A robbery at the Fringeworks can still occur. Perhaps now it won't be expected as an attempt was already made. Plus, the organization and response time of the heroes is quite terrible. They left a 10 year old girl to defend the vault all by herself which nearly got her killed. Then my character was passed out on the ground at the scene of the crime for a few minutes and was still able to get away. So it's still very feasible to pull off.

Just going to pull Glare from this IC. Everything's moving too damn quickly. Once we have branching plots and ICs and everything slows down, I'll be back, though.

Fair enough. Things did get to a head and go quick - left little time for character development (Wanted to get Lucy fangirling over the GF...)

Btw, if you ever think of doing something about Glare's vendetta against the rich, self-serving 1% with Scott - pop off a TG.

Yeah, I was planning to have Jake be involved in the Fringe works incident, but it was over in like a few hours

The attack on the Fringeworks is the only thing of substance to the plot that has happened so far. Otherwise there's just a bunch of other interactions that aren't really critical to the main storyline.

Meant to ask earlier. Were you and Harb in cahoots re: the attack on Fringeworks?

I ask cause he told me to expect a certain char to be performing the robbery (his I presumed) but, you know, no spoilers. While everything was going down, I assumed he'd been talking about your guy.

Yeah that's why I left him there OOCly for a few hours but nobody did anything. I was hoping he would get captured. Would've made things interesting.

Man, I love NS for this turnaround sometimes :3 I remember the first site I RPed on, the usual posting regime was once a week. And even then we often only managed once a fortnight. /reminiscing

Anywho, it's unfortunately that time of year I'm afraid. Exams and all that jazz mean you're probably going to have to end up holding out for longer for a response if you really want one.

More effort could have been put into the action. Everything happened in four paragraphs giving no one time to react. There should be a post for preparation, post for casing the mark, execution which should happen in two or three posts, then getaway.

I know that is the case in many circumstances. Usually more so for quality RPs that involve longer posts. This one I figure is more casual. But there were tons of posts between the time my character went down and when he escaped so I figured it was about time the opportunity comes and passes.

Atlas vs. Fusion pissing contest over who should coax Susan out of Irradiating town hall, some of Susan and Fusion's powers were explained, and they arrived at The Guardians Keep.

Too powerful for my tastes.

Yeah. It was fine when everyone was relatively balanced, but now we've got Superman and Green Lantern-level heroes/villains in place of the previous Batman/Captain America level ones, so the older apps are more underpowered.

That, and I already took the name Pulsar for my Not!Magneto hero.

I say we do like how Bentus was saying/suggesting. Maybe have a Co-OP make another IC thread for the New York/Princeville players so we can settle down a bit.

after reading the Pandora scenario it would be odd if Atlas didn't have some knowledge of the "engineering their own superhumans" thing huh. Wait nvm he's an amnesiac.

Background:Stephen Fowl was a genius (technically a supergenius) who was shipped to the front lines in Iraq. He became a deserter when the fighting got particularly gruesome, and he was lost in the desert and found lying in the sand 45 miles from the nearest city. He was captured by the Iraqi soldiers who found him and then taken to a brutal prison, where he was held for ten years before escaping and blowing up the prison behind him, with hundreds of civilians and soldiers in it.
He now has begun a brutal campaign to break things and people for fun. He gets enjoyment out of death and destruction.
