So the name of my ideology is going to be " Totoangism" It will be a combination of leftist economic policies ( Mostly command economics and nationalized everything) with right wing nationalist social policies ( All is done in a shona or the local African language, no foreign influences, only African culture and Africans) It will focus for the Unity of all Africa under a single authority. It will promote a strong vanguard government in order to achieve this end. It will be highly critical of the west. A state that attempts to be as economically independent as possible. A state in which the government interferes with religion and demands that all homilies be done in either Shona or the local language. Bans all non-African or Arabic immigration. Heavily encourages African and Arabic immigration. Heavily emphasizes African arts, music, literature, and looks over any other kind. All Literature to be published in Shona or the local language. And for all non-African or non-Arabs to have their citizenships revoked and deported.

This ideology will be mostly characterized by its African supporters, but it can also be used as a call for all continents to act in this way.

Brazil spent much of it's time before the crisis of 2024 energy-wise investing in hydroelectric and other sources, and when the crisis struck Brazil began to harness more local fossil fuels as well as nuclear and existing renewable sources. The GDP's dipped a fair bit and unemployment's risen to 9 percent, but overall Brazil did extremely well during the crisis, with many calling it the "south american energy tiger". During the crisis, Brazil also became more isolationist diplomatically, and while trade was still big given Brazil's abundance of natural recourses currently Brazil cannot be said to lean to either the west or the east alliance-wise. O'leary, the current president, comes from a united front of rag-tag centrists and pragmatists that formed in the last election. O'leary himself is pretty pragmatic, and he nationalised a lot of the industry in order to make sure his country didn't collapse in the crisis. As said before, he did pretty well.

So, Brazil is now neutral geopolitically, has an economy with a dent but not a collapse, and is gliding pretty well through the disaster. O'leary's approval rates are generally high via his optimist rhetoric and the country's performance compared to the rest of Latin America. Time will tell if this good performance continues...

The European Union was a rising force in 2015, and vehemently pursuing renewable energy, integration, peace and continued advancement, it went through some reforms and changes. The European Parliament began to dominate the European Council, the restrictions on the proportionality of its election tightened, and its powers somewhat centralised. A pan-European military was founded, into which national militaries were slowly integrated (though not absorbed), and the European structure of government became ever more distinctive; a huge, almost unicameral, proportional legislative body, with the executive and judicial branches subjugated and its electorates having far less impact that they would have in any other country.

As the former Yugoslav states all became candidates, along with Ukraine, Moldova, Norway, Iceland and the microstates (under the "Microstate Acts" passed by various bodies), with Albania joining, the European Union found itself able to fully claim to represent Europe. Its increasing power and centralisation, however, including proposals to merge the UK and French UN vetos into an EU veto, and to extend the Schengen and Eurozone, began to alienate some. The UK, in particular, experienced an upsurge in Eurosceptic parties. Finally, it left in 2017, whereupon the remaining states reacted in solidarity. Albania and Serbia joined not long after, and the Eurozone was extended to include all members of the EU except Albania and Serbia. Various actions were undertaken by the central government, from establishing the European Union University, to making all universities free, to homogenising immigration policies due to the extended Schengen policy, to reforming control of the Euro for its users and European constituents, to helping reestablish Latin for the ever more diverse union.

It continued to develop and centralise, switching around its policies and laws to better and more fairly serve its ever-more-connected members, until the oil crisis hit in 2021. The EU had already been surging towards renewable energy, and especially due to the exit of the UK which was relatively un-renewably friendly, it had exceeded many of its 2020 goals. This, however, only emphasised the need, and as Norway joined with its helping hand in terms of oil and gas, along with Greenland reentering with Denmark and a few other outlying "colonial" regions, it almost became militant. Thorium came to the forefront in terms of nuclear production, while efforts to import gas and oil from more friendly areas, such as Ukraine, were made. By 2024, the EU was forging ahead in terms of combating climate change and developing renewable energy, while also beginning to evenly spread its social model of government.

With CFK unable to run again, her Justicialist Party and Frente para la Victoria scrambled bloodily for a successor. The FpV's share of the Congress was cut to 35%, and a runoff took place between Randazzo and Margarita Stolbizer of UNEN, which took 40% of Congress. Ultimately, Stolbizer narrowly won with just 51% of the vote. She promptly continued Kirchner's jingoism on the Falkland Islands, buying a new missile system and trying to renew Argentina's decaying navy. However, the Argentine debt crisis distracted her, and she was forced to concede to the vultures' demands or face an inflation-induced depression in 2017. Argentina's economy recovered and began to bounce back again by 2019, in which the UNEN coalition won a bigger majority. Two years later, the oil crisis struck. Argentina suffered only a moderate gas price rise, but its' economy contracted all the same- this being due to Neuquen Province's oil reserves in Vaca Muerta and Los Molles.
