Surely it would be possible to have them invade and shake things up, and then have them be fought off?

I mean later on, in like a week or two IC it would be fine. But this place is pretty well defended, there would have to be probably a thousand infected or more. We have a Striker, and at least two hummers, plus the technical, and countless explosive weapons.
