After some reconsideration i think having the decembrists succeed in their plot is just easier to justify than the Novgorodians wining against Muscovy.

Edit: Also makes the history of Germany easier to justify.

Military
Ground Forces:
Indonesian Revolutionary Army (IRA):
Active: 233,000
Reserve: 500,000
Since the nation's independence movement, the Indonesian Army has been involved in multifaceted operations ranging from the incorporation of Western New Guinea, the Indonesia-Malaysia Confrontation, to the annexation of East Timor, as well as internal counter-insurgency operations in Aceh, Maluku and Papua. The army's operations have not been without controversy; it has been periodically associated with human rights violations, particularly in West Papua, East Timor and Aceh. During the "Scarlet Revolution", the army, which had been infiltrated by he communists were ordered to fire on the rioting population of Java and other major cities, however in everywhere but Achen, the army joined the rioters

The Indonesian army is experience in both conventional and unconventional warfare. Thanks to the countries large economy, the army can afford large amounts of generally good quality weapons. Most of these weapons, are made domestically Anoa IFV, however some military equipment is imported, such as the Leopard 2 MBT.

List of equipment here
Naval Forces:
Indonesian Revolutionary Navy (IRR):
Active Personnel: 74,000
Ships and Planes:
74,000 active duty personnel
55 Aircraft
1 Aircraft carrier
1 Helicopter carrier
2 Submarines (+ 3 under construction)
6 Frigates (+ 2 under construction)
10 Corvettes
16 ASW Corvettes
15 Missile Boat
51 Patrol Craft
12 Minesweeper
4 Amphibious Transport Dock

As Indonesia is an archipelgio, the navy is funded heavily by central governemnt, as such the Indonesian Navy is the largest navy in South East Asia based on the number of active personnel and ships. As of 2009, the Indonesian Navy had about 75,000 active personnel and more than 150 vessels in active service. The Indonesian Navy is one of a few navies in the region backed by a substantial domestic defence industry, marine corps, and armed with supersonic missiles and attack submarines.

Air Forces:
Indonesian Revolutionary Air Force (IRAF):
Active Personnel: 37,850 personnel
Size:510 aircraft including 110 combat aircraft

The IRAF is the smallest of Indonesia's armed forces. Possessing only 31 fighter jets, the majority of the combat aircraft are strike aircraft and designed for the anti-guerrilla warfare of the previous Suharto regime. The IRAF has a large amount of Helicopters, Tactical Airlift, military transport aircraft and Maritime Patrol Aircraft. The main role of the IRAF is Defence and dominance of Indonesia's airspace and its territory.

Planes
Other
History: The same history up until 1995 (apart from 1963):
1963: Sarawak leaves British Empire, however, instead of joining Malaysia, it joins Indonesia
1992: Suharto sells North Kalitaman and North Sulawesi to Borneo sparking mass protests from both sides of the political spectrum and creating an (unfounded) hatred towards the Philippines among working class communities, especially on Borneo
1994: The Socialist Democratic People's Party (SDPP) gains control of the opposition movement and begins planning to remove the dictator Suharto
1995: A splinter group from SDPP march of Suharto's palace, demanding his resignation, Suharto orders the army to fire on the protesters, killing 100 people. Over the next few months, 2,000 dissidents are arrested and shot by the Suharto regime. Oddly, this benefits the SDPP as it gets rid of major opposition and the general public becomes angry with the Suharto regime, SDPP membership in 1995-1996 increases by 100%
1996: SDPP begin infiltrating the lower ranks army
1998: On the 12th May, 1998 huge demonstrations are held in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Bekasi,Medan, Depok and Achen, demanding the resignation of Suharto. The regime orders the army to disperse the demonstrations, however in everywhere except Achen, the soldiers turn on their officers and join the protesters. Between 13-15 May, the protesters gain control of each targeted city except Achen. Suharto is arrested and shot in a public square. The SDPP proclaims the People's Federative Republic of Indonesia (RFRI). Achen holds out against the thew republic until August when, cut off from the outside by blockade, it joins the RFRI.

~ The country's economic policy will continue to be friendly to both domestic and foreign direct investments;

~ The Philippines can benefit most quickly from international tourism

~ Overseas Filipinos will continue to be recognized for their critical role in the country's economic and social stability.

How did the Philippines gets the former Spanish East Indies territories when they are now independent today and some of them are American incorporated territory? First of all, Philippines is the heartland of the Spanish East Indies which when the Philippines granted its independence from the United States, the United States gives Palau, Micronesia, Guam, and Mariana Islands to the Philippines as a rightful territory.

How did the Philippines gets Sabah, North Kalimantan, and North Sulawesi? Well..here it goes, what if Sabah chooses to live with the Philippines instead of Malaysia, that's a possibility and also what if Indonesia is in economic hardship but wants to sell North Kalimantan and North Sulawesi to the rich Philippines during the Marcos regime? That's also a possibility. (Me and Malay Raya have deal about this already..so yeah.)
