You are talking to someone who has literally been studying WW2 since he could read. Japan couldn't have taken over China, but that doesn't mean the Chinese weren't less badass than America. They had their cities burned, their children massacred, and their women raped. We had a harbor bombed. China lost around 14 Million people, we lost 418,500.

14 million is even a low estimate.

Description of Your Nation's Economy: The Chinese Economy was in shambles after the invasion and subsequent repulsion of the Japanese during the 2nd Sino-Japanese War, and had to be rebuilt. This led to manufacturing setbacks, but the industry rebounded and the capitals of industry such as Beijing began to go into overdrive in an attempt to recompensate for their weakness and the war about to burst out in Europe. Young men volunteered for the armed forces, and several women and those too old to work began running the factories. China's military ranks have swelled, and they are in full swing towards military production, importing food in exchange for weapons even. In addition, the opimium industry is booming through Hong Kong, and brings in a surplus of money.
Description of Your Nation's Government: The People's Republic of China is a single party state under the dictatorship of leader Chiang Kai-Shek, and under him is the Generals, and then the Politburo, each member heading a facet of the economy. (IE Arms, Agriculture, ect.)

Alternate History: China won the 2nd Sino-Japanese War, and underwent a communist revolution in the year of 1923, shortly after they became part of the COMINTERN. Later on, they broke, but not after receiving the plans for the revolutionary T-34s and KV-1 series tanks. While airpower remained at a minimum, the military began producing these tanks in some number, which came to a shock when the Japanese invaded for an additional time. Beating them back, China used it's newfound confidence and urged it's military forward to take Manchuria from the Japanesse and conquer the small country of Mongolia. Now, it prepares for a new threat, one from the western front, while making alliances with the rest of the Communist Societies of the world.
