Military Doctrine: (What tactics does your military use when in combat? What kind of unit does it prioritize?)
The company infantry employes line infantry tactics (with flanking parties when necessary). Often the infantry will be lined in double columns for the battle with the front rank knelt down. If they have there Dp-28 style rifles out and the enemy has their electric vehicles out, they will activate the rifles emp feature to knock out the enemies vehicles and power using devices like laser rifles and ships and artillery. When the enemy get out of the vehicles the infantry will hurl mustard gas at them, fire off the flare, and then fire their laser rounds off. The flares will signal air support to come and the planes will bomb the enemy. In doing that strategy they aim to bring the enemy down to their own level of technology.

The guards to the board of directors are often from that individual's background. However the uniform appearance of the guards often involves Spats, polished boots, a kilt and a Glengary to reflect the Scottish ancestry of many of the board-members.

Raised in Mipedim, these European mercenaries do not fight “for king and country” but for the great corporation of Knox.

Company infantry are professional soldiers drawn exclusively from the citizens who are descendants of Europeans, both officers and other ranks. They are members of private armies for the traders, but one that is available to further national needs when required. They fight using company doctrine and equipment as line infantrymen, carrying the same firearms as they have since earths evacuation, smoothbore, muzzle-loading muskets. These soldiers are also enforcers, tax gatherers and a potent threat against the local princes in Knox territory, even away from the battlefield.

Historically, the Knox corporation had often been closer to being a nation in its own right than a business venture. Knox territory was so wealthy that the companies needed armies, not just guards, to protect and expand their interests and prestige. With the Knox Company 1 in 5 company employees are soldiers.

Description:
With 1% of the population that lives in Knox territory being a direct employee of the company, it stands to reason that although significant, the company isn't the only employer in the region, however there pull in the region comes from there army, and there buying power. The territory of the Mipedim corporation, is rich in minerals, soil fertility, and biological diversity. The company has a reputation for there terraforming prowess, turning many desert and rock planets and moons into jungle and grasslands covered worlds. The economy of there planets however relies upon 3 industries. The Fishing and Agriculture industry provides food and cash crops to the population. The mining sector provides fuel and minerals to the population. Finally the manufacturing industry is big for it's taking of the raw materials and processing it into a usable product, such as rifles, starships, or homes, among other examples.

History: The Knox corporation nation-state was founded about 30 years after the company that controls it. At first it was just a conglomeration of Knox sponsored vessels that landed on terraformed worlds that the Knox corporation owned. But when the outer rim of owned solar systems began to attack each other, the corporate navy nullified the conflicts by pledging protection and then assimilating their gov't. Around 30 years after with the territory firmly under control the company implemented taxation in order to pay for a military.

The company came into conflict with the 2 other rich companies in the area, the Earnest corporation and the Mipedim company, both of whom posed a threat to the company profits. The 20 year war followed after the first shots were fired following the Earnest companies attempts at corporate espionage. At the end of the 20 year war neither the Mipedim nor the Earnest corp remained and their assets were diverted to the Knox corporation, including within much of the autonomous solar systems that composes the outer reached of the Knox corps territory.

Without a real competitor within their land, profits soared, but culture and the utilized equipment of the military and law enforcement stagnated.


Culture: Deeply conservative the society that is established in the territory of the Mipedim operates on a societal division based on race and gender first and merit second. With Caucasian people acting as the managerial/ higher tier in society while the East Indians operate the manual labour/ lower tier areas of society. Men are employed in most of the jobs.
Baseball, chess, and bowling are the most popular sports in the society. Sunday is a day off for all non-essential services. Company benefits and pensions is a tradition adhered to in most contracts. The society has a culture of maintaining appearances and therefore when in public most people try and look nice (collared shirts and dress pants/M, Long skirts and shirts/W), unless they're doing manual labour in which case they wear practical apparel. An emphasis on individuals is given, more specifically on individual honesty, honour, and integrity - To the extant where the Mipedim Bank would lend out money on legitimate contact info and a handshake promise to pay back the money.
The favoured music is classical/big band, and doo wop but others exist as well. The national instrument is the bagpipe.

History:

Most of the current population of the Knox corporations territory are decedents of people from northern Europe and the Indian sub-continent. When the Earth was evacuated the company as a pioneer in the aerospace industry and its colonial vessels left the galactic core and colonized the right side of the Perseus arm. The highland clans began to expand out into their planets and the princely states expanded into their solar system.

Goals: Profit, shareholder appeasement, corporate expansion, larger market shares, larger share prices, increased territory to govern over, alliances with nations outside their controlled sovereign territory but within their economic sphere of influence, more beneficial protectorates.

Description of Government: The Government is very similar to the Government of Earth's Democratic Nations, but was made specifically to prevent the kind of corruption seen on Earth. The Galactic Alliance is a collection of "states", which are actually the 7 worlds, each with two representatives on the Alliance Senate. They are the major decision makers, ensuring that each State is tended to, and that laws are made. Each Colony has a number of representatives (according to population) in a single house known as the House of Representatives.

Conservative Party: The Conservatives have held the chancellery for the past 30 years, and are the most notable of the Three. The Conservatives believe in a strong military to help defend the Alliance and her people, which is a major factor of why the Galactic Alliance has such a massive and powerful military. Conservatives believe in less corporate power, which is why the modern corporations are so restricted. Unlike many other parties, the Conservatives are not interested in pacifying Pirates and Independent Groups. In the eyes of the Conservative Party, pirates and independent groups within Alliance territory are traitors, and suffer the highest extent of Treason Punishments. The Conservatives want to keep the individual of the states as high was possible, but they're countered by the possibility that states could thus secede. Conservatives love the idea of People's Choice. They think that issues such as Gay Marriage and Civilian Gun Ownership should be left up to the people, not the State.

Liberal Party: Liberals are also pro-choice, but seem to support a very strong central government and support powerful corporations. They believe that corporations are vital to the Alliance Economy, as opposed to the Conservative values of small businesses and no all-powerful corporations. Liberals do not like the massive size of the military, saying it is "unnecessary" and "excessive", which does have actual facts backing it. There hasn't been a major conflict with Alliance involvement for over 100 centuries.

Nationalist Party: The Nationalists are the "pride of the Alliance", as they call themselves. They are made up of only "pure" Humans, which means they are all Elysians. The Nationalists believe that the Humans from the Homeworld, Earth, are the purest of all, and deserve the seat of power. While this party is popular among Humans, the various Humanoid Races that adapted to their individual worlds do not like it, calling the Nationalists "Racist".

History: The Galactic Alliance is one of the oldest Galactic powers around, and is traced directly back to the North American Federation, a superpower that existed on Earth long ago. After the Great War, when the remnants of the Human Race began to migrate from Earth out into the endless expanse of space, millions of Americans boarded a fleet of ships known as the "Migrant Nation". It took 3 years of travel for the massive fleet to reach the planet they would make their home: Elysium. It was given it's name because of the massive rolling plains, lush forests, and overall beauty. In addition, it was perfect because of it's proximity to it's sun, Titan. Elysium was located in the perfect location for life, and had a very similar atmosphere to Earth, which made it perfect. For 30 years, the Migrant Nation remained in their ships, orbiting around the planet which small colonies were constructed with the goal of building a structure known as the "Gate". The Gate was a massive tower that shot particles into the atmosphere. The Humans used this device to cycle out the Elysian air for the same type seen on Earth. It took 30 years for the planet's lifeforms to adapt to it, but when the first ships landed at the place that would later be named Thessia, the water was safe to drink, the air was free to breathe, and there was no adaption needed.

For the next 200 years, Elysium grew into a major player in the Galaxy, allying with dozens of other planets into the "Human Federation". This was the first sign of what would soon become known as the Galactic Alliance. Hundreds of years would pass, and the Human Federation would have annexed hundreds of inhabited planets and systems, 12 settled worlds, and would have an organized and powerful military. 787 years after the Migrant Nation left Earth, the Galactic Alliance was made, modeled after the great Democratic Powers of the Earth, making sure to keep the power in the hands of the people while so many other Galactic nations resorted to Imperialism and Dictatorship.

Culture: The Alliance has a few dozen separate races of Humanoids, but the one that's most known is the "Human Race", identical to the Humans of Earth hundreds of years ago. Most people in the Alliance are Humans, and this is because most people that are Humans either live on Elysium or on Colonies which are designed specifically to enable Humans to live there without having to "adapt" to their environment. Citizens enjoy many social and economic freedoms, and they celebrate holidays that have long since been forgotten, such as Christmas and Halloween. Citizens of the Alliance largely believe in God, and follow the different forms of Christianity (though, most are adapted with the exploration of the Cosmos). Citizens love music, especially techno, dubstep, trap, and hip-hop.

History: After the desolation of the Sol System, a group of colonizers departed in the direction of the constellation Cygnus. These colonists arrived at the planet Elise, and began to settle there. Making use of artificial uteri, the colony's population grew rapidly in size, which resulted in a resource crisis causing several revolts against the government in Ridomaria. Knowing this, the government hastily began to construct colony ships to colonize the worlds around to relieve Elise of its population problem. Currently the Perseid Federation has control of around 1,200 worlds, including small outposts and settlements, according to the last survey conducted by the Perseid Territorial Survey.

Unlike many other parties, the Conservatives are not interested in pacifying Pirates and Independent Groups. In the eyes of the Conservative Party, pirates and independent groups within Alliance territory are traitors, and suffer the highest extent of Treason Punishments. The Conservatives want to keep the individual of the states as high was possible, but they're countered by the possibility that states could thus secede. Conservatives love the idea of People's Choice. They think that issues such as Gay Marriage and the 2nd Amendment should be left up to the people, not the State.

Liberal Party: Liberals are also pro-choice, but seem to support a very strong central government and support powerful corporations. They believe that corporations are vital to the Alliance Economy, as opposed to the Conservative values of small businesses and no all-powerful corporations. Liberals do not like the massive size of the military, saying it is "unnecessary" and "excessive", which does have actual facts backing it. There hasn't been a major conflict with Alliance involvement for over 100 centuries.

Nationalist Party: The Nationalists are the "pride of the Alliance", as they call themselves. They are made up of only "pure" Humans, which means they are all Elysians. The Nationalists believe that the Humans from the Homeworld, Earth, are the purest of all, and deserve the seat of power. While this party is popular among Humans, the various Humanoid Races that adapted to their individual worlds do not like it, calling the Nationalists "Racist".

History: The Galactic Alliance is one of the oldest Galactic powers around, and is traced directly back to the United States of America, a superpower that existed on Earth long ago. After the Great War, when the remnants of the Human Race began to migrate from Earth out into the endless expanse of space, millions of Americans boarded a fleet of ships known as the "Migrant Nation". It took 3 years of travel for the massive fleet to reach the planet they would make their home: Elysium. It was given it's name because of the massive rolling plains, lush forests, and overall beauty. In addition, it was perfect because of it's proximity to it's sun, Titan. Elysium was located in the perfect location for life, and had a very similar atmosphere to Earth, which made it perfect. For 30 years, the Migrant Nation remained in their ships, orbiting around the planet which small colonies were constructed with the goal of building a structure known as the "Gate". The Gate was a massive tower that shot particles into the atmosphere. The Humans used this device to cycle out the Elysian air for the same type seen on Earth. It took 30 years for the planet's lifeforms to adapt to it, but when the first ships landed at the place that would later be named Thessia, the water was safe to drink, the air was free to breathe, and there was no adaption needed.

For the next 200 years, Elysium grew into a major player in the Galaxy, allying with dozens of other planets into the "Human Federation". This was the first sign of what would soon become known as the Galactic Alliance. Hundreds of years would pass, and the Human Federation would have annexed hundreds of inhabited planets and systems, 12 settled worlds, and would have an organized and powerful military. 787 years after the Migrant Nation left Earth, the Galactic Alliance was made, modeled after the great United States.
Culture: The Alliance has a few dozen separate races of Humanoids, but the one that's most known is the "Human Race", identical to the Humans of Earth hundreds of years ago. Most people in the Alliance are Humans, and this is because most people that are Humans either live on Elysium or on Colonies which are designed specifically to enable Humans to live there without having to "adapt" to their environment. Citizens enjoy many social and economic freedoms, and they celebrate holidays that have long since been forgotten, such as Christmas and Halloween. Citizens of the Alliance largely believe in God, and follow the different forms of Christianity (though, most are adapted with the exploration of the Cosmos). Citizens love music, especially techno, dubstep, trap, and hip-hop.

History: The Perseid Federation is a great power exerting influence in the Perseus Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy (hence the namesake and demonym). It has its origins in the European Federation, which was the successor to the European Union. After the desolation of the Sol System due to devastating wars and an increasing resource crisis, a group of colonizers coming from various European countries departed in the direction of the constellation Cygnus. These colonists arrived in Salvation Shuttles that separated into modules heading to varying systems in the Perseus Arm; one of these ships made it within the influence of Seneca, and settled in the system's habitable planet, Elise.

Making use of artificial uteri, the colony's population grew rapidly in size, which resulted in a resource crisis causing several revolts against the government in Ridomaria. Knowing this, the government hastily began to construct colony ships to colonize the worlds around to relieve Elise of its population problem. Once Elise's domains have expanded, it made contact with the other Cygnus colonies nearby. Some colonies from the Cygnus group have joined Elise and formed the Seneca Federation, others have been more hostile, and have occasionally been involved in wars with Seneca.

One particular war that may have strengthened the resolve to unify the Perseus Arm colonies of the Alpha Quadrant was the Great Perseid War, which took the lives of more than 30 billion people, including a great deal of Senecans. To keep a lasting peace, the signatory nations of the Perseid Charter have established the Perseid Union, which later became the Perseid Federation due to pressure from the other powers in the galaxy.

Currently the Perseid Federation has control of around 1,200 worlds, including small outposts and settlements, according to the last survey conducted by the Perseid Territorial Survey. Increasingly, the Perseids have begun to construct Orbitals, which are more efficient in handling large numbers of people compared to planets. Currently the Perseids have finished one Orbital, with five more being planned by the Audience.

History: To tell the tale of Assaya, one must start with the tale of Jean Sherman, a optimistic and hopeful pilgrim who was part of one of the Salvation shuttles, specifically to the world to be known as Assay, which was both a veritable garden of Eden and a death world of horror and struggle. Many of the original settlers died, and when all hope was almost lost, Jean took the mantle as leader of the colonists and they began to quickly find ways to flourish on the world of Assay.

Though at first there was peace and prosperity on Assay, before very long the the world became divided. The de facto leader of Assay, John Green, divided territory up for the sake of management among thirty different leaders, all of which barely knew each other, yet were competent enough in their own right. Soon, however, these leaders grew paranoid. John couldn’t manage everything and many knew it was only a matter of time before someone took advantage of the precarious situation. The last straw was Johns death, after which the leaders began drawing up alliance webs, fighting world wars. Chaos and anarchy reigned in a state of near never ending war.

That was when Assaya (Named for she had the beauty of the world they had come to) came in, descendant of Jean and only eighteen when she took the reign of one of the many micro nations. A child prodigy and a genius, Assaya united the planet through sheer force of charmisma, though this is the part where historians argue. Some say she used minimal force and much negotiation and understanding, where others say she forged a new Assay mostly through blood.

However, either way she seemed tired of fighting, though surprisingly the conflict did not age her or wear on her charisma at all, she wanted to create a permanently peaceful Assay, and she did so by shutting herself away from the world for many a day until she found an answer. A new philosophy which would soon become a religious movement. It would forever unite Assay in peace and harmony, (Though, some could argue Assayanism has led to many a death despite it’s seemingly peaceful intentions.) and Assaya had plans for it to go even further.

Assaya, however, seemingly disappeared after about ten years of her rule for about a month. Then, when she returned, she said that she had ascended to the level of divinity and then disappeared for a second and final time. Whether she died, went mad, was killed by high up Assayans and then impersonated, went into hiding is unknown. In fact there’s even a popular theory or two theorizing that she was some sort of immortal or vampire who conspired to have the world Worship her.

Regardless, the Assaya faith has provided considerable energy and fervor, influencing many lives and impacting many individuals. Whether it’s truly a force for peace or is just some rosy filtered lie to gain money and exercise power (or even an ancient vampire conspiracy.) Assayanism has shaped Assay and the people on it to say the least.

The church is surprisingly lax on regulation, despite requiring it’s members to never feel hatred or greed. To believe in the power of Love and Assay and to destroy and end War and conflict. And to act in a way which promotes love and compassion.
Besides that, most anything is permissible. Different interpretations of Assays words . Uniforms are mandatory when in churches, but not when anywhere else. Assaya’s books are required reading. Relationships and sex are not only permitted among members but actively encouraged. Alchohol and Drugs are frowned upon, but not openly banned.

Conservatives love the idea of People's Choice. They think that issues such as Gay Marriage and the 2nd Amendment should be left up to the people, not the State.

Liberal Party: Liberals are also pro-choice, but seem to support a very strong central government and support powerful corporations. They believe that corporations are vital to the Alliance Economy, as opposed to the Conservative values of small businesses and no all-powerful corporations. Liberals do not like the massive size of the military, saying it is "unnecessary" and "excessive", which does have actual facts backing it. There hasn't been a major conflict with Alliance involvement for over 100 centuries.

Nationalist Party: The Nationalists are the "pride of the Alliance", as they call themselves. They are made up of only "pure" Humans, which means they are all Elysians. The Nationalists believe that the Humans from the Homeworld, Earth, are the purest of all, and deserve the seat of power. While this party is popular among Humans, the various Humanoid Races that adapted to their individual worlds do not like it, calling the Nationalists "Racist".

History: The Galactic Alliance is one of the oldest Galactic powers around, and is traced directly back to the United States of America, a superpower that existed on Earth long ago. After the Great War, when the remnants of the Human Race began to migrate from Earth out into the endless expanse of space, millions of Americans boarded a fleet of ships known as the "Migrant Nation". It took 3 years of travel for the massive fleet to reach the planet they would make their home: Elysium. It was given it's name because of the massive rolling plains, lush forests, and overall beauty. In addition, it was perfect because of it's proximity to it's sun, Titan. Elysium was located in the perfect location for life, and had a very similar atmosphere to Earth, which made it perfect. For 30 years, the Migrant Nation remained in their ships, orbiting around the planet which small colonies were constructed with the goal of building a structure known as the "Gate". The Gate was a massive tower that shot particles into the atmosphere. The Humans used this device to cycle out the Elysian air for the same type seen on Earth. It took 30 years for the planet's lifeforms to adapt to it, but when the first ships landed at the place that would later be named Thessia, the water was safe to drink, the air was free to breathe, and there was no adaption needed.

For the next 200 years, Elysium grew into a major player in the Galaxy, allying with dozens of other planets into the "Human Federation". This was the first sign of what would soon become known as the Galactic Alliance. Hundreds of years would pass, and the Human Federation would have annexed hundreds of inhabited planets and systems, 12 settled worlds, and would have an organized and powerful military. 787 years after the Migrant Nation left Earth, the Galactic Alliance was made, modeled after the great United States.

History: To tell the tale of Assaya, one must start with the tale of Jean Sherman, a optimistic and hopeful pilgrim who was part of one of the Salvation shuttles, specifically to the world to be known as Assay, which was both a veritable garden of Eden and a death world of horror and struggle. Many of the original settlers died, and when all hope was almost lost, Jean took the mantle as leader of the colonists and they began to quickly find ways to flourish on the world of Assay.

Though at first there was peace and prosperity on Assay, before very long the the world became divided. The de facto leader of Assay, John Green, divided territory up for the sake of management among thirty different leaders, all of which barely knew each other, yet were competent enough in their own right. Soon, however, these leaders grew paranoid. John couldn’t manage everything and many knew it was only a matter of time before someone took advantage of the precarious situation. The last straw was Johns death, after which the leaders began drawing up alliance webs, fighting world wars. Chaos and anarchy reigned in a state of near never ending war.

That was when Assaya (Named for she had the beauty of the world they had come to) came in, descendant of Jean and only eighteen when she took the reign of one of the many micro nations. A child prodigy and a genius, Assaya united the planet through sheer force of charmisma, though this is the part where historians argue. Some say she used minimal force and much negotiation and understanding, where others say she forged a new Assay mostly through blood.

However, either way she seemed tired of fighting, though surprisingly the conflict did not age her or wear on her charisma at all, she wanted to create a permanently peaceful Assay, and she did so by shutting herself away from the world for many a day until she found an answer. A new philosophy which would soon become a religious movement. It would forever unite Assay in peace and harmony, (Though, some could argue Assayanism has led to many a death despite it’s seemingly peaceful intentions.) and Assaya had plans for it to go even further.

Assaya, however, seemingly disappeared after about ten years of her rule for about a month. Then, when she returned, she said that she had ascended to the level of divinity and then disappeared for a second and final time. Whether she died, went mad, was killed by high up Assayans and then impersonated, went into hiding is unknown. In fact there’s even a popular theory or two theorizing that she was some sort of immortal or vampire who conspired to have the world Worship her.

Regardless, the Assaya faith has provided considerable energy and fervor, influencing many lives and impacting many individuals. Whether it’s truly a force for peace or is just some rosy filtered lie to gain money and exercise power (or even an ancient vampire conspiracy.) Assayanism has shaped Assay and the people on it to say the least.

Besides that, most anything is permissible. Different interpretations of Assays words . Uniforms are mandatory when in churches, but not when anywhere else. Assaya’s books are required reading. Relationships and sex are not only permitted among members but actively encouraged. Alchohol and Drugs are frowned upon, but not openly banned.

In the eyes of the Conservative Party, pirates and independent groups within Alliance territory are traitors, and suffer the highest extent of Treason Punishments. The Conservatives want to keep the individual of the states as high was possible, but they're countered by the possibility that states could thus secede. Conservatives love the idea of People's Choice. They think that issues such as Gay Marriage and the 2nd Amendment should be left up to the people, not the State.

Liberal Party: Liberals are also pro-choice, but seem to support a very strong central government and support powerful corporations. They believe that corporations are vital to the Alliance Economy, as opposed to the Conservative values of small businesses and no all-powerful corporations. Liberals do not like the massive size of the military, saying it is "unnecessary" and "excessive", which does have actual facts backing it. There hasn't been a major conflict with Alliance involvement for over 100 centuries.

Nationalist Party: The Nationalists are the "pride of the Alliance", as they call themselves. They are made up of only "pure" Humans, which means they are all Elysians. The Nationalists believe that the Humans from the Homeworld, Earth, are the purest of all, and deserve the seat of power. While this party is popular among Humans, the various Humanoid Races that adapted to their individual worlds do not like it, calling the Nationalists "Racist".

History: The Galactic Alliance is one of the oldest Galactic powers around, and is traced directly back to the United States of America, a superpower that existed on Earth long ago. After the Great War, when the remnants of the Human Race began to migrate from Earth out into the endless expanse of space, millions of Americans boarded a fleet of ships known as the "Migrant Nation". It took 3 years of travel for the massive fleet to reach the planet they would make their home: Elysium. It was given it's name because of the massive rolling plains, lush forests, and overall beauty. In addition, it was perfect because of it's proximity to it's sun, Titan. Elysium was located in the perfect location for life, and had a very similar atmosphere to Earth, which made it perfect. For 30 years, the Migrant Nation remained in their ships, orbiting around the planet which small colonies were constructed with the goal of building a structure known as the "Gate". The Gate was a massive tower that shot particles into the atmosphere. The Humans used this device to cycle out the Elysian air for the same type seen on Earth. It took 30 years for the planet's lifeforms to adapt to it, but when the first ships landed at the place that would later be named Thessia, the water was safe to drink, the air was free to breathe, and there was no adaption needed.

For the next 200 years, Elysium grew into a major player in the Galaxy, allying with dozens of other planets into the "Human Federation". This was the first sign of what would soon become known as the Galactic Alliance. Hundreds of years would pass, and the Human Federation would have annexed hundreds of inhabited planets and systems, 12 settled worlds, and would have an organized and powerful military. 787 years after the Migrant Nation left Earth, the Galactic Alliance was made, modeled after the great United States.

Many of the original settlers died, and when all hope was almost lost, Jean took the mantle as leader of the colonists and they began to quickly find ways to flourish on the world of Assay.

Though at first there was peace and prosperity on Assay, before very long the the world became divided. The de facto leader of Assay, John Green, divided territory up for the sake of management among thirty different leaders, all of which barely knew each other, yet were competent enough in their own right. Soon, however, these leaders grew paranoid. John couldn’t manage everything and many knew it was only a matter of time before someone took advantage of the precarious situation. The last straw was Johns death, after which the leaders began drawing up alliance webs, fighting world wars. Chaos and anarchy reigned in a state of near never ending war.

That was when Assaya (Named for she had the beauty of the world they had come to) came in, descendant of Jean and only eighteen when she took the reign of one of the many micro nations. A child prodigy and a genius, Assaya united the planet through sheer force of charmisma, though this is the part where historians argue. Some say she used minimal force and much negotiation and understanding, where others say she forged a new Assay mostly through blood.

However, either way she seemed tired of fighting, though surprisingly the conflict did not age her or wear on her charisma at all, she wanted to create a permanently peaceful Assay, and she did so by shutting herself away from the world for many a day until she found an answer. A new philosophy which would soon become a religious movement. It would forever unite Assay in peace and harmony, (Though, some could argue Assayanism has led to many a death despite it’s seemingly peaceful intentions.) and Assaya had plans for it to go even further.

Assaya, however, seemingly disappeared after about ten years of her rule for about a month. Then, when she returned, she said that she had ascended to the level of divinity and then disappeared for a second and final time. Whether she died, went mad, was killed by high up Assayans and then impersonated, went into hiding is unknown. In fact there’s even a popular theory or two theorizing that she was some sort of immortal or vampire who conspired to have the world Worship her.

Regardless, the Assaya faith has provided considerable energy and fervor, influencing many lives and impacting many individuals. Whether it’s truly a force for peace or is just some rosy filtered lie to gain money and exercise power (or even an ancient vampire conspiracy.) Assayanism has shaped Assay and the people on it to say the least.

Relationships and sex are not only permitted among members but actively encouraged. Alchohol and Drugs are frowned upon, but not openly banned.

I'm thinking Gauss/Kinetic weapons and Missiles. Both are relatively cheap to make and distribute. Plus they make huge explosions, and you can cover them in holy symbols!

History: The Perseid Federation is a great power exerting influence in the Perseus Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy (hence the namesake and demonym). Military Doctrine: The Alliance has a massive military, which is advanced and powerful. The Galactic Alliance Armed Military Doctrine is organized into three branches: The Alliance Navy, Alliance Marine Corps, and the Alliance Army.

Alliance Navy: The Alliance Navy is a massive collection of military ships, from Dreadnoughts to Fighters, which are used to battle other forces in space. The Alliance Navy is organized into 37 Fleets, each fleet containing a few thousand ships. During peacetime, the fleets are used primarily for the defense of Alliance Planets and Systems. During wartime, the Navy is split between the defense of Alliance territory and campaigns against enemy forces. The Alliance Navy is iconic for it's unpredictability, using different strategies with each battle, and is well known for rooting out almost all pirate organizations in it's territory.
Alliance Marine Corps: The Alliance Marines are some of the most well trained warriors in the Galaxy, famous for their dedication, loyalty, and sheer skill. Marines are on all Naval Vessels, and operate on all fields of battle. Whether it be in Boarding Parties, on the front-lines, or simply operating fighters, the Marines are there. The Marines typically aren't stationed on a specific planet in large numbers unless it's during wartime. The Marines have separate sub-branches just like the others, most notably the Marine Raiders, who are infamous for their "no prisoners" policy and decisive work behind enemy lines.
Alliance Army: The Galactic Alliance Army is the basic infantry force of the Alliance, consisting of vehicles and soldiers alike. The job of the Army is to defend planets and keep order on worlds, as well as back up Marines during attacks on planets.

Description: The Galactic Alliance depends on a variety of sources to keep a stable economy. With seven main worlds, and dozens of Colonies, the Alliance lives off colonies, whether it be for mass production or agriculture. The Alliance is very dependent on the colonies, but also depends of Capitalism. There are various corporations that are based in the Alliance, but are restricted by the Government.

Government Type: Representative Democracy
Description of Government: The Government is very similar to the Government of Earth's United States of America, but was made specifically to prevent the kind of corruption seen in the United States. The Galactic Alliance is a collection of "states", which are actually the 7 worlds, each with two representatives on the Alliance Senate. They are the major decision makers, ensuring that each State is tended to, and that laws are made.

Lower House of Legislature: House of Representatives
Ruling Political Party: No ruling party, but the most influential are the Big Three.
Major Political Parties: There are a dozen Political Parties in the Galactic Alliance, but only 3, known as the "Big Three", with the most influence, power, and members. Below are the Big Three:
Conservative Party: The Conservatives have held the chancellery for the past 30 years, and are the most notable of the Three. The Conservatives believe in a strong military to help defend the Alliance and her people, which is a major factor of why the Galactic Alliance has such a massive and powerful military. Conservatives believe in less corporate power, which is why the modern corporations are so restricted. Unlike many other parties, the Conservatives are not interested in pacifying Pirates and Independent Groups. In the eyes of the Conservative Party, pirates and independent groups within Alliance territory are traitors, and suffer the highest extent of Treason Punishments. The Conservatives want to keep the individual of the states as high was possible, but they're countered by the possibility that states could thus secede. Conservatives love the idea of People's Choice. They think that issues such as Gay Marriage and the 2nd Amendment should be left up to the people, not the State.

Liberal Party: Liberals are also pro-choice, but seem to support a very strong central government and support powerful corporations. They believe that corporations are vital to the Alliance Economy, as opposed to the Conservative values of small businesses and no all-powerful corporations. Liberals do not like the massive size of the military, saying it is "unnecessary" and "excessive", which does have actual facts backing it. There hasn't been a major conflict with Alliance involvement for over 100 centuries.

Nationalist Party: The Nationalists are the "pride of the Alliance", as they call themselves. They are made up of only "pure" Humans, which means they are all Elysians. The Nationalists believe that the Humans from the Homeworld, Earth, are the purest of all, and deserve the seat of power. While this party is popular among Humans, the various Humanoid Races that adapted to their individual worlds do not like it, calling the Nationalists "Racist".

History: The Galactic Alliance is one of the oldest Galactic powers around, and is traced directly back to the United States of America, a superpower that existed on Earth long ago. After the Great War, when the remnants of the Human Race began to migrate from Earth out into the endless expanse of space, millions of Americans boarded a fleet of ships known as the "Migrant Nation". It took 3 years of travel for the massive fleet to reach the planet they would make their home: Elysium. It was given it's name because of the massive rolling plains, lush forests, and overall beauty. In addition, it was perfect because of it's proximity to it's sun, Titan. Elysium was located in the perfect location for life, and had a very similar atmosphere to Earth, which made it perfect. For 30 years, the Migrant Nation remained in their ships, orbiting around the planet which small colonies were constructed with the goal of building a structure known as the "Gate". The Gate was a massive tower that shot particles into the atmosphere. The Humans used this device to cycle out the Elysian air for the same type seen on Earth. It took 30 years for the planet's lifeforms to adapt to it, but when the first ships landed at the place that would later be named Thessia, the water was safe to drink, the air was free to breathe, and there was no adaption needed.

For the next 200 years, Elysium grew into a major player in the Galaxy, allying with dozens of other planets into the "Human Federation". This was the first sign of what would soon become known as the Galactic Alliance. Hundreds of years would pass, and the Human Federation would have annexed hundreds of inhabited planets and systems, 12 settled worlds, and would have an organized and powerful military. 787 years after the Migrant Nation left Earth, the Galactic Alliance was made, modeled after the great United States.
Culture: The Alliance has a few dozen separate races of Humanoids, but the one that's most known is the "Human Race", identical to the Humans of Earth hundreds of years ago. Most people in the Alliance are Humans, and this is because most people that are Humans either live on Elysium or on Colonies which are designed specifically to enable Humans to live there without having to "adapt" to their environment. Citizens enjoy many social and economic freedoms, and they celebrate holidays that have long since been forgotten, such as Christmas and Halloween. Citizens of the Alliance largely believe in God, and follow the different forms of Christianity (though, most are adapted with the exploration of the Cosmos). Citizens love music, especially techno, dubstep, trap, and hip-hop.

Gonna need more detail on the Military beyond "advanced and powerful." What exactly are it's strengths and weaknesses? What tactics are usually pursued?

Also, it seems that your nation could be boiled down to 'Merica in space. I'd rather not have carbon-copies of real-world nations.

It's not a carbon copy at all. It's modeled after American Democracy, which is completely realistic. Ill edit the Military, but I see no problem with my government
