the time. The duo of robbers accidentally smashed some glass as they were fleeing, taking Alton's girlfriend (at the time) hostage to get out. In his panic, he sent shards of glass flying at them, seriously injuring them, though no one was killed, and he wasn't implicated, though records of this event probably still exist. Since then he's learned to control his powers better, and does everything he can not to use lethal force, especially avoiding shaping glass in a way to cut, when dealing with petty criminals.

However, ever since his powers manifested, he's been seeing a strange girl. Though she looks to be about 17, she claims to be far older, though she can't recall her original name. She asks only a few simple things of Mirror. One, that he never kill if he can help it. Two, that he dress at least semi-respectable when he desires to use the powers she claims to have granted him (Discounting emergency situations). Three, that he never forces her to do something she's uncomfortable with. Finally, four, that he doesn't outright tell anyone about her without her permission. So long as he follows these rules, though she did say there would be times where she would make exceptions, he would be granted as much power as she herself could spare. In reality, she has no control over his powers, or their strength (other then unraveling their bound souls) and only did this to have a little fun.

Due to their bond, the powers of both Mirror and Mary are constantly growing, sometimes one ability jumps, sometimes a new ability emerges, but mostly pre-existing abilities slowly grow stronger. In the four years they've bonded, their respective powers (current strengths listed below) have tripled, though the growth has slowed, more new abilities have been cropping up.
Powers and Abilities: As a note, all but the listed exceptions (on the specific power below) are considered magic, even the glass he manipulates is surrounded by magic.
Catoptric Teleportation: Range currently limited to 2,500 miles per teleportation

Glass Manipulation: Cannot create/generate glass (Currently, may in the future), can mutate one kind of glass into another (obsidian into palladium-glass, and vice-versa) but this takes time, and lots of energy, tiring Mirror. Mary says that if Mirror follows the path of some of her previous hosts, he'll eventually be able to make glass golems.

Light Manipulation: Fairly self explanatory, can use it to fly, create light-only illusions (can make small items feel solid, but this currently rapidly exhaust Mirror), dazzle opponents, and similar. Currently he can't use more then one ability at a time (If he's flying, he can't shoot, or cast illusions) create shields, or go invisible.

Immortality: Limited, and guaranteed by Mary to never increase in strength, so long as Mary holds a piece of his soul (or a piece of hers survives in his) he does not age, and if his body is destroyed, over the course of months or years (depending on the strength of Mary) he will eventually be reborn, emerging from a mirror somewhere. However, it is not true immortality. If a piece of his soul was not guarded my Mary or vice-versa (you unbind them) and then his body is destroyed, he is gone unless something else revives him. Mary (Below in her own app) has the same thing, but with no body takes a lot less time to recover. However, if both their souls are destroyed simultaneously, they are both gone.

Dimensional Travel: While limited to traveling through reflective surfaces like his Catoptric Teleportation, Mirror can travel between different dimensions, though he is still limited to their current relative positions (IE if he leaves on Earth in dimension A, he arrives in the same rough place in dimension B)

Mutation - Enhanced Dexterity: Mirror's main advantage in close combat is his extreme dexterity, making him hard to hit, and easy to hit you. At his peak he is probably at as dexterous as Spider-Man, though he doesn't have incredible strength, or danger sense to back this up.

Mutation - Enhanced Durability: See below

Weaknesses: Separating his Soul from Mary's will cause his powers to rapidly dwindle in power, disappearing completely within thirty minutes, his body is also mostly human, so most toxins, venom, and pathogens lethal to humans will kill him, as will the vacuum of space.

Destructive Capacity: With Light: 7. Town Level: When focused into a blast, currently Mirror could wipe away towns, or parts of cities.
Glass: 5. Large Building Level: At the peak of his glass used in this manner, he can rip apart large buildings before the amount of material gets to be to much for him to control.
His own strength: 2. Street Level: He's only slightly stronger then the average human, and not enough to reach 3, so his own hits are fairly weak.

Speed: Running: 1m/s (2.2mph - 3.6kph)
Light Flight: 6. 1000m/s - His current top speed is nearly halfway between 6. 1000m/s and 7. 10,000m/s at 4,470.4 (Mach 13) putting him squarely in 6.

Durability: 5. Small Building Level: Simple, his body is far more durable then his frame would indicate, but there are still MANY that can tank hits better then him.
When in a reinforced glass suit of his making, can push this up to 10 City Level, but making enough glass of the right type would take months due to how exhausting this would be.

Lifting Strength: Himself: Above average human (80 - 120 kg
Glass: Class M (10^6 - 10^9 kg): The mass of the largest ship, small pyramids. Current limit is actually 10^6.45 KG

Striking Strength: Himself: Class H
Glass Strike: Gigajoule class. Whether a focused stream of glass, an accelerated lump, or a suit surrounding his own body, his glass strikes pack quite the punch.

Standard Equipment: Palladium-Glass mask (Stronger and tougher then steel, though quite heavy, very, very hard to break), brass knuckles for brawls, a cane with a glass ball on one end, and a small pocket mirror he can stretch for quick deportation.

Intelligence: Just slightly above average, but is a structural engineer (with a minor in general physical sciences, and a personal specialty in glass)

Optional stuff.

Random Facts about your character:

Has a secret urge to be extremely flashy with a light show, and literal theme music.

AND NOW

Name/Alias: Mary "Bloody Mary" Harely (She's not literally Bloody Mary, though some of her previous hosts used her to help spread the popularity of the myth)

Gender: Female

Age: At least 150, she was born in Victorian England.

Appearance(Pics are fine, include costume if needed!): A girl of seventeen or eighteen usually wearing Victorian-style clothing, that can be seen (by some) in more modern clothes. Has deep red eyes, and raven black hair.

Species: Human/"Spirit" (Her soul, she lacks a physical body, is bonded, and wrapped around Mirror's soul, making them, in soul at least, conjoined beings, though most of their souls are distinct, they blend into one at places, almost like conjoined twins)

Backstory:

Mary remembers nothing of her years alive, and has forgotten most of her hosts who hunted her down, unlike Mirror who accidentally bonded to her. She has, however, done some twisted things in her past, and rightfully earned the nickname of Bloody Mary with some of them. While she does not have a body, she can still influence the world around her, but almost no one but her host can see her, and she can't help that (yet, if ever).

Powers and Abilities:

Invisibility: Mary is permanently invisible in all spectrums of light, and generates no sound. Only those skilled in magic, or cosmic powers are able to perceive her.

Invulnerability: Completely immune to any physical attacks not infused with magic or cosmic energy, Mary is extremely hard to harm, and beyond that has an incredible constitution, probably part of why her soul stuck around.

Magic: Mary is a powerful, and versatile Mage with a penchant for elemental attacks, especially those involving glass.

Telepathy She is also a powerful telepath, skilled both in the arts of mental invasion, and defense, but is not strong enough to be said to have a psychic shield.

Blood Manipulation They very thing that earned Mary her nickname, she is a powerful Hemakinetic, but has since binding to Mirror found herself under a new barrier. If the blood she manipulates does not come from a willing source, she has to break through mental barriers to coerece some part of the sub-conscious into allowing it, greatly restricting this ability.

Weaknesses: Her soul is vulnerable, and with his fractured psyche, and buried past, a good attack at her mind could cripple her for months or years. She is also bound to Mirror's physical form, unable to get more then ten or so meters from him at any time.

Destructive Capacity: Magic: Mountain Level, she can level entire mountains with her strongest attacks if she isn't careful in focusing them.

Speed: Her soul is bound to Mirror's, his speeds are hers.

Durability: 10 City Level, her soul is old, and bound tightly to this world, she can survive or weather through attacks of a great magnitude.

Lifting Strength: Magic: Class M (10^6.65 KG)
Hemakinesis: Class 10 (10^2.5 KG)

Striking Strength: Hemakinises: Terajoule, this is the strongest it's ever been (every host grows, and receives different powers, as does she) and she doesn't yet realize it's this strong.
Magic: Gigajoule class (Her elemental attacks using physical masses)

Standard Equipment: None

Intelligence: Above Average

Optional stuff.

Random Facts about your character:

Has a strange penchant for anime, but refuses to tell anyone.
When we lose one we love, our bitterest tears are called forth by the memory of hours when we loved not enough. - Maurice Maeterlinck

There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love. - Washington Irving

It is easy to hate and it is difficult to love. This is how the whole scheme of things works. All good things are difficult to achieve; and bad things are very easy to get. - Confucius

Weaknesses:
- If his tail is grabbed, it can cause extreme pain

Name/Alias: Prototype

Gender: Male

Age: 23

Appearance: 5 foot 10 Caucasian male, with medium length, dark green hair that hangs down in his face. He wears brown boots, with tan cargo pants, and a black tank-top. He wears grey/black fingerless gloves and an armband around his right arm.

Species: Android

Backstory: Originally a human living in Wyoming under the name of Gregory Lancer, Prototype was the lab assistant of a scientist that was thinking of ways to enhance the human race. So like Doctor Gero who created the Androids from the Android saga, the Scientist turned Gregory into an android against his will. The process had a downside however, and Gregory’s memory was wiped as a result.

In an act of confusion and fear upon waking up, Gregory accidentally killed the Scientist. He would then stumble upon files about himself when he desperately tried to figure out who he was by looking through the Scientists filing cabinets. Striking Strength: Super Human

Standard Equipment: His body is equipped with a radar system, as well as the ability to make small repairs to his body (Not able to replace limbs, but can fix cuts and holes slowly)

Name/Alias: True name can’t be described in a way for mere mortals to understand it, so he goes by the name Conundrum

Gender: It varies on who sees him.

Age: 5000 years

Appearance: His true form can’t be comprehended by anything other than an Ancient one, or a Half blood. But for the most part, a beings brain will most of the time interpret him as a 5 foot 4 inch Caucasian male or female, with dirty blond hair of medium length, and casual clothing consisting of: A white sweater with a red shirt underneath, Blue jeans, and black and white sneakers. However I'll leave it up to you to decide what he looks like.

Species: Ancient One Half-Blood

Backstory: Born from a human mother, and an Ancient one Father, Conundrum grew up in a time of peace. However civil war broke out within the Ancient ones, and they destroyed themselves, leaving Conundrum and the rest of the Half-blooded Ancient ones scattered across the Multiverse alone as the last members of the once powerful race.

Conundrum was given a ship by his father when he was only 15, and after the Ancient ones died out, Conundrum decided to explore the Multiverse. His travels have taken him to many places, worlds, and timelines, but now he’s decided to explore this universe.

Powers and Abilities: Enhanced senses, durability, and strength. Able to detect other Half Bloods/ Ancient ones in the area. If somehow a Non-Ancient one/ Half-Blood sees his true form, it can overload their mind and lead to brain damage or death. If his true name is heard by a Non-Ancient one/Half-Blood, their minds will interpret it as a loud High-pitched squeal.

Weaknesses: Anything that would harm a human.

Destructive Capacity: With his ship, a building.

Speed: Slightly super human

Durability: Slightly Super Human

Lifting Strength: Slightly Super Human

Striking Strength: Above average

Standard Equipment: Twin blaster pistols. Plasma sniper rifle. He owns a ship named TUS Traveler

Intelligence: high

Optional stuff.

CHAOS FORCE

Ralph the Rat-Leader
Powerful Psychic who is still training to unlock his full potential. Ralph is often calm and stoic. Not saying too much but beneath his rough somewhat akwardly anti-social personality is a heart of gold. Ralph cares about his friends, nature, his world and most everything else. But he is also stubborn. Often unwilling to change his mind once a goal has been set.

Ashley the Hedgehog-2nd in Command
Ashley is a former extreme gear racer with ability in aerokinesis. She is confident, outgoing, playful and loud. Loves attention and hates boredom. Able to literally ride the winds she can also turn them against her opponents. She is a free spirit in contrast to Ralph who has always slaved himself to his duties as a guardian. A people person and affectionate, Ashley is easy to get along with. Also a rival on friendly terms with Rabbot Rose for Ralph's attention.

Solar the Hedgehog-Best Friend and Sidekick
Solar is the long time friend and ally of Ralph. Solar's most notable traits are his really humble attitude and his super speed. Unlike most speedsters, Solar is not cocky, brash or arrogant. Rather he is somewhat timid and unsure of himself. The shortest and youngest of the team, he is something of a little brother. But he is the most loyal of any of them. Standing next to his best friend long before the Chaos Force formed, and likely will be standing there long after they part ways.

Barrow the Bear-The Muscle
Barrow possess super strength but a lazy demeanor. If he is not needed, he is normally taking a nap or eating. Sometimes even snacking in battle. Barrow can punch though boulders and steel easily. As well as lift objects far larger than himself. It is unknown how strong he actually is, because he has little interest in testing his limits. That requires too much work. But Barrow is actually a gentle giant, who would rather take things easy and share a good meal rather than fight. But when he is properly motivated, pulling punches is not an option.

Rabbot Rose-The Brains
Rabbot Rose has several notable traits. First, she is a cyborg with several artificial limbs which can alter into various weapons but also vastly increase her strength and jumping ability. Second she is a genius with machines and technology, not only building her own artificial limbs, but the Aurora command/battle airship and many designs for various fighting androids. Add to this she is the only member of the team who is trained in hand to hand combat. Despite this, in a way she is the mother of the team. Seeing to everyone elses needs as she is the most well rounded and mature. She also competes with Ashley for Ralph's affections, she is just more subtle about it.

Chaos-Redeemed Guardian
The only one more silent then Ralph, the six foot Chaos may also be the only one more compassionate. Chaos abhors fighting and harming others, and serves with the Chaos Force to make amends to his past. Chaos is difficult to harm and almost impossible to kill, his big weakness being the brain inside his liquid body. Chaos can change shape and to a limited degree size at will. And possess super strength and manipulation of existing water sources.

Reboot App

Name/Alias: Ralph the Rat

Gender: Male

Age: 16

Appearance(Pics are fine, include costume if needed!): Shunned Defender

Species: Mobian(Rat)

Backstory: Born in a Overlander Mega City, deep beneath the streets and in it's sewers Ralph grew up in a clan of Rat Mobians that resided in the city. The only mobians left due to the intense racism of their kind by the Overlanders, and their ability to live rather easily in the polluted cityscape. Ralph grew into his abilities early, and found a home teleporting and traversing the city's sewers and occasionally skyline. His talents well suited to evading pursuing Overlanders and reaching any place within the city with ease. Living rather carefree and actually defending the citizens of his city from time to time did nothing to change the fact that he was shunned by the people he defended, unable to see past him being a Mobian. This never bothered him, because for all of it's flaws, his home was his home. But the Overlord of the city was killed by a political rival, and once word spread, suspicion soon found it's way to his people, and they were violently forced from their homes and fled the city into the surrounding countryside.

Taken in by fellow mobians, he learned of ancient myths, of unlimited power in seven emeralds that could plunge the world in darkness. Of a supreme emerald which could negate their power. And of fabled heroes...A Blue Blur who would achieve a superior form to defend the world, a mobian fox genius with no equal, a silent strong willed protector of the Master Emerald and a compassionate hammer wielding heroine.

But the power they battled over with the forces of evil, were long lost and thought to be nothing more than ancient memories. However, while Ralph was exploring the ruins of an ancient mobian civilization, he discovered a brilliant green shard. What he found to be a piece of the fabled Master Emerald. Realizing that if it existed, then surely the Chaos Emeralds existed as well, and remembering how many times the world had been threatened by their power, he resolved to restore the Master Emerald, as it could negate the powers of the Chaos Emeralds, providing Balance. But there was another who sought the power of the ancient legends, a Green Hedgehog who is the fastest thing alive, bent on revenge on Overlanders and humanity, seeking to use the power of the Chaos Emeralds to wipe them out and claim the world for Mobians, with himself as king.

Ralph would come to clash with this being several times in the coming years, known as Scourge the Hedgehog and rumored to be the descendant of the ancient hero. But now, with both of them closing in on the final Chaos Emeralds and the Master Emerald Almost restored, the fate of their world hangs in the balance.

EVERYTHING FOLLOWING IS NEW CANON HISTORY

Eventually, Scourge accidentally unleashed Chaos, an ancient monster who has nearly destroyed Mobius in the past, and now was unleashed once more. Additionally, Maelstrom a Chaos Demon arrived, along with a hero from another world. Max united with Ralph to defend Mobius and Ralph harnessed the positive energy of the Chaos Emeralds to calm and defeat Perfect Chaos. Exiting the super transformation dubbed 'Super Ralph' Aurora, diety of the Mobians used the powers of the cleansed Chaos Emeralds to transport Max home, and Ralph, the Mobians and Overlanders to a new world, called New Mobius.

There Ralph trained and matured in his psychic powers, defending New Mobius as he founded the 'Chaos Force' a Mobian and Overlander hero group. However, as he was meditating...or brooding, hard to tell which, he heard a telepathic cry for help from a very nearby planet called...

New Namek

Powers and Abilities:
Advanced Telekinesis

Super Ralph state increases power 1000 fold

Weaknesses:
While there is no definite way of calculating his level of psychic strength, it has a limit. Which can be increased by training over time. So, his telekinesis will lose a lot of effectiveness if facing enemies who are stronger physically then he is mentally. Example, if he attempted to telekinetically freeze the a more physically powerful enemy, the enemy would simply 'break out' of his psychic grip.

Destructive Capacity: Mountain Level

Speed: Sub Sonic (Can teleport)

Durability: Large Building (Can increase this immensely with telekinetic barriers)

Lifting Strength: Human (Via telekinesis, City)

Striking Strength: Human (Via telekinesis, Mountain)

Standard Equipment: N/A

Intelligence: Ralph is of average intelligence. He is rather gifted in archaeology and is a fast learner. But so far his intelligence has been geared to mastering his abilities and studying about the mythical Chaos Emeralds.

Name/Alias: Gelus

Gender: Male

Age: 120

Appearance: Dark blue skin, green eyes, and long white hair coming down to his lower back, 6 foot 5 muscular build, with a grey military uniform, and black combat boots.

Species: Android

Backstory: Gelus was built on the planet Skriox 120 years ago to be the perfect soldier. His body was outfitted with a crystalline generator capable of producing a type of energy known as “Omega Energy”. This energy could be used in a way similar to Ki based powers, and it allowed Gelus to gain considerable strength.

However things went horribly wrong with Gelus, as he began to question why he should take orders from those clearly weaker than he was, so he rebelled and destroyed His entire planet as a result. After this Gelus began exploring the stars, searching for someone powerful to face him in combat. However this lifestyle of going from one battle to the next bored him, so he began to assemble a troop of warriors to travel throughout the galaxy and raid planet after planet of their riches. They have also taken up mercenary work as well.

Powers and Abilities: Omega energy powers, Flight, Able to tap into more energy to boost his power, constantly creates more Omega energy, but at a slow pace. Furthermore he has to tap into his energy reserves to use it.

Weaknesses: His durability is lower than organic beings (But only slightly) so a strong technique will damage him. He has a healing factor, though it is nowhere near as advanced as Prototype’s.

Destructive Capacity: at 10% power: Town
20%: City
30%: Island
40%: Part of a continent
50-60% : Continental
70%: Small moon
80%: Half a small planet

Name/Alias: Dream State

Gender: Male

Age: 174

Appearance(Pics are fine, include costume if needed!):
Image

Species: Human

Backstory: Dream State, real name Jacapo Triallia III, grew up in a privileged aristocratic Italian family in the 1840's. His father was a very esteemed physician and hoped that with Jacapo would follow in his footstep. He sent him to the best private school money could buy, and even there Jacapo proved himself to be one of the smartest around. Once he graduated college he went to medical school for psychiatry against his father's wishes, but he was fascinated with the human mind. Dreams in particular. He stumbled across a few books of roman philosophy during his studies and slowly became obsessed with roman thought and what he would come to call the Dream State. The Dream State, he postulated, is a very real subconscious would within each of us that is connected by mystical links, and these links can be reforged or even hijacked if one knows what one is doing. He dropped everything else and focused solely on being able to access not just his own Dream State, but those of other people. Eventually his experiments were a success, but at a terrible cost. He continued to hear echos of minds he had melded with long after the connection had been severed and the effect compounded. As his sanity was decreasing he also learned that the longer he kept someone under, the more control he had over them, to the point that he could drain life force to sustain himself if he invaded and conquered their mind. But as he aged and aged the pursuit of learning no longer satisfied him. He had to put he knowledge to the test. So he swore to eliminate the worst of humanity in order that he might create a utopia filled with the worthy and intellectual.

Powers and Abilities: He can call forth monsters from people's worst nightmares into the real world to attack them. They are visible only to the person and cause very real damage. He can also trap the weak willed in a fantasy or nightmare worlds where they will find there deepest pleasure or most horrible pain. For those with wills strong enough to escape his mental prison he can still mentally coerce them into doing his bidding, only the iron willed can see through his mystical enchantments.

Weaknesses: No super strength or superhuman durability. He is also susceptible to medication, if he is knocked unconscious his spell wears off.

Destructive Capacity: Street Level

Speed: 10m/s

Durability:Peak Human Level

Lifting Strength: Peak Human Level

Striking Strength: Class KJ

Standard Equipment: A spell book and roman styled high tech armor

Intelligence: Extremely high with magical augmentation

Optional stuff.

Name/Alias: Dromopoda or Pod

Gender: Female

Age: 16

Appearance(Pics are fine, include costume if needed!): 6 foot five with an athletic build, red hair, and cold green eyes. She also has thick armored plates covering her fore arms, the back of her neck, back, knees, and torso with a large armored spiked tail.

Species: Human Scorpion Hybrid

Backstory: Dromopoda was engineered in a bio-weapons facility in Southern Texas. The research team attempted to disposed of her with toxic gas, but her stinger broke free and she shattered the glass observation window. She escaped with a few dead and many wounded and went into hiding for several years. Her mutated appearance scared away most people, except for the underworld businessmen who offered top dollar for her services. Until recently she has been in the employ of the Russian Mafia as extra muscle. This stopped when she found out that the Mob was smuggling in test subjects to the very lab she had escaped from. It took most of her resources to get resettled, but she ended up in Jump City without much hope for the future she is dangerously close to turning back to her former way of surviving.

Name/Alias:

Yoshio Tokai/Yoshi

Gender:

Male....ish?

Age:

26

5' 5" approximately 110 lbs. Pale skin white skin, left eye is bright emerald green, right eye is turquois, but usually covered by his sweeping bangs that cover most of the right side of his face. hair also has long ponytail in the back, usually held in place by a red hair tie. hair itself is solid black. features are soft and almost childlike. usually wears solid black hoodie and dark bluejeans, occasionally a red or black kimono or blue yukata.

Species:

Homo Urus

Backstory:

Yoshio Tokai was born in another dimension, where Earth is still known as Earth, but the continents and countries, and even species are all very different. He was born to a Navy Commander and former heiress (whole nother story) in the Republic of Urran. Yoshi was a cheerful child until the Third Elemental War broke out, resulting in the bombing of many Urranese cities. Yoshi lived on a military base with his family because of his father's high rank. Unfortunately, it was one of the largest and most important of Urran's naval bases and was the first to be attacked. Yoshi was returning home from school when a cruise missile striking the base's residential area incinerated and flattened his home. Both of his parents were instantly killed, but Yoshi was thrown back by the force of the blast. He wandered the base for over an hour, seeing many things that are not for children's eyes. He was eventually taken to an orphanage as his father was an only child and an orphan himself, and his mother's family wanted nothing to do with him. He was 12 at the time. No one ever adopted him and he left the orphanage at age 19. Yoshi grew up shell-shocked and painfully shy, yet managed to graduate from a public university with a degree in journalism. He worked as a journalist for many years, landing a job writing for a newspaper that specialized in writing happy stories. Still, Yoshi was painfully shy and often retreated deep into the woods to get away from the noise of the larger cities. He once did this so that he could observe a rare meteor shower, however, he got much more than he bargained for. One meteorite actually struck the mountain, causing the inquisitive Yoshi to go and investigate. Yoshi found the crater and, not content with just seeing that the steaming metal meteorite, ventured so far as to poke it with a stick. He was enveloped in a blinding flash of light and was rendered unconscious. Upon regaining his consciousness, he was confronted with the face of a celestial being. It informed him that he had been gifted with special, otherworldly powers because of his pure heart. These powers included the ability to heal serious injuries. Yoshi used his powers for the good of others, continuing his journalism job, living in solitude, and secretly helping others along the way. However, through incidents not understood, he was tossed through a portal and now exists in a brave new world, a world of infinite justice.

Powers and Abilities:

Stronger than an average human. Able to heal most injuries and cause plants to grow. Unusually good with animals as well, can likely communicate with them telepathically. Can sprout a pair of angelic wings, giving him the power to fly and levitate. Can also form forcefields and use them to lift or push objects. Only offensive ability is the aura beam, a stream of pure radiation that can be fired from the palm. It has a great destructive capability and can result in the destruction of buildings, it is rarely used.

Weaknesses:

Despite self healing abilities, Yoshi, as a bit of a nature spirit, is not at all immune to fire or toxic chemicals and these can do him great damage. Typical lack of oxygen and being cut in half are also not good news for him.

Destructive Capacity: small to large building

Speed: 100 meters per second in flight, 410 meters per second on foot

Durability: large building

Lifting Strength: lower end Class 5

Striking Strength: Class KJ

Standard Equipment:

Cell phone, book bag

Intelligence:

Gifted but not genius
