That's crazy do you remember any of them I'd love to hear about it, that's insane stuff thay escalated very quickly, personally I blame the Russians

The whole war could have been avoided if they just talked it through, but the complex series of alliances did ruin that

Well, four of my grand grandparents were born and lived in Transylvania, Austria-Hungary. Two of them were Romanian and the other two German. The one I'm talking about is my German grand grandfather.

At the beginning, nobdy believed that the "good Archduke" was killed. After it was confirmed from Vienna, most of the people were in the favor of a war. Even in the city where my grand grandparents were livng, anti Serbian and anti Russian demonstrations were held. Of course, nobody believed that a war could break out. They were in the middle of the summer, and my grand grandparents were planning to go in Trieste on holiday.

When Germany declared it's support for Austria-Hungary, everyone believed that the Russians would back down. My grand grandfather was sure that the Serbians would accept the ultimatum.

And then, in the day when the war broke out, my grand grandfather was in the town, buying something, I don't remember what. My grandfather wasn't born yet, so my grand grandmother was alone in the house. The neighbor's wife came with a newspaper. On the first page, big, "Österreich-Ungarn erklärt Serbien den Krieg", Austria-Hungary declares war to Serbia.

A hour later, my grand grandfather came home, and once he entered, my grand grandmother told him "Look, the war begun" At which he said, showing her a telegram:
"I already knew. I was called to the regiment."
I'm a Romanian, a vampire, an anime enthusiast and a roleplayer.

I know, you are right. Both my grand grandfathers from there joined the army, more exactly the Austrian Landwehr. Both fought in Galizien against the Russians but the other one was sent later in Transylvania agaisnt the Romanians. My other two grand grandfathers fought in the Romanian Army, and one died in Cernauti.

Well, my German grand grandfather had the luck to never fight agaisnt the Romanians, he fought against the Russians. The other one, the Romanian in the Austrian Army fought at the beginning against the Russians but he was then moved in Transylvania, and fought against Romania, including in the bloddy battles of Marasti, Marasesti and Oituz. Of course, he would have loved to defect to the Romanians, but he was a honourable man. And my Romanian grand grandfathers yes, fought against the Austrians and the Germans.

That's just amazing. A moment of silence in respect to all those who fought in the war on both sides

If you want it, I can use tools to make it look more perfect. As I said, I followed the official rules that are saying that you have to draw everything, including the circles, manually.
