I actually have some pretty good ideas for countering your super speed (naturally in most cases the person would have to be aware of your speed).

If ya got something like ice, then yeah you could probably defend against it pretty easily.

What's a little conflict between team members? Though typically I play characters who are agreeable to almost anything. As pointed out by Rob.

Pretty sure it would be hard to freeze ray a speedster in motion, however with ice you can do a freeze everything around you, as well as make surfaces slick which would deprive a speedster of control over turning and acceleration/deceleration.

Victor even mentioned that Cold has "Mastered Absolute zero." Fries is quite a bit more sympathetic though.

Cannot deny that Victor actually has a motive with the whole dying wife thing. Though Cold is doing things legit now. He's Lex Luthor's personal Bodyguard.

Also, red demons (nor any other levels of demon) in the new OP don't have the magic medic ability. Is this intentional, or is it an accident? I'm fine either way (we used it twice in the whole roleplay), I just wanna be sure.


...Ooooh, interesting! Is it a character-specific magical weapon like the unique ability, or is it a shapeshifting power to turn into any handheld weapon? It should probably be the former since the latter can be abused, but the latter will prompt all sorts of delicious Jackie shenanigans. UMBRELLA GUNS!

([EDIT: Also, in the event that it's a unique weapon, will it just simply be a regular weapon that's magically powerful, or will it potentially have gimmicks such as a throwing ax that returns to the user or a bow that fires arrows that split into several smaller arrows?])


Also, I'm just throwing an idea out: Should we have two separate training groups at the start, like how the lightning chick and that other guy came in at the start who were trained by Queen of the Lesbians Yuri and hadn't interacted with the 'old' group before they joined? I just say this because of my concern I wrote in the other thread about expectations since the old cast is fully familiar with the old cast and the expectations and perceptions (and even already has shipping and stuff going on) but the newbies probably haven't read through the whole old roleplay to know what it was like and who's what and so on.

With the weapons, it'll be character specific and defined in the app. But I may just make an exception for you, since your ability to make crazed jokes and pull the most hilarious shit shouldn't be limited by such a rule.

On that note, I actually just had an idea as to how this could reasonably work, without being an ass-pull. I'll shoot a TG with the details and the inspiration. I actually had this idea from considering what Jackie's power should be if he defected to Ira Dei, and it's also the power I gave one of the alternate universe Jackies.


@Separate groups: What I'm thinking is that the new guys could from Yuri and that the old guys could from Karlson (Unrelated, but I feel the need to note that Chris Karlson is a badass name.), so that the lack of familiarity of the old guys the new cast would have is more justified since the old cast is well-acquainted. It's more of a consideration for the meta circumstances that will affect the IC rather than a normal IC situation.

The reason I censor "ass" in my signature is because I think that it's against the rules to have profanity in your signature. I swear regularly in my posts.

The actual reason I've been knighted by Lith as the specialist of "Jackie-assery" is because of the hilarious stunts I pull with Jackie in the old TKaG's IC. He turned into smoke and suffocated an opponent, and allowed the opponent to recite a Bible verse in an attempt to exorcise the attacker. This caused the noted weakness of Jackie's ability to force him to materialize, but Jackie was aware of this. Jackie allowed this to happen on purpose, so he could force the opponent to kill himself by causing someone to forcefully burst from his chest and instantly die. Jackie burst out of the man's chest and ran away singing.

A later incident in the same battle included him throwing boiling water on a bunch of old priests, lighting them on fire, then blasting them with a cannon he made earlier over the course of several posts.

Another incident, which happened in training, was his death during the first fight in training. He managed to be the last survivor of the recruits, but Memoir teleported infront of him and blew part of his head off with a shotgun at point-blank. Jackie survived (Memoir's author's mention, not mine), and used his dying moments to quote Pulp Fiction as a form of subtle "fuck you" to the instructors killing him. Karlson was impatient with Jackie's failure to just die, and proceeded to just telekinetically crush him to death since the stubborn trickster wouldn't stop being an asshole, even while fatally wounded.

Most of the other incidents require too much context to explain quickly, but you get the idea. I am the best at trickster bullshit
