Nekronia wrote:Since a new day's going to start, I should probably work on my app and get it up tomorrow. Although, with over a dozen IC pages and already-elaborate interpersonal connections, I feel like I might be a bit late to the party now. Especially since the character I'm using takes a bit to grow on IC characters and might just get shot for being a brat. A useful brat, but still an instigator. *rubs chin*
Eh, I dunno. I haven't read the IC so I'd probably need a summary in any case, but depending on how far things have come it might be best for me to throw my reservation out. Maybe I should look for an XCOM-esque one since I'm hyped for XCOM2, and this entire thread sounds like it's directed specifically at my character Jackie. He already has an excessive amount of detail and background information from being a veteran of two RPs (3 if you count the reboot of the original), so I might want to save this card for another day. I'm not kidding when I say that whole thread is Jackie-y. Pretty much everything aside from trying to *ahem* crossbreed are up his alley. Surfing on military RC copters and constantly calling things by the wrong name for references are absolutely his thing. That's why I want to use him here, because the potential for so many shenanigans when the law is gone and there are mutant abominations roaming the streets. "TAAANK!" "What, the army's back?!" "No, Reaver. Dammit, it's- forget it. Scene's ruined. Just run or shoot, run or shoot, DO BOTH!"
I'm tired. I feel like I'm sounding like an egomaniac or something right now. But my god Jackie is known in both of the RPs he's from to be amusing to the players. He once abused the "anti-friendlyfire" rule of the magical test to have his superstrength buddy hurl him at an enemy vehicle at several hundred miles per hour. Jackie is probably one of the few people on P2TM to create a situation wherein "accordion" and "machinegun" are next to eachother in the same sentence. Great comic relief, great delusional philosopher.
