So the night prior to the current IC day, everyone arrived at the Chimera Tower. There wasn't much going on, but then some dicks started causing shit and Karlson, our lieutenant, got really pissed and shouted at everyone, before telling them to go to the seventh floor and pick a room and a roommate. A lot of stuff happened after that. People got into fights, someone blew up the elevator, and Matthius (another of our superiors) killed a dude and brought him back to life to teach him to behave. Then we timeskipped to the next day (current IC day), were called up at 5 AM and brought down to a large training complex in the basement. Matthius told everyone to grab a vest and two weapons from nearby crates (that's Lith's second to last post in the IC if you want to know) and then get ready. And that's where we are.

In terms of stats, yes. But that advantage was only granted by Lith, meaning he still used his OP powers to win

1: No idea. You weren't here so you probably don't have one, though there are some others without roommates if I recall so you could talk to them. From a quick glance at the Archive, those without roomies are: Allison (Icrum's char), Jacob (NeoFeudal's char, not sure on this one), Roger (Achid's char, not sure), Yin (Hasgriu's char, not sure if he's actually here), Patrick (Sun's char, not sure), Fredrick (Raktio's char, not sure if he's still in) aaaand that's it.

Hey Guys...anybody have a convenient summary of what has happened that would affect everyone since the initial explosion of the elevator and all our powers turning off? Been out for a week and the story kept going. Would like to get a post up without reading all the IC I missed...mainly because I am a bit lazy at the moment. Whoever did it would have my appreciation

I know the feeling. I'm really trying to finish some schoolwork right now and it's killing me. The two RPs I need to post in (this one and PlanetQuest) are both really active right now and it's killing me inside not to post in them since the IC situation right now is perfect for shenanigans in both of them but I really need to finish this thing before I get yelled at more. This isn't actually happening, is it? That's approximately 40 pounds of gun. if you only have one mag for each. Which is not recommended. A medium-weight shotgun plus one of the heaviest GPMGs wielded by a single soldier in the last 50 years does not sound like the loadout one would recommend for any engagement. You don't even have a sidearm, something standard issue in practically all military outfits. There's a reason it's SI: because they're small, reliable, lightweight, and easy to draw and use. Unlike a shotgun, especially while having a machine gun strapped across your chest.

I think that some of the new recruits picking godawful loadouts is to be expected, given they have no experience in real combat. They're picking out their own loadouts, so it's understandable. Although, forty pounds seems like it'd be a dead giveaway of impracticality. *has flashbacks to carrying around a 20-30lb backpack around all day every day in middleschool*
