Apocalypse Rising RP. Learned a lot since then. I was skeptical about forum RP's, but I wanted to try something new, and all other RP's had a mandatory "previous experience" thing going on. Sadly it didn't last very long after I joined.

Fun fact: As far as I can tell, my very first RP posting was a dick joke.

Going on a trip down memory lane. I miss this RP. It was my first one that made it past the OOC planing phase. God I was a shitty player back then, but it's these guys who taught me what a good RP was.

I at least tried to maintain some semblance of professionalism, seeing as how I was RPing a nation, not a person.

But fuck that noise. I much prefer P2TM nowadays.

I joined back in March, so I haven't changed too much in my writing style, sans my usage of commas. I have however learned to use things like align, or links, and all that other useful stuff.

It's really just the rigid adherence to realism that bugs me. Everyone will ride your ass like a two-dollar whore if you don't know what the stick shift on a tank from the Soviet Union in 1962 would do, let alone if tanks even use a goddamned stick shift.

It's way more mentally exhausting than P2TM. I'm not saying International Incidents is a waste of time; it's just not for me.

Yeah. The Operators was like my second RP, and AA still jokes about it with me.
I played in the 2020 RP that was around a wile back, and let's just say I had a large army and lots of resources. I practically invaded three different countries one after another, and still gained international support. It's finally dying.

You either have to be 100% accurate or 10000% fantasy, no in between.

Yeah, but the cartels still snagged our informant, and we still had to kill like fifty people.

So are they ever going to come back to New Eviston?

And, we're talking about an RP, that happened about a year ago. It was a military SF unit, and Terrians burnt down a building that had alpha team in it, wile bravo team watched us slaughter 50 guys. And that was our first op.
