We were also a major player in WWII. We couragously came to both continents and killed them into teeny tiny pieces. We were the reason the allied won WWII.

Compared to the Russians all of the other nations were little more than a distraction.

Ok, the main reason America could get onto the European mainland was because Britain was able to unconquered and continued fighting the Germans, Italians and Japanese all the way through. Without Britain being open, launching an invasion of the European mainland would've been a logistical nightmare.

That's debatable, but neither Russia, Britain, Australia, Nor the US could have won the war alone, thinking so is just plain stupid.

The Chinese held off Japan long before America did.

But America or Britain or France or anybody didn't lose 30 million people.

And the only reason Britain was unoccupied was due to a simple fluke.

Yeah, mainly because we didn't have 30 million people to spare, oh wait we did, we just didn't lose as many.

America isn't an invincible nation that can do everything and totally take on the world with burgers and bald eagles. Logistics is always going to be a problem, even for the United States.

Just a second ago, you were talking about how much England needs nukes, now you say it is bad that they exist? Make up your mind!

Both Britain and America were little more than insignificant in the war against Japan. China had been fighting against Japan since 1937 when the Brits and Americans got their asses kicked in 1940 and 1941. Ever heard of a thing called the Rape of Nanking? Battle of Shanghai?

Aye, but the men who dropped the bomb thought at the time it was a better alternative than a full invasion of Japan which would result in millions upon millions of casualties. The japs were prepared to fight to the death...

What mistake, exactly? The Germans could never hope to invade Britain even if they did win the Battle of Britain

Everyone has heard of those, I have a book on the Second Sino-Japanese War. And I'm not saying the Chinese weren't valuable, they managed to unite communists and nationalists to fight a common enemy and they endured some fucked up shit, I have nothing but respect for the Chinese.

Yeah, pretty damn fanatical although the only issue with the Japs were they had to get their own food so they often resorted to cannibalism, not the most moral boasting of actions.

When you're trying to invade a powerful nation in a faraway continent with no bases there, I'd say that's a pretty fucking big logistics problem that not even America could pull off.
