The way I'd been thinking of it is that the demon was amplifying the host's natural abilites, so the powergrid was both of them combined but the distribution reflected the host's strenghts and weaknesses, is that the wrong way to go about it though?

• Iron-Willed: Goddamn if Van isn't so hardcore that he'd possess a will made of fukken adamantium. Whenever he puts his mind to something, this motherfucker gets some goddamn results.
• Pretty Guys Are Stronger: Look at that beautiful motherfucker, and then remember that this kid is a world-class olympic athlete, not to mention intelligent. It's like he's playing life on easy mode, goddamn. High strength, speed, and durable come with this package deal.

Weaknesses:

• Manipulative Bastard: Controlling, selfish, shit like that. He will not make real friends, and any he might pretend to have will not support him when it comes to light that he's just a dick all the time and whines about things.
• Ubermensch: Hilarious because of his German-Dutch ancestry, but terrible because he chooses to live by his own moral code instead of by the ones established by society like a good, edgy child.
• Above Good and Evil: Of course this fucker would think himself to be above the "petty" disagreements between Heaven and Hell themselves. Zant has his own plans in mind, and can rapidly change and alter them as time goes on and we delve deeper into the whole war business, but like a good hellspawn, he will work together with others if it furthers his own goals. Like a prick.
• Passive-Aggressive Kombat: Oh man, you know how some guys will just smack the shit out of you for so much as looking at them wrong? Van isn't that guy. At all. To him, fighting can be just as effective with words and slight phrases, not to mention tearing opponents without so much as laying a finger on them. He's calm, collected, and quick on his feet with hidden insults and damning praise. Not sure it's a weakness, but it pretty means he will actively avoid a fight. Pussy.
• Weak, But Skilled: Fuck Mnar, first of all, secondly, Van is a skilled combatant in fencing...but physically he's weak, with endurance that usually lasts a quick fight and nothing more. Has enough strength to slice through flesh with a sword but durability? What durability?

Nek, I'm going to try and read ALL of your posts this time. Even though your formatting of paragraphs (or lack of) bothers me.

Again, I'm sorry about that but Jackie's and Walter's shenanigans are too quick and interrupting for separated lines and other more conventional and easy-reading styles. I mean he changes pose every other sentence, and with Jackie's trademark tirades there'd be half the page missing if I spaced every change in movement and speech. I dunno. I'm happy to take tips if there's a method I'm missing.

I agree that if you indented after switching speakers, it would take a few screen lengths to show your post. How about instead of that long stream of alternating bold/underlined font, you break it up every 4 lines or so? Just double-enter after the 4th or 5th time you switch between Jackie and Walter, or something like that. Would definitely make my life easier, because I hate reading blocks of text.

Yeah. Jackie was still "below average" strength when fused with Walter, which was hilarious. Now that I've filled out the new powergrid without knowing it was fused power, Jackie's still physically disabled. It's hilarious. Although, unfortunately as a side effect of leaving him a stringbean like I wanted to, now he's a Jackie-of-all-trades at a yellow demonhost tier. Which is really strange. *shrugs* I honestly originally wanted Jackie in the original TKaG to basically fight with just his powers, brains, and sheer testicular fortitude. Unfortunately, I ran out of point slots on that one too so I had to actually upgrade him
