History: First starting in the early days of the new nation the national party was a loose group of former soldiers and military figures whom did not wish for their new homeland to end up a socialist back water like many nations around the world were soon becoming. They new the only way to stop this from happening was to strike fast and hard against socialists and communists alike with the use of weapons and threats, of course none of this could actually be traced back to the organization, none of it could it was always a lone deranged gunman whom attacked members of the left. Although none of the members would openly say it they were ready to launch a coup at any moment they wanted, they had both the manpower and the arms it all depends upon whether or not the military sides with them.

After the death of his mother, Foharrister moved to Teervat, Columbia. His influential speeches of a direct democratic process and a more valuable form of currency placed a grip on groups of people plotted across Columbia. Eventually, Foharrister was elected as a Senator and Viceroy (if I can only choose one, I choose Senator). Recently Foharrister's father past, leaving his only remaining relatives in his immediate family being his son, Derrick Foharrister, his three sisters, and grandmother. In the past, Foharrister has held the political positions of Secretary of Economics, multiple governor positions, and a term in the IDF.

Emanuel Natan Foharrister

In the late 1980s, Emanuel Natan Foharrister, disappointed by the lack of a persons direct choice in government, formed a society known as the Global Democratic Composition. During the first convention, a small 238 delegates came to discuss how to give the people a larger base in government. By 2000, over 1,567 executive members of the society came to each convention, not including the large number of regular members and guests. In 2002, however, due to conflicting ideological beliefs between the Executive Member Officials, the society fell. Three years later, the society was revived by Emanuel's great grandson, Jackson Foharrister, only instead of being a movement-like society, it became a political party with a large structure of members known as the World Self-Government Liberty Composition. In Columbia, the party made its impact as many of the country's citizens were convinced by the party's speeches, that a limited direct democracy would better favor the people. In 2015, Jackson became a Senator and Viceroy, as well as the head of the party, and began to work to change Columbia with the W.S.G.L.C.

I would have a professional image, but as stated above, I cannot find a website to host the image, so I will describe it as best as I can: An open hand (connected to it's arm) is risen in the air, vesting a pair of wings (one on each side). One of the following words is written vertically on each finger on the hand, in the order from left to right: World; Self; Government; Liberty; Composition.

The party is strongly associated with a direct democracy, in which many laws would be made by referendum (the citizens voting must have certain qualifications, and have registered), executive positions, such as president, would be made directly based off of the Popular Vote. The party also believes in freedom of speech and the press, although have the restrictions of slander, libel, physical harmfulness, and extreme rumoring (when media makes extremely outlandish assumptions which can obviously harm a person). Some of these limits do not apply completely to the press and freedom of speech regarding the government.

Right wing, mainly in the circumstances that it believes in small bureaucratic based government, but believes in a government with a large free and people base.

Backstory/Biography: From a young fire breathing rouge with a distinct self righteousness he has grown older and more wiser as time has gone on. An eternal humanist believing in the potential of all, he is still quite a radical and holds onto his core beliefs despite the passage of time. Hope for the future is probably his greatest asset for despite the gloom and the darkness all around he knows he can make the world a better place for him and those he loves, his luck in life being almost divine providence of that.
Solomon was born and raised somewhere in the more arid portions of California, though he talks little of this so is not exactly known where by most. His father he never knew but he grew up with his young mother named Louisa. They weren't particularly wealthy but they but they got along for the most part with his mother having to work 2 jobs but still always finding time to care for her son. Simon's Mother was a nurse with knowledge in medicine allowing her to help others when needed. Her knowledge of medicine would be a boon for Solomon for whenever he was sick she could treat him to a degree. This was especially important since Solomon was a rather sickly child. He grew up peacefully protected from the terrors of the world outside his door. He learned to his lessons like how to read and count, how to fight, and all manners of skills needed by a growing boy. But nothing good and golden can ever last and as such one fateful dawn Solomon would wake up the sounds of shouts, his own mothers, outside his door. fear gripped him and he became frozen in place only capable of being a bystander of the tragedy to come. Solomon heard the gunshot, like thunder it seemed, and knew his world had shattered to pieces and had finally come to a resounding end. It seemed like hours before he finally stirred it seemed like hours had passed. Though in reality it had only been 5 minutes. When he came out and saw his mothers corpse he knew deep in his heart that all would be different and nothing the same. It all ended in a whimper, not a bang. Life was harsh from that point on and he was tested every single day of his life with life but he persevered and he made it through. when he came of age and with the knowledge of the horrors he saw he made a solemn promise that no other should ever have to experience what he did and that he would set himself out to achieve this goal. Disappointment would great him as he was constantly reminded of the problems of the land he lived in and how terminal they were and eventually came to the belief that one man could never truly fix them. As such when he heard of the expedition offer to go and settle in a new land he took up the offer and would form one of the original settlers. Though at first things seemed to go well with Solomon performing his best to help aid the settlement along but eventually problems did start arising. Disputes between Solomon and the founder James Nicholas Andrews would be come more and more common mostly dealing with the new nations future. Solomon would become one of the most vocal of James's foes within the Pioneer party forming alongside his followers it's most radical factions. Eventually as these things usually go it got worse and Solomon and his most loyal followers joined him and formed a new party, The National Civic Faction. Covertly he also organized a band of militants for his own use, a possible symbol of times to come. Today he is a grizzled old veteran at the age of 40 who has seen and done many things throughout his life and remains strong despite the ravages of time and barring some unfortunate accident is set to live quite a bit longer. In his belly rests a fiery spirit that wishes to bring good unto the world and desperately yearns to help those in need and an overall hope of the future ready for whatever is to come. He left his home and came to this country in order to try to make a more perfect society, a proverbial city on the hill, with this land and with his followers intends to make his dreams a reality.

Solomon's popularity, combined with his loyal and disciplined followers, and an influential major news network functioning as his mouthpiece he has become a very visible threat to the current government. Effective top down control and closed party lists requiring those who wish to be apart of the Faction having to be officially invited results in a rather monolithic mass that has little to no internal division, all of these "reforms" being prompted by Solomon's own experiences in "The Pioneer Party" with it's comparably fractured party politics. Support primarily derives from what can be refereed to as the middle class with equal measures from both urban and rural residents. The Citizens Guard which quietly functions as the Parties Armed wing, it is primarily active in the countryside and the more suburban portions of the cities. Members of the armed wing simultaneously are members of the Political Wing, though the membership is for the most part secret and kept from authorities. The CG, or Black sashes as they are usually called, derive from an informal body of Faction members who provided security for Solomon and other members of the party in social events like rallies and marches. Eventually Solomon decided to consolidate and organize them into a formal security force led by one of Solomon's closest confidants Albert Ross to form the paramilitary wing of the NCF. Partially as a result of the insurgency that has been waged by Black Phoenix the CG have grown in popularity especially in the countryside where national authority is comparably weak and not as able to protect the residents of those areas. In many cases CG units form the first line of protection for said communities and fill in the security gap going so far as to assist local authorities in their duties earning them legitimacy in the eyes of many. Both wings alongside his large media network are essential elements in what has commonly been refereed to as Solomon's machine that has taken up root in the nation and has spread well. No it doesn't work like that, the only way you can get a senate seat before elections is if you join a party that has seats.
