Sure! The rangers are being led by Æðelric Siltshield (Kennick's firstborn son Anseal is the actual head ranger but he's more or less catatonic/dead right now). I was planning on him maybe surviving the battle if Brinehold falls and having him become a PoV character, following the Caelish as they head north and trying to chip away at their army bit by bit. The rangers are spread out all over the place and are mostly scouting so they won't be able to hit anyone particularly hard. And I'm not gonna lay waste to your army or anything with 500 hungry, tired dudes no matter how well trained they are.

Alright, so how do you want to play out the skirmishing? I'm thinking that the Caelish pin down the rangers, and after taking heavy casualties (like, 700 of the 1,500) manage to shatter them. At the same time the Caelish horde moves up, and can be seen on the horizon by watchers atop the Brinehold walls.

The next big issue will be deciding the fate of those supplies, and the Wharls transporting them.

I thought it was implied that the man Warren apprehended was a Christian terrorist. Jord might mind that, unless he didn't care to begin with. I guess we should wait for Jord's input. At which I will make my post then.

It wasn't. No Christian Terrorists were involved in the plot. Christian Terrorists exist, but the bombing was not their fault. I can't tell you who it was, however, without tipping Ghondie's hand.

However, it's likely that you just arrested a random Christian, because Victorian Forces are Pro-Trinity and don't quite get along with Christians. It would make sense to arrest opposing Religious figures, after all.

Well no doubt someone is still going to blame them, because any fuel for the fire is good fuel.

Also that Christian arsonist wasn't arrested for too long, given that his head is plastered on a wall.

Oh and we should compile a list of all the maps we've made.

Still, I would imagine if the rangers are hiding, they could get a good two or three volleys off before your men could really do anything, and retreat further into the marsh. Marshes are fucking hard too move in.

I agree with you, it'll be a running battle, and not even all the rangers will be in one place. It'll probably be closer to 300 vs 1500; the rangers might take out twice their number but are ultimately going to have to withdraw or be annihilated. I'm writing up a post now. Also I'll place Brinehold somewhere on the map, gimme a second.

Thinking about it now, I guess I could pinpoint House Valkir's sole holding of Lakir to be somewhere in the southern parts of Realm 2, maybe next to those mountainous looking bits. A while at it, I think none of House Valkir's troops might be out fighting anywhere, I mean I've never really stated it, and I think Warren might be exploiting a loophole to allow him to have a constant garrison of heavily armed House Retainers (heavy infantry) remain at Lakir, along with a unspecified amount of sellswords and tribesmen already hired, damn.

Well, Richard and the Swords of Solomon are, of course, sellswords, which means they will take contracts from anyone with gold. I had implied that the southerners (Persica) had orchestrated the raid/fire, and my men just carried it out. I wasn't thinking about the Christians, although I could probably change it if Jord so desires it.

I'm good with the Swords of Solomon being covertly contracted through Persican noble houses. The duchies and baronies on the northern borders would be most interested in continuing to foment chaos in Ghondra.

I figured that since Persica was supporting all the barbs attacking the North, I thought it only appropriate that they would try to instigate war.

This meaning he will do what ever it takes to gain and complete his objection. He at times is arrogant over his abilities which tends to get thrown out at tavern when he starts a fight.
Biography/Background:Pompier was a son of servants at a local knights house until that knight was killed by an assassin. Pompier had the luck to run into the assassin as he killed the knight. So instead of killing Pompier the assassin took Pompier with him of course after knocking him out. The man who Pompier later became to know was Fred Yhurstic, a well known spy and assassin for hire. Which of course only Pompier knew his name, but from the age of 13 Pompier trained under his mentor and at the age of 17 he had his trial he had to spy on a knight who was plotting a coup in a province and then kill him. Everything went off without a hitch until he had to kill the knight, Pompier hesitated for a second and the knight saw him. Which lead to a fight in which Pompier received a cut on his upper arm, lucky Pompier was taught to fight dirty and threw a near by torch at the knight then as the knight was focused on the torch Pompier kicked the man in the balls and slit his throat quickly grabbing any important looking documents and then quickly exiting the manor while being chased by the guards.

RP Sample: Pompier was sitting in the cool autumn air, it was dark not even the moon's shine was coming through the clouds. Which was exactly what he was hoping for, he had been tasked with stealing documents of a lords rival and then bring it to him. Though he had a time limit to do this, he had to turn the papers into the man who hired in within the next five days. Pompier wanted to get the papers yesterday, but his shadow gave him away the first time he tried it and now the whole manor was on alert. Guards were patrolling the whole area and it looked like lord had hired some mercenaries to bolster his guards numbers. Damn, this whole place smells of shit and piss. But now this guy hires mercenaries, now that is just over the top. I guess my client wasn't at truthful as I had thought. This lord had some money and that wasnt a good thing, if I am here I might as well steal some stuff for find a vault and steal some coins which would no doubt be heavily guarded. Then Pompier's thoughts were interrupted by the rustling of a bush, he slowly crept over to it and a bird flew out. He sighed and started to make his approach towards the manor.

Angus is going to be gunning hard to smash the Wharlish reinforcements and stop the resupply of Brinehold. It would make for a crushing morale blow to the city defenders.
