Stage One: Enter the Revolution
Background: Russia is a changing place, traditions, values, lifestyles and more began to rapidly change. Some called it a stupid, crazed generation, one that broke traditions such as arranged marriages, began teaching women how to read and claimed that the rich were hoarding the wealth from the poor. However, in many people's eyes, their view on this new rising power was different. For hundreds of years Russia was a kingdom of the royals, nobles and serfs. Each social class kept to themselves and hardly ever broke their line of order. But now, many call this an innovative change, bringing freedom, equality and liberty to the people. These people have begun to call themselves Bolsheviks and rally under a red flag headed by Vladimir Lenin and following the fundamental writings of the Communist Manifesto and Das Kapetal among other writings. The Czar has banned such radical thoughts, but to many, radical is not what they are, they believe that their cause is just, and that all civil societies should strive for such equities. But unlike before, they have finally begun to accept that their ideas will never be implemented peacefully, and so an Army is rising, of the poor, the laborers, the farmers, the civil servants, but also the intellectuals, the progressives and those effected by the dangers of completely unregulated capitalism. And so a great struggle accumulated in Russia and its many territories. At the time, the Bolsheviks were still allowing theists to be among their ranks, and so religious minorities from Protestants, to Catholics to Jews and Muslims have begun to shift towards supporting the revolution along side the atheists who head it. And even many Eastern Orthodox Christians share these views. The majority has finally shifted from Royalist to Communist and thus the odds are in the red movements favors. Even some military officials who are serving in the first world war have begun to doubt their Emperor due to some of his decisions and began to show dissent within the ranks. And so with this shift in opinion came the initiation of Red October, the plan to bring absolute liberty, absolute equality and absolute freedom to a land which restricted all of them. With less and less respect for the Royal Family with mystics and strange men such as Rasputin in their courts, even anti-communists have begun to lose their love for the Russian Government.
However, these revolutionaries will face many challenges, from the Imperial Government, Foreign Nations, and reactionary militants within their own movement. Allegiances will shift as more and more Communist theories begin to arise among the very culturally and religiously diverse militias. And each will need to decide where they stand on the hammer and sickle. Will they be able to gain enough support to change what is mainstream communism or will they fall into compliance with the Bolshevik Party leadership, whether due to agreement or fear. Of course in all of this you will also be needing to balance your communist ideology to help gain worldwide support in hopes of getting donations from communist parties and movements world wide.

Socialism: A political and economic theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.

Marxist-LeninismThe political and economic theories of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, later developed by their followers to form the basis for the theory and practice of communism. Central to Marxist theory is an explanation of social change in terms of economic factors, according to which the means of production provide the economic base, which influences or determines the political and ideological superstructure. Marx and Engels predicted the revolutionary overthrow of capitalism by the proletariat and the eventual attainment of a classless communist society

Communist Anarchism (Not Bolshevik Supported) Anarchist communism stresses egalitarianism and the abolition of social hierarchy and class distinctions that arise from unequal wealth distribution, the abolition of capitalism and money, and the collective production and distribution of wealth by means of voluntary associations. In anarchist communism, the state and property no longer exist. Each individual and group is free to contribute to production and to satisfy their needs based on their own choice. Systems of production and distribution are managed by their participants.

Christian Communism (Not Bolshevik Supported) Christian communism is a form of religious communism based on Christianity. It is a theological and political theory based upon the view that the teachings of Jesus Christ within the bible compel Christians to support communism as the ideal social system.
Support (Number of Christian Communist Revolutionaries): Very Low
Where you fit in: You are a revolutionary. You have had enough of this tyrannic system of serfdom and are prepared to fight and die to see the fall of the Romanovs. Red October is nearing and you have prepared for this for months, years, for some, even decades. You may lead a militia, or be an iconic revolutionary, or an every day member of the cause. You are operating in Moscow right now preparing to meet with a few Communist militias who are going to be working closely together to help gain a massive foothold in the area. No matter what type of communist you are, you have decided to take a part in this, and no matter who you were before, a teacher, a farmer, a factory worker, a religious minority, a homeless veteran, a poor peasant, a servant or a dissenting soldier, you are now a revolutionary in a massive international movement. And the Bolsheviks whom sponsor you have decided to spearhead this international revolution. So prepare for a great war in which tyranny will face off against the communist cause, which you will begin to influence, from its fundamental core system to its successes and failures, you will shape this new nation and help decide what Communism will become for better or worse.
