On a side note, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I kind of miss the terrorists.

Just putting it out there, as is the norm in most nations as it is considered an essential element of civilian control of the military and and all new military purchases are approved of by the civilian authorities as they are the ones who must pay for them.

Everyone who's running for president, declare today or tomorrow in the IC, elections are on Sunday. By the way, they're usually referred to as the 2016 or 2014 elections because that's when the voting itself takes place.

People running for Senate, just declare that your party is running, since we'd never get done with 150 declarations to run.

Also, answer me this, there is absolutely no guarantee if anybody at all will join the Columbian military. The entirety of our armed force consists of mercenaries. If nobody's going to join and all of the mercenaries leave, guess what? We have no defense whatsoever even against bandits or marauders. Maybe we'll get a dozen, maybe even twenty volunteers, but that isn't much or remotely enough for any duties whatsoever.
