Does gifted mean someone would have, for example, increased athleticism or something, or camouflage towards the infected?

I'll try to balance out my character, he's Gifted, has no physical increases but gains some sort of "camouflage" towards the infected, yet as a downside he is EXTREMELY contagious and cannot come near healthy individuals, and reavers are not affected by this, for some reason.

Bio: Originally being sent to Chicago to decide his fate by court of law after he stole a high-powered weapon from a gun shop, Eric found himself in the middle of a battle between the Law enforcement, and.. things, that did not seem alive. Soon, he found himself on the run yet again, not only from the Police, but also from the individuals wanting to take him in for "Quarantine and testing". Eric found that his newest enemies, being the infected, would not attack him unless he had the scent of food/uninfected on him, so they turned out to be his best friends, but at the same time, his greatest enemies, knowing that at any moment they could turn on him at once and kill him.
Eric found himself holed up in an empty grocery store, with nothing but his clothes, a week's worth of food, a self-made spear (made up of a hunting machete, duct tape, and a couple of PVC Pipes. Using the dwindling supplies he had in the store, combined with his "cloak" and stealth skills, he began scavenging the areas around him in search for more supplies. Though unskilled in using ranged weapons like guns, he found that his combination of stealth and scavenging would do him better than raiding, even if he had to kill off a few uninfected in the area who threatened his safety.

ACCEPTED. Gifted can take many forms such as increased strength, immunities (to other illnesses), and even advanced intellectual faculties. Essentially it makes you somewhat better in some fashion than a normal person though with the cost of being contagious and capable of spreading the infection. The hidden trait works well enough and I think that it would probably be useful. Just try not to get accidentally shot.

Also, as a general note, the infected are alive and are not undead if anyone was wondering. Most infected will probably die off given enough time while Reavers and those with higher intellect will probably be able to survive for longer periods. I will also add the new accepted characters to the roster when I get the chance.

My work schedule suddenly got weird so I will be offline for long periods of time throughout the next few days so expect late replies from me. As such if my character is holding things up simply assume that she's following Vincent for the time being if you do not wish to wait.

I know a horde of infected is about to be very pissed off by our antics so maybe in the ensuing chaos (whenever AA posts since he's the designated driver at the moment) you two can get caught in the wave. Bio: Born in Philadelphia, to a middle class family, Connor wasn't exceptionally gifted in anything really, but he made up for it in adaptability, determination, and hard work. He'd worked for pretty much everything he had as things outside of holidays were rarely given to him. Working hard in school paid off as it was easier for him to get into college, and soon after a job. He'd some how landed a job with a private security firm, one of those companies that helped train police officers, soldiers, or civilians that wanted to train themselves. He'd quite liked his job, it paid well, his coworkers were nice, and it had everything he liked.

Despite the best efforts of CPD, and the National Guard, the federal government thought it be best to have eligible security firms back up police officers and Guard units to help in the Quarantine. While it may seam unconventional, and odd, desperate times call for desperate measures. They'd act like an immediate extension to whatever unit they were assigned to, taking orders just like any other officer/guardsmen would. The number of para-military units operating alongside police units however would be minimal, as it sparked major controversy, and debate, halting many companies from deploying additional reinforcement to the ill-fated quarantine zone. Connor's unit was one of the few contractor units actually deployed in the CQZ (Chicago Quarantine Zone), he'd see intense clashes between rioters and infected against the Guardsmen and Riot Police, sometimes both at the same time. When the quarantine finally failed on Day 19, the Riot Guard would face an immense clash between them and infected persons, ending with a rather disturbing body count. Connor got out unscathed, but his fellow Riot Guard were not so lucky as many perished either during the intense fighting, succumbed to the infection, or simply disappeared. With no standing orders, and no link to any sort of higher-up, Connor's main priority is to stay alive, and regroup with other survivors.
